The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection
Billionaire With Husband 607

Chapter 607

"Polaris!" Felix's voice carried a cold edge as he stared Matty down.

Matty tried to look calm, but inside, he was panicking. He could not gauge Felix's abilities or whether he was afraid of guns, so he decided to bluff, hoping to buy time until Louis O'Neill arrived.

"You've got quite the nerve, name-dropping like that. You trash think you're amazing just because you're to an organization of that nonsense caliber?" Felix sneered. He knew these kinds of people-they loved to use big names to intimidate others.

Felix had reservations about Polaris, but at least they operated with some semblance of ethics. The infamous Mourning Village incident proved as much.

Despite their involvement, no innocent lives were lost. There was no way a group like that would stoop to trafficking children.

"Don't believe me? Fine! If you're so confident, wait here. Once Mr. O'Neill gets here, you'll know whether I'm lying or not," Matty said, his tone gaining a hint of arrogance.

Felix tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. "Oh? The mastermind is coming, too? Perfect. I'd like to see who this Mr. O'Neill really is."

Felix exhaled slowly. These monsters were not just guilty of planning to harm Nancy- they had already inflicted unspeakable cruelty on innocent children.

Scum like Matty and his group did not deserve to walk away unscathed. Felix was determined to wipe them out completely, leaving no trace behind.

This was also why he did not contact Xena or Alistair. After all, the Wolfie troops were an official organization. Even if these people were executed, it would be a swift death, which would be too easy and kind for scumbags like these. Matty smirked, pretending to relax. "Smart choice. Since you're cooperating, I'll even put in a good word for you when Mr. O'Neill arrives

In truth, Matty had no intention of helping Felix. Once Louis arrived, Felix's death was guaranteed. The mention of Polaris was just a ploy to make Felix hesitate.

However, his smug thoughts were interrupted when he noticed Felix's right hand glimmer with tiny, cold light flashes. Looking closer, Marty realized they were silver needles.

He stammered, "W-What are you doing?"

Felix's lips curled into a wicked smile. "What am I doing? Making sure you pay the price.

With a flick of his wrist, the needles shot out like lightning, striking Matty and the three others. Their guns clattered to the ground as their eyes widened in sheer agony. But that Chapter 60

was just the start.

Before long, their bodies convulsed as they collapsed to the dirt. Then, they began writhing on the ground, their faces twisting from the pain.

"Stop! Please, make it stop!" one of them screamed.

The pain was excruciating at first, but soon, it transformed into something worse-an unbearable mix of itching and burning, like thousands of ants gnawing at their insides. The torment left them in tears, begging for mercy. Felix remained unmoved, his gaze icy. "This is what you deserve," he stated flatly.

Five minutes later, Felix retrieved the needles. The four men gasped for air, their bodies drenched in sweat. They immediately dropped to their knees, begging Felix with frantic desperation.

"Please! Spare us! We'll never do this again!"

"Sir, I swear I've learned my lesson! Just kill me and end this-don't torture me anymore!"

None of that wanted to experience the feeling again. It was like being in hell on earth, and they would much rather die.

Unfortunately for them, their cries fell on deaf ears. Felix twirled the needles in his fingers before sending them flying once more.

This time, the needles didn't bring pain. Instead, a wave of relief washed over the men, so much so that a few of them groaned in unintentional pleasure.

"You're hurting children-you're obviously the worst type of being. I'll make sure you pay for your sins," Felix declared coldly.

Felix knew the human body could not endure such torment indefinitely. To maximize their suffering, he had to relieve them briefly every five minutes, only to reapply the needles and drag them deeper into despair.

After 20 minutes of this cycle, the four men were left kneeling, completely broken. Their blank, hollow eyes stared at the ground as if their very souls had been stripped away.

Felix observed them with cold detachment, feeling no remorse. Their minds may have shattered, but their pain was still persisting. For monsters like them, this was far more fitting than a quick death.
