Nina was equally stunned. When she'd been preparing the agreement earlier, Jim had approached her. Once the agreement was ready, he followed her as she brought the document to Felix.

She didn't expect to see him bow and scrape before Felix, even offering to give him the car for free. It was a top-of-the-range Range Rover worth 400 thousand dollars! "No, it's fine," Felix said.

Jim seemed to expect Felix to turn him down. He lowered his head respectfully again. "Understood, Mr. Zeller. Once again, allow me to thank you for patronizing our store."

He turned and pulled Nina aside. "Remember to satisfy whatever requirements Mr. Zeller has. You don't need to ask me for permission."

"Yes, sir!" Nina said.

Jim walked off, sighing in relief. Only then did he realize his forehead was covered in sweat. It was his first time dealing with a customer of such wealth and status, after all. How could he not be nervous? Felix had used Concord Bank's Diamond Card to pay for the car. "Wealthy" couldn't even begin to describe a customer at that level. To put it crudely, he could buy a few publicly listed companies for fun if he wanted.

Nina might not have recognized the Diamond Card, but the accounts officer sure had. They'd immediately informed Jim of this, who had, in turn, informed his boss.

Jim hadn't been joking when offering to give Felix the car for free. It was more than worth it if giving away a 400-thousand-dollar car could buy them a relationship with someone who owned a Diamond Card. It was too bad Felix hadn't accepted the offer. Milo was also stunned. Was Felix really just a mediocre village doctor? Why had Jim offered to give him the car, then? It was ridiculous. Jim's attitude had been much too humble, too.

He couldn't do anything to Felix. After witnessing what had happened, he hurried off, not even bothering to give Sabrina a heads-up. He had to tell Sasha about this as soon as possible.

"Sabrina." Sabrina's friend approached her, looking bitter. "Do you regret this? I looked into your so-called broke cousin and found that he paid for a 400-thousand-dollar Range Rover in one go. You saw how the store manager acted around him, didn't you?" She didn't need to say anything else. Sabrina was already stunned. She couldn't believe that Felix was so much better than he'd been before his three-year disappearance. What had happened there? Or was this all just a facade? Meanwhile, Milo got into his car and called Sasha. "You'll never believe what I just went through, Sasha. Felix..."

He told her what had happened. She said in astonishment, "Are you sure you weren't seeing things? Can someone like Felix really afford to buy a Range Rover? And you said the store manager attended to him in person with such a humble attitude..." "I'm positive! I wouldn't dare lie to you, Sasha. Could it be that there's a side to Felix that we aren't aware of?"

Sasha's voice suddenly shot up several octaves. "Oh, no! My dad must've given Felix some money out of guilt. That's why he could afford that Range Rover!" 1

Was that the case? Milo wasn't convinced, though. That didn't explain Jim's behavior. However, before he could say anything, Sasha had already hung up.
