Chapter 615 Chapter 615

The Oceanus Realm was a level of power far beyond the Aetherial Realm, achieved only. when one could form an energy vortex within their core. The advancement in strength that came with reaching this realm was beyond description.

Now fully comprehending Felix's power, Yates felt a wave of complex'emotions. In his entire life, he had never witnessed someone as young as Felix reach the Oceanus Realm.

Despite being considered a genius in his prime Yates had spent his entire life stuck in this realm, unable to advance further. The others who had emerged earlier-Titus, Thaddeus, and Uzziah-all wore expressions of amazement.

"Who is this young man, and who trained him? He's so young, yet he's reached the Oceanus Realm!" Titus felt a mix of emotions, realizing his own training paled in comparison.

Uzziah nodded in agreement. "They say each generation surpasses the last. I always thought Mason from the Jacobs family would lead this generation, but perhaps I've been too narrow-minded."

Unlike the others, Thaddeus recognized Felix immediately. However, he kept quiet, as the revelation of Felix's Oceanus Realm mastery rendered him too shocked to think straight.

"Mr. Jordan is a master with the major mastery of Oceanus Realm," Titus commented cautiously. "This young man is probably just at the entry level. There's no real comparison, right?"

Uzziah considered this and nodded. "Of course. Yates has spent over 20 years at the Oceanus Realm, and he's almost ready to break through to the next stage. If I were at his level, even I couldn't say with certainty that I'd surpass him, let alone some kid." "Exactly," Titus agreed, his tone grim. "If this boy isn't from a prestigious sect, he's only digging his own grave here."

The tension in the air thickened as Yates' expression hardened. Felix had humiliated Polaris by defeating its strongest members, but he had yet to kill anyone. However, this insult was far too deep to ignore, and as Polaris most powerful figure, Yates would not let it slide.

The injured elders and sect leader, groaning on the ground, felt a strange sense of relief. Learning that Felix was an Oceanus Realm master took some of the sting out of their defeat. If anything, it was almost reassuring-none of them had even come close to landing a blow on him.

Nonetheless, those did not matter with Yates present. They believed he would ensure Felix paid for his arrogance.

"You've spared their lives," Yates said finally, his voice cold but steady. "Out of respect for your talent, I'll allow you a chance to explain yourself."

The four severely injured elders wanted to protest but fell silent under Yates' stem gaze.

Felix's lips curled into a wry smile as he turned to Yates. "You're the first person I've met here who shows even a shred of dignity that a leader of a great sect should have. Fine. I'll tell you why I'm here." Yates said nothing, his gaze locked on Felix as the young man began his story.

"Ten years ago, Polaris faced an economic collapse. Every business under your sect's name suffered devastating losses, and the sect itself was on the verge of ruin.

"Fortunately, your leadership came up with a solution-a business venture so profitable and low-cost that it saved Polaris from destruction."

Yates frowned, his unease growing. Though he had not interfered with sect affairs in years, he was beginning to sense where this was going

"This venture," Felix continued, his tone darkening, "wasn't something just anyone do. It required you to abandon any trace of morality, to sell your humanity for profit."

At this point, Yates sensed something was terribly wrong. He barked at the other elders present, "What exactly did you do?"

Though he was the Supreme Elder, he had been too focused on breaking through the Oceanus Realm to pay attention to the sect's affairs.

Felix answered him as his voice filled with rage and his eyes turned red, "In the past ten years, 215 children, aged four to eight, died in Polaris' secret laboratories."
