The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Husband 629
Chapter 629
Sitting on the couch was Asher from the Greene family, which explained Felix's harsh words.
"Whether I die or not has nothing to do with you."
Asher stood up, his eyes burning with anger.
"I don't care. You're the last bloodline left of Uncle Victor. As long as there's even a shred of hope, I won't just watch you throw your life away."
Felix made a gesture, signaling Asher to continue, but said nothing.
"Humph! You have no idea just how terrifying Aiden is. I'll tell you one thing. You must give whatever he wants to him within the set time, or you'll truly die. And it will be a slow, agonizing death."
Asher knew Felix well enough to understand that he likely dismissed Aiden's warning, which was why he had come personally to Canraville. He could never repay Victor's kindness, so he should at least try to do it through Felix. Still, Felix remained silent, even opening the door as if to indicate the conversation was
over.
As Asher stepped toward the door, he paused, leaving one last remark. "When Aiden was ten years old, he had already reached Innate Realm. I hope you understand what that means."
With that, Asher left, and Felix's gaze darkened. The last words had caught his attention. If what Asher said was true, then Aiden truly possessed a rare, unparalleled talent.
If news of a ten-year-old reaching Innate Realm spread, it would leave many seasoned martial artists feeling utterly defeated. Their years of effort would seem meaningless in comparison. "Aiden Greene? We'll see."
Even if Aiden asked for anything aside from the Dragonspine given by Victor that Felix had absorbed, he wasn't going to hand over anything to him. Did Aiden think he was some kind of king, making demands and requests? However, Felix didn't feel much animosity toward Asher. He could tell his intentions were purely driven by his loyalty to Victor. No matter how he looked at it, Asher's heart was in the right place.
The next morning, Jeffrey walked into the villa with tacos, pizza, and coffee. It was the

breakfast that Felix had asked him to buy. Since he had called him over, it only made sense to bring breakfast along, too.
"Eat up," Felix said.
"I've already eaten," Jeffrey said, waving his hand.
When Felix finished his meal, he let out a satisfied burp.
"If I had known you weren't going to eat, I wouldn't have asked you to buy so much. Now, I'm stuffed. Anyway, let's get to the point. Did Rosalyn send you?"
Jeffrey nodded with a wry smile. "Yeah. I know her grandfather's request was unreasonable, and you have every right to be angry! However, Rosalyn convinced her grandfather to agree after one night. So, could you give them another chance?" After a moment of thought, Felix held up a finger.
"Tell the Ruby family to prepare one hundred million dollars, a luxurious villa in Aleshire in a prime location, and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan. If they agree to that, I'll treat her."
Jeffrey let out a sigh of relief. For most families such a fee would be astronomical, but for the Ruby family, it was a small price to pay.
"Alright. I'll contact Rosalyn now. Thank you for giving us another chance."
As expected, Rowan agreed immediately.
"Tell me the truth. The Ruby family sought out other master healers to examine Rosalyn, right? Otherwise, her grandfather wouldn't have changed his mind overnight.
In response, Jeffrey awkwardly scratched his nose. "Wow! You're really smart. Yes. They have consulted Dr. Cane, and his diagnosis was the same as yours. I hope you don't take offense to this. Rosalyn had no say in the matter." Felix wasn't offended. After all, it concerned the Dragonspine, which only Rowan had a say
