The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
With Husband 689
Chapter 689
The Twinshade Body? Felix scoured his mind but couldn't find any information about it, so he had no choice but to admit, "I've never heard of it."
Silas was visibly disappointed, and he stopped himself from saying more.
Rising to his feet, Silas said, "Just hold on for a few more days. I've been trying to find a solution, and I've already contacted Lemuel. He's promised to give me an answer soon. I can only ask for your patience for now." As he spoke, Silas unexpectedly bowed, which startled Felix.
Felix asked, "What are you doing, sir?"
Silas wayed his hand. "This is something my apprentice and I owe you. It has nothing to do with you. You're a victim in all of this. I'm already very grateful that you respect me. Once I have the results, I'll contact you right away." With that, Silas left, leaving Felix feeling unsettled and anxious.
It kind of felt like when a beautiful woman had stirred him up to the point of burning with desire, only to tell him that she couldn't proceed because she was on her period.
Even though Silas hadn't explained what the Twinshade Body was, Felix felt even more troubled now.
After some thought, Felix gave Seven a call.
"Have your employer call me back," he said.
Although it went against Gerald's instructions, Felix couldn't care less at this critical
moment.
Within a few minutes, Averill returned the call. "Felix, are you calling me because you miss me too much?"
Felix had long since built up resistance to Averill's teasing, so he got straight to the point. Averill, please have Mr. Hoffman call me back as soon as possible. I have an urgent matter I need to consult him about."
If even Gerald Hoffman, the miracle doctor, didn't know about the Twinshade Body or lacked a solution, Felix knew that no one else would have the answers.
Upon sensing Felix's urgency, Averill immediately said, "Alright, wait a moment."
Gerald had always emphasized that while he could guide his apprentices, their cultivation was up to them. Once they left him, everything was their own responsibility.
All of Felix's fellow apprentices had gone through this process, so Felix wouldn't be an

exception. In fact, even if he were to die, it would be because of his own lack of skill. Relying solely on his sect would never allow him to truly grow. However, Felix also understood that Gerald was a reasonable person. Despite his often nonchalant attitude, he wouldn't get angry in such situations. A short while later, Felix received a call from an unfamiliar number.
"What's so urgent, you little brat?"
Felix let out a sigh of relief. "Mr. Hoffman, have you ever heard of the Twinshade Body?"
Gerald's tone clearly changed after hearing that "Why are you bringing this up?"
Although he replied with a question, it was clear that Gerald knew about it.
"Silas' apprentice is named Zara. She seems to have the Twinshade Body, but Silas didn't explain it to me, so I wanted to ask you."
There was a long sigh from the other end of the phone, which shocked Felix.
"The Twinshade Body is a special constitution for martial artists. There's a 90% chance that once the body fully erupts, both the righteous and evil factions need to work together to eliminate them."
Righteous and evil factions? What did that mean? Not just the righteous side, but even the evil sects? That sounded too strange to Felix.
"During the Era of King Arthur, someone with the Twinshade Body wiped out six sects in a single night after their body fully erupted. A total of three righteous sects and three evil sects were annihilated. They didn't even spare infants or dogs. It was a complete massacre.
