Chapter 715

At the Tranquil Clinic, a man walked in.

"How can I help you today?" Melissa greeted him but immediately felt something was off. The visitor's gaze wandered shamelessly over her body. Even though she was fully dressed, she felt an urge to cover herself with her arms.

"You fatso! What's wrong with you? What the hell are you looking at? Get out!" Melissa was not one to hide her feelings. Even if the fat man was actually sick, she would not be polite since he was being way too inappropriate. The man cleared his throat and finally looked away. "Is Felix here? I'm his brother!"

Brother? Melissa was startled and quickly changed her attitude. "Oh, you're my boss' brother! Please, come in."

Just then, Fèlix's voice rang out, "Like hell he is!"

After just coming out of the bathroom, Felix was instantly annoyed when he heard those words. When he saw it was actually Billy, the supervisor from Sixview Peak, he became even more irritated.

"Come on, Felix. I must be a few months older than you. Calling me 'brother' wouldn't hurt, right?" Billy made himself at home as he plopped down in a chair. He then said to Melissa with a smile, "Sweetie, get me some tea. It has to be exactly 176 degrees Fahrenheit -no hotter, no cooler."

After seeing Felix's outburst, Melissa was not about to be nice. "Make it yourself!"

She left the clinic after a signal from Felix. This fat guy was too annoying to be around.

"Get to the point. You must've gone through some trouble to find me here,' Felix said.

Billy pouted, looking dissatisfied. "Last time, I left in a hurry and only remembered to con you out of money-I mean, introduce you to our products. My name is Billy Stefan."

Felix almost spit out his water. The man's formal name seemed quite a contrast to his appearance. "What do you really want?"

Crossing his legs, Billy wore a huge grin. "Did you think I wanted to come? My mentor gave me a task to become friends with you. Though you're way out of my league, I still had to show up to complete the assignment."

Friends? Felix could not be bothered with this guy anymore. Not a single honest word had come out of his mouth.

"As a friendship gift, here's some news. Earlier, a powerful old man was watching you from outside for quite a while. He's gone now.'

Chapter 715

Felix's expression changed. If Billy wasn't lying, there were only two possibilities. Either the Elders' Council was stirring up trouble again, or-what he feared most-someone from the Jacobs family who could access the Scarlet Thread had tracked him to Gray City and had been close enough to sense him.

That night, Clement entered a restaurant in Gray City wearing formal attire. Felix's willingness to help might be his last chance.
