The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 732

Felix felt speechless. "I said, as long as you're willing to help, in addition to the agreed dojo, you'll also get a chance to dine with Dreamscape."
After receiving confirmation, Billy patted his chest and said, "Humph! Don't insult me with these rewards. As a citizen, cooperating is my duty. Just leave it to me!" "Damn it, Billy!" Felix thought, trying to suppress his irritation.
"Time to work my magic and track down that Skybound Revenant," Billy suddenly said. " Everyone, leave! Phoenix Warlord and Felix, you two stay."
At Alistair's command, everyone quickly evacuated, leaving only the three of them in the
open space.
Felix waved his right hand, sending out a wave of energy to ensure there were no living people around and that the village was empty before signaling Billy to begin.
He was being cautious, worried that a member of Abyssal Surge Sect might still be nearby. But he was probably overthinking it-after all, even the boldest person wouldn't risk staying here for too long.
Billy pulled out a stack of talismans, placing them on the corpses. He then applied more to himself and began chanting some mysterious words under his breath.
"Why do I suddenly feel like he's not as reliable as I thought?" Xena sent a voice transmission, her expression doubtful.
Her doubt was understandable. After all, Billy was acting like a shaman performing a ritual
now.
"Let him do his thing. We just need to wait for the outcomes."
A few minutes later, all the talismans suddenly burst into flames. Felix stood there,
stunned.
He couldn't help but think-if martial arts had been passed down through generations, perhaps other ancient traditions had survived, too.
At the very least, Billy had shown him something unexpected.
If that was the case, there might really be ghosts. Then, the items he had bought from Billy during the Mourning Village and Zara incident would definitely come in handy.
"Alright. Hurry up and find a martial arts master. This yellow talisman is the only thing that can help you track down the Skybound Revenant. But, don't blame me if you can't catch it-Skybound Revenant can fly. "The yellow talisman will guide you to the revenant, but you've only got three days. After

that, the talisman will burn up. If the Skybound Revenant kills again after that, my magic won't work anymore. That thing is really tricky."
Xena took the yellow talisman and rushed out, not bothering to confirm whether it worked
or not.
This was definitely a job for a super martial arts master-no ordinary martial arts master could catch a Skybound Revenant that could fly. "You have my thanks, Billy," Felix said.
Billy smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't mention it. What are friends for? By the way, when can I have that meal with Dreamscape?" Felix's lips twitched. His expression darkened as he slapped Billy's chubby hand away. "I'll arrange it as soon as possible."
Felix thought he could easily brush Billy off, but unfortunately, since Billy had come by taxi, Felix had to endure his endless chatter on the way back. "How about tomorrow?" Billy asked.
"Tomorrow doesn't work. I need to go back to Canraville for my buddy's wedding."
"What about the day after tomorrow?"
"That doesn't work, either. I'll have a cold."
Billy gritted his teeth. "How can you predict you'll catch a cold in two days? You really are the best master healer of all, huh, Felix?"
Just then, Felix's phone rang, offering some relief.
"Don't worry, Jack. I'll be there tomorrow on time," Felix said into the phone.
However, Jack was calling about something else. "Vanessa just called me. She said a super sect is sending someone to attend our wedding tomorrow. I wonder if it might be one of your friends." A super sect?
Felix quickly asked, "What's the name of the sect?"
"Abyssal Surge Sect."
