Chapter 770

"One day, I'll meet him again," Luna said.

Another day passed, and Willow still hadn't responded. However, Felix didn't rush her-these things couldn't be rushed. Whether he was helping sincerely or not, these were truly two different concepts.

Felix didn't open the clinic the whole day. Instead, he hid in a small hotel because the Obsidian Auction was his top priority-nothing else could compare.

When he saw the time, Felix put on the Shadow Mask. It didn't require any sacrifices, and it could be adjusted at will after being worn.

In the end, he settled on the appearance of a middle-aged man who seemed gentle and elegant before heading off to the auction site. There was a holiday villa near the village a couple of miles away from Gray City. That was where the Obsidian Auction was being held. Unlike the Golden Primè Auction, there wasn't a grand hall. Although the hall at the villa was lavishly decorated, it had no VIP rooms. Everyone sat on the chairs below.

As Felix entered the hall, he noticed many others in disguise-some wore masks, while others concealed themselves under cloaks. It was clear that not many of the attendees were willing to

show themselves.

Someone called out, "Asher!"

Not long after that, Felix saw Asher among the people who entered with Aiden. As expected, when it came to an item suspected to be a Dragonspine, the Greene family wouldn't give up easily. The seats weren't more than a few feet apart, providing a reasonable amount of space for the attendees.

Suddenly, a man sat down on the chair to Felix's right. Felix frowned when he saw this. The man turned out to be the fatso, Billy.

Billy turned and met Felix's eyes.

"Tsk! Not bad, kid. How did you get the Shadow Mask? It's no wonder you didn't want to owe me a favor."

Felix was doubtful. He was using the Shadow Mask, but Billy could see through it. How powerful was this guy? Or was it because of the seating arrangement? After all, Billy gave the ticket, so it was possible that he recognized Felix from the seat arrangements. When Billy saw that Felix wasn't replying, he smiled faintly. "Forget it. I know what you're afraid of. Let's pretend we don't know one another," Billy said.

Only local items would be shown first at the Obsidian Auction. No one knew what the other items were, so everyone who came seemed to have strong expectations in their gazes.

However, this excluded Felix and Aiden. They had very clear goals in mind, so why would they be interested in other things?

Finally, the auction began. The auctioneer didn't beat around the bush, saying, "Please bring out the first item!"

A strong man walked out from behind the curtains. He pushed a cart covered with red cloth, which was almost six feet high.

The audience started whispering amongst themselves. They were all wondering what exactly this item was. Why did it feel like a living being, or as it was an item of a considerable size, could the first item be a Master Bomb? Initially, Felix had been indifferent. However, he also became curious. Billy had mentioned that there were many prohibited items that couldn't be auctioned off at other auctions at the Obsidian Auction.

Of course, this made it all the more interesting.

However, in Felix's intrigued state, he failed to notice Billy's subtle smile and the mysterious glint in his eyes. When the man stopped the cart, he moved his hand toward the cloth and pulled off the cloth. When the item was revealed, everyone's jaws seemed to drop open. But Felix, seated in the audience, reacted the most. He clenched his fists and jaw. How was this possible?
