someone.

"What's not right about it? That bone was super rare. Do you think I'd give it up if I didn't have to? Now that the deal's done, I need my property back. Besides, I left my mark on him. He won't get far!"

Ross could only manage a bitter smile, not daring to say more. Though he had blood on his hands, this was his first time pulling something like this. After all, Felix had just saved their lives, and that tip about another Dragonspine was completely made up. Minutes later, they cornered Felix in the forest.

"You seem awfully calm." Dane furrowed his brows.

Felix's reaction was unexpected. The look in his eyes seemed to say he knew they would come.

"Calm? I guess you could say that." Felix shrugged with a smile.

While treating Dane, he had already set things up to make sure he could track this Super S- rank criminal from the Thirteen Aces. But Dane had decided to strike first, living up to his reputation as a criminal who played by his own rules. "Die!" Having reached this point, Dane was done talking and ready to strike.

Two muffled explosions rang out as Dane and Ross hit the ground, completely immobilized.

"Blood Realm? How is this possible?" Dane was shocked to his core. As a master of the Pulse Realm, he would not have dared attack Felix without confidence in his abilities. But Felix had

somehow reached the even more formidable Blood Realm.

"You literally just walked right into my lap, and I don't know how to thank you enough for that."

Before Ross could beg for mercy, Felix killed him with a single strike. Anyone who called Dane "brother" couldn't be trusted.

As for Dane, Felix knocked him unconscious. He needed to hand him over to Xena, especially now that he held the title of Dragon Knight.

When they reached Gray City, Xena stepped out of a car at the entrance to the residential area.

"It really is Dane!" Xena's jaw dropped in disbelief when she saw who Felix was carrying. The Four of Hearts of the Thirteen Aces wasn't someone they could catch easily, yet here he was. "I got lucky."

Xena didn't press further. Results were what mattered, and Dane was worth more alive. "I'll make sure you get credit for this."

Felix shook his head. "No need. Put it under your name. I'm only serving headquarters for six months, so you know merit points don't mean much to me."

Xena opened her mouth but found herself at a loss for words. "Alright. I won't forget this favor."

Their serious conversation took a turn when Felix leaned forward with a grin. He said, "Give me a kiss."

A blush crept across Xena's cheeks as she punched him in the stomach. "How dare you!" Though they were starting to flirt, Felix knew they still needed time to fully rebuild their relationship. He hoped Willow could help bridge that gap. Back home, Nala was out and probably at the clinic. It was perfect as there would be no interruptions while Felix worked on the Dragonspine. With his current abilities, it didn't take long to successfully cultivate it.

One piece at headquarters was practically guaranteed. He had no leads on the other two yet, and he was not foolish enough to trust Ross' information.
