The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 831
Chapter 831
In Gray City, just as Tranquil Clinic was about to lose, a man walked in.
"Sir, you're not here to see a doctor, are you?" Felix asked, looking at the man as he entered.
"I'm Stamford Walter, the seventh elder of Skyward Guild. We've received the message you sent."
With a slight lift of his right hand, Felix said, "You received it and still sent someone here. It seems like the guild isn't what I thought it was."
Stamford got straight to the point. "Thomas died, but he deserved it! However, you've also injured someone of our own-Patrick.
"The sect leader has ordered that if you heal Patrick, everything will be as if it never happened.
In Stamford's eyes, there was no way Felix would refuse. No one wanted to provoke the top guild in Dragonia over this.
However, Felix shook his head. "Perhaps you think this is simple-or are you purposefully ignoring the details? Patrick assisted Thomas in his arrogance and recklessness. If he didn't, do you think that many tragedies would've happened?"
Stamford frowned. "Do you think I'm trying to bargain with you? If you don't heal Patrick, Skyward Guild will press you for an explanation.
The tyranny of the top guild was on full display but Felix wasn't phased. Instead, his gaze became sharper.
"Oh, an explanation? Alright, I'll give you an explanation. I sent the guild a message-not because I'm afraid-but to give you all a chance.
As he spoke, he threw his identity card as a Dragon Knight onto the table.
"Thomas has committed numerous crimes. With all the evidence and witnesses, I had every right to kill him. Or would you like the headquarters to investigate to see if you're also involved?"

When Stamford looked at Felix's identification, he narrowed his eyes. He never would've thought that Felix was also a Dragon Knight!
When it came to the headquarters, it wasn't something that he, as an elder, could make a decision on.
"You must be kidding, Mr. Zeller. Skyward Guild is well-known for being a law-abiding guild. We are friends with the elders of the headquarters.
"How could we break the law knowingly? Since you said that Thomas was involved, then he deserves his fate. I apologize for bothering you. Goodbye."

Felix sneered. Why would he make Selmer deliver a message to Skyward Guild if he wasn't prepared? Even if they had great influence, Skyward Guild still had to think carefully despite their reputation. Thomas would've continued running rampant if Tammy hadn't had Felix's support. Such a bastard would be a great threat to the people-even if it were just one more day.
There were probably other people like Thomas in Dragonia
"Mr. Zeller, should I go?" Selmer volunteered.
However, Felix quickly rejected the idea. "No, I'll go see what's going on."
A middle-aged man stood across the street. When Stamford left, the man continued staring at the clinic. His gaze was fixated on Felix, blatantly provoking him.
If Felix hadn't given the order, Selmer would've gone over to deal with him. How could a mere martial artist who just entered the Pulse Realm act so arrogantly?
Felix entered the alley beside the clinic. The middle-aged man followed closely with no attempts to hide.
"Who sent you?" Felix asked.
The man's expression remained indifferent as he said, "You don't need to know this."
Immediately, the man launched an attack. Maybe because he was in the city, but he wasn't using his full strength-let alone powerful moves. After all, a martial artist who entered the Pulse Realm was incredibly strong. He might even blow up the alleyway if he really let loose his strength.
With a bang, Felix threw one punch at him. With just one punch, the middle-aged man started coughing up blood.
The man's eyes were full of disbelief as he stared at Felix.
