The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 86
Chapter 86
A smile appeared on Felix's face as he said, "There's no need for that. Knowing your good character, you'll surely raise your daughter to become someone who can contribute to her country well. That'll be the best repayment."
At the same time as he left, a woman stood before a huge floor-to-ceiling window in a room elsewhere. The view of her figure from behind alone was enough to make one's imagination go wild.
Someone entered the room and spoke up at once. "Miss, we've just received news that the DNA you've been searching for has been found in one of Avesburgh's hospital's databases."
The woman didn't look back at the former, nor did she turn around. Only her slight chuckle filled the air. "Is that so? It seems that when there's a will, there's a way."
"But, miss, even the Zeller family has given up. Why are you still putting in so much effort to search for it?"
After a brief silence, the woman's voice rang out again. "He's my fiancé, after all. Wouldn't he find his life a little less fun without seeing me? Have Yvonne Cooper scout out the scene in Avesburgh first. I'll go there in person when I have the time in the future." "Understood."
At sunset, Jordan stood before Wesley with slight trepidation. The two were in a suite at a five-star hotel in Avesburgh.
"Mr. Cane, am I really qualified enough to meet the apprentice of the miracle doctor?" Jordan asked, trembling with excitement.
Wesley had brought him to Avesburgh before revealing why they had gone there.
It turned out that someone was so ill that even Wesley couldn't do anything about it. In the end, Wesley had no choice but to call in the favor owed to his ancestors by the miracle
doctor.
Only then did he come to Avesburgh. Yet, he was surprised that the miracle doctor wasn't there. Instead, the miracle doctor's apprentice would help with the favor.
Wesley could receive such aid because he shared his ancestors' bloodline. So, it was understandable that the miracle doctor agreed to help.
Wesley dared not invite others without getting permission from the miracle doctor first. However, things were different now. He voiced "Yeah. I'm a little confused, too. The apprentice himself called me and asked to bring you along so you could learn a thing or two." EBONDS

Jordan straightened his back upon hearing that. "I'll do you proud and not disgrace your name, Mr. Cane!"
Such an opportunity was more important than anything to any traditional medicine practitioner.
"Remember. This apprentice is either of similar age as you or younger. Make sure not to show contempt or be judgmental toward him just because of it."
"Don't worry, Mr. Cane. I know better than to do that," Jordan answered.
They were meeting the miracle doctor's apprentice, after all. Why would the apprentice's age matter? The person's title alone was worthy of commanding respect.
"Oh, right, Mr. Cane. I have a favor to ask. It's about="
Wesley raised his hand to interrupt before Jordan could finish speaking. "I know you're hoping to ask the apprentice to help Xena's grandfather, but you don't have the right to."
Jordan chuckled bitterly but wasn't upset. Instead, he found the explanation reasonable since the gap between him and the apprentice was truly colossal.
"But I'll bring it up to the apprentice after he completes this treatment. At the very least, you'd be doing the best you can for Xena, regardless of whether we successfully get the apprentice's help."
Jordan was contented enough upon hearing that from Wesley. After all, nobody knew the miracle doctor's apprentice, much less the latter's temperament.
"Joe, you should reel it in now. Devoting your full focus to one woman will affect future achievements, and you won't live up to my expectations." your
Jordan was about to say something when the doorbell rang.
Wesley hurriedly stood and went to the door with Jordan close in tow. They knew the miracle doctor's mysterious apprentice had arrived.
Once Wesley opened the door, he smiled and said, "We appreciate you coming all this way, Dr. Zeller. You have my gratitude."
Jordan wanted to greet the apprentice with the utmost respect. Yet, he stiffened like a statue once he saw the latter. He wondered if it was a hallucination because the person outside the door was undoubtedly Felix.
