The Ryland Boys
Chapter 34

“No she’s not doing it.” Benson said shaking his head as he poured himself some orange juice.

I sat at the small stool laughing “I really don’t mind.” I said watching them laugh “Yeah, no Norah, you aren’t.” I eyed Mason who shook his head agreeing.

Lindsay shrugged shoving strawberries in her mouth, “I don’t get why it’s such a big deal, it’s for charity. Do you know how many people will most likely just bid on her to babysit their kids?” She asked eyeing Benson and Mason.

Jax took a bite of his breakfast burrito and watched his dad look uncomfortable.

“I’ll be safe, plus I’ll leave my location on so you can find me. It’s just to help.” I said watching him sigh and nod “Fine. But I’m sending Jax with you when you go.”

Lindsay scoffed “He might be busy. Our weddings in two weeks.” She said giving me a glare.

Jax stayed quiet and finished his burrito seeming annoyed and bored.

“We’ll come up with something. Great, I’ll let Amber know.” Alison said hurrying out the door before stopping and popping her head back in “Can I use one of your hot photos to help bring people in?” She asked me.

I nodded “The uh flash drives in the drawer by my bed.” I said watching her nod and hurry out the door.

Lindsay stared at him confused. Oh she thought he still had it.

Well he kept copies on his laptop but the flash drive was safe and sound back in my drawer.

Mason grinned and I gave him a small shove “Don’t think about it. I’m still cringing at the thought of you jacking off to my poster.” I said watching him smirk.

He leaned forward “Gotta keep it hidden though, don’t need Amanda catching me.” He said laughing.

I cringed again and pushed my plate of pancakes away, “Mason return the poster to Norah.” Benson said reading the newspaper before walking out the kitchen.

Mason scoffed “Why do I have to give it away? J-” he shut up and I smirked at him watching him eye Jax annoyed.

Lindsay leaned over “Oh and don’t worry Mason. Jax is returning the one he’s got too.” She said staring up at him “Right baby?” She sounding threatening.

He nodded “Whatever you say dear.” He said taking another bite of the burrito.

My heart kind of hurt to know he’d be returning my poster.

“Wait, So you both have one and I don’t?” Carter asked scowling at the brothers.

I smirked “Now no one but me and Manny will have them.” I said firmly.

Mason sighed “I’m just going to steal it back. I might actually just steal Jax’s, that one was…damn. He really knew which one to pick.” He said making the air more tense than it needed to be.

Jax stared at Mason and they caught eyes before he looked away. Someone’s agitated.

“Yes! Awesome okay you got the photos? I only sent out three because I can’t send her sexier ones, kids and all.” Alison said walking in and grabbing a cup filling it with coffee.

“Amazing! So excited and yes Mason and Carter are still up to be auctioned.” She eyed the boys.

“Oh no, not Jax.” She said shaking her head.

“I already told you, Lindsay doesn’t want him to.” She replied as if we weren’t right in front of her.

She stared at me as she processed what she said “No, I already know.” She sighed, “Fine..” she mumbled.

She moved the phone to her chest “Lindsay, if Jax doesn’t join there will be a lot of upset woman. Maybe some no shows.” She said c*****g an eyebrow at Lindsay.

Lindsay scoffed “That’s my fault? Good. Old cougars and their desire for young men grossed me out.” She said cringing.

I leaned forward “Did you need a guy?” I asked her watching as she eyed me carefully and nodded “There’s always that Cory guy. He’s handsome just annoying.” I said staring at Lindsay “He’s your neighbor right?” I asked her watching her smug face stare at me in fear and hatred.

She nodded “Yeah. He is.” She said.

I smiled “Great, have him fill Jax’s place. That way you aren’t hated by everyone when we go. You at least saved the day after you destroyed it.” I said watching her nod and pull her phone out “Right. Okay. I’ll get on it.” She held a tight smile.

Staring at Alison, I c****d an eyebrow and watched her smile “I think I have someone to fill his place. Won’t be easy and he won’t be able to fill the gap but he’s at least good looking.” She said.

I watched Lindsay call and then ask before she said “Oh, okay. Well it’s tomorrow night. Yeah. Just arrive at the Bellami Estate at around five.” She hung up and nodded to Alison.

“Oh great okay, nice save.” She said to Lindsay before hurrying out the door.

Benson walked back in and eyed Mason, “Go return the poster.” He repeated putting his cup in the sink and dialing a number.

Mason eyed his last piece of bacon before mumbling and going out the kitchen shoving Carter who shoved him back turning it to a chase.

Lindsay smiled over at Jax “Now you should go return the other poster.” She said watching him nod and get up leaving the kitchen.

Like a damn robot, slave or dog.

She watched him walk out before she glared at me, “Why aren’t you saying anything yet? You’re literally the most aggravating person alive.” She said low.

I smiled, “Better than being the dumbest. I won’t let you have your happy ending Lindsay, you don’t deserve one.” I said giving her a wink and heading out the kitchen leaving her pissed off and scared.

Going to my room, I pulled on a tight black dress and a pair of heels doing my hair and makeup.

A knock came to the door and I called to it “Open!” I heard it open and gave myself one last look in the mirror before going to the bedroom.

Mason walked in tossing the poster to the bed, I watched him sigh and then look over at me, his jaw dropping.

“Norah.” He said low.

I smirked and gave a turn, “Do I look ready to steal hearts?” I asked him watching as he nodded with a look of amazement on his face.

“Holy shit.” Jax said swallowing and looking me over.

He placed the poster to the bed and I smiled “Where the hell are you going looking like that?” Mason asked crossing his arms over his chest.

I grabbed the alligator clutch filling it, “To a club. Maybe to a couple high class places too. Anywhere that there’s drop dead gorgeous woman. Anywhere that I can find Rich, Horny and beautiful woman.” I said specifically.

Mason eyed me curiously while Jax was still busy checking me out, “Do I want to know why? Did you just magically decide to have a Sugga momma?” He asked staring at Jax for back up and then watching him eye me before looking at him like a weirdo and then stare back at me.

“Don’t worry Mason. I’m still Norah.” I said grabbing the two rolled up posters and tossing them in the fire place lighting a match and watching them burn until they ashed and the fire went out.

Smiling over at the guys, I pat Masons cheek, and headed out the door.

I am going to go find the sexiest, most irresistible woman, and tell them to come to the auction. When they see Cory, I’m sure they’ll bid on him. If I didn’t know how much of a douche he was, I’d have bet on him.

Hopefully, he falls for one and then I’ll watch Lindsay’s little happy ever after crumble like mine did.

“Really? I couldn’t tell, you’re absolutely stunning and it looks so flawless.” I said sipping on my sixth martini while the drop dead gorgeous blonde in front of me felt her nose.

She blushed, “So you’re just here to pick up straight girls for a charity auction?” She asked laughing.

I nodded “Yeah, I’ve already got about thirty woman. Some even signed up to be auctioned off for the night. By all means if you’d like to, I’m sure men would pay tons to be with you for a night.” I said laughing and watching her roll her eyes, “Oh yeah totally.”

She reminded me a bit of Lindsay, very rude and full of herself, dark eye makeup and blonde hair. She even had a similar body, bigger breast but a nice body still.

I bought her another drink, “There’s this one guy being auctioned off, he’s a babe. Like real hot.” I said laughing and watching her stare in amusement, “Package size?” She asked.

I remembered kneeing it, “Pretty big.” I laughed and she smirked “Then I’m in.” She said shaking my hand.

“I’m exhausted and a little drunk.” I said laughing on the phone.

Leaning up against the club doors, I realized it’s already five and I’ve been out all day. If Cory doesn’t end up with one of these girls, I’m going to literally kill the guy.

“I’m almost there.” Alison said laughing and then shouting at Mason to stop yelling.

The truck pulled up to the front and I smiled getting into the passenger seat and smiling back at Mason who was grinning “I’m going to guess you got some real hot chicks.” He said laughing.

I held a thumbs up and nodded.

“Why’s Mason here?” I asked looking at him again with confusion this time.

Alison waved him off, “I’m taking him to his practice. He’s going to sleep at one of the guys houses tonight so it’s carpool time.” She said pushing his foot off the middle console.

He smirked.

We arrived at one of the mansions and he got out giving me a look over, “I have to pee.” I said laughing and looking to Alison.

She nodded “Oh, Mason take her inside to pee.” She said and I got out the car walking to the door with Mason.

He walked me inside the massive home and I eyed the loud shouting that came from a close by room “Bathrooms down that hall and to the right.” He said.

I nodded and headed off to the restroom, shutting the door I locked it and peed out the stupid liquor.

After finishing and washing my hands, I fixed my hair and checked my dress walking out the bathroom and stopping at the face in front of mine.

He stared down at me and quickly looked away and moved past me in fear.

The bathroom door shut behind me and I smirked, guess he learned to never try and rape me again.

Damn, Jax really did a toll on him.

Going down the hall, I felt someone watching me and turned around screaming.

Smacking Masons arm I scowled at him, “Why do you always do that?!” I asked watching as everyone came running from the other room.

“A girl?” One asked causing me to laugh and look to them annoyed with Mason.

They all smiled “Norah!” Nick said grinning.

Oh god Nicks here.

The whole team is actually.

“Yeah, hi, sorry I drank too much. Had to pee. I’m good now. Goodnight.” I said giving Mason a small shove before walking past them to the front door.

Mason whistled and I c****d an eyebrow at him, “Oh, if any of you want to join the charity auction, know that I’ve got thirty three beautiful and I mean-I’d go lesbian for them, gorgeous woman with loads of money and a need for a good one night stand.” I said but then turned back around and smirked at them “Bring your wallets, some are being auctioned off for a date.” I added.

Nick grinned “You going to be auctioned?” He asked.

I laughed “Let Mason fill you in on how that would be a complete waste of your money.” I waved bye and headed through the door shutting it behind me and going to the car.

Getting in, I smiled at Alison. “You got me twenty six beautiful woman in one night. I don’t understand.” She said laughing.

I smirked “I’ve got an idea.” I replied.

“Does this have anything to do with the fact that Cory is in the charity auction?” She asked curiously.

I nodded, “It has everything to do with that. I’m going to ruin her happy little life that she’s so obsessed with, so willing to toss Jax aside for.” I said aggravated.

Alison shrugged “Okay I mean I can see how this might work.” She nodded.

I sat back, “It’ll work. I promise this wedding won’t happen.” I said calmly.

She nodded “But the baby…” she said.

I eyed Alison, “Thats not Jax’s baby, it’s Cory’s. Trust me this is going to kill him if he hears it all at once. It has to be slow and torn piece by piece. Like unthreading, it cant be yanked open.” I said watching her nod and look sad.

“I’ll be there to pick Jax back up and make him happy, I promise. The good thing about me, is that I’d die for your son, I’ve got my own money and I eat meat.” I said laughing and watching her laugh lightly before smiling at me.

She pondered, “Is Amanda good?” She asked out of the blue.

I nodded, “Wealthy family, kind hearted, very loyal and she loves basketball. She’s the one who always tells me to keep pursuing my goals. She’ll be great for Mason.” I thought on it and looked her over “Plus she has experience with depression. She’ll know if he’s depressed before anyone else. She lost her brother to it and always looks for it in people. She brings sunshine where she goes.” I said smiling softly.

Alison smirked “If you trust her, I trust her.” She sighed.

Good.
