Chapter 44 (The End)

ONE YEAR LATER.

“Babe did you make sure to pack-“

“The extra bottles are in the bag, there’s extra dog food for Sasha right by her bedside, the diapers and wipes are in, the pacifier and the extra one in case she drops it, the blanket, three extra outfits and everything’s locked.” Jax said smiling down at me as he took the car seat from my hand kissing my lips as he lifted Jenna locking the car seat into the truck.

Going to the passenger seat, I got in and Jax checked the car seat twice before walking to the front and getting in.

Running my hand over my baby belly, I looked over at Jax who reached a hand over rubbing my belly and smiling.

We wasted no time for baby number two.

“Is Amanda coming with Mason?” He asked making the turn and focusing on the road.

He’s very aware of his surroundings after Jenna was born, he’s an amazing dad and an amazing husband.

He’s perfect.

“Yeah they’re going to be there before us, and Tyra said Carter and her are already there.” I eyed my phone and then dropped it back into the diaper bag.

We pulled up to the field and I got out taking the baby bag as Jax got Jenna.

Lucas stood beside Alison as she adjusted his uniform. He looked over at us and I lifted my sunglasses over my head smiling as he ran over and hugged me. “She looks so cute and sleepy.” Lucas said staring at Jenna like she was a puppy.

I smirked and hugged Alison and Benson sitting beside them on one of the benches.

Jax put Jenna behind me pulling the top over to keep her from the sunlight.

“Hey.” He said hugging his mom and dad and waving to Carter and Tyra.

Looking to the opposing team, I watched their small bodies run along the field.

Lucas gave us all high fives before going down to the field. This will be his twenty seventh game and he’s won twenty. He’s the MVP and one of the greatest young football players in the city.

(Its just the start.)

Amanda came over and sat behind us by Jenna smiling at Jenna and waving to everyone. She’s obsessed with Jenna, I think she’s waiting for Mason to pop the question so she start popping her own babies out.

“Hey Mase.” I said giving him a hug and watching him wave to the others sitting beside Amanda.

Amanda sighed “Sorry we’re late, there was some crazy car chase. I guess it’s that uh Lana girl? I’m surprised they haven’t caught her.” She said but dropped her frown when she looked to Jenna.

Mason stared down at Jenna’s sleeping face, “Awe my niece is going to break so many hearts. Then uncle Mason is going to tear their heads off their shoulders for even looking her way.” He said softly.

I laughed and watched Jax grin, “I’m sure once she says her dads Jax Ryland we’ll be good.” I said watching Mason nod.

Jax had his last fight last month, he is a world champion thanks to the help of Moris and he decided to retire and do coaching instead.

He’s been teaching young teens how to become great fighters all while bringing in millions from his work.

It took him a year and he made it at such a young age shocking so many, they’ll be talking about him for years.

I gave up teaching to raise my own kids and I don’t regret a single moment of it. Ive done a lot of maternity shoots and then photo shoots with Jenna for catalogs and magazines.

Being the world champions wife meant there was some fame, I was requested by magazines and I didn’t mind.

“Come on Lucas!” Carter shouted loudly, I looked back at Jenna and Amanda brought her little blanket over her ears to muffle the screams and cheering.

Lucas ran out there giving us all a tiny thumbs up before the whistle blew and he killed the game.

When he finished, they won by two touch downs and thanks to Lucas’s practice runs with me, he’s as quick as a cheetah too.

He got another trophy for his shelf and they lifted him over their shoulder cheering him on.

I’m more than proud of him, I’m the proudest.

We took the whole team to their favorite burger place and they all tried to talk to Jenna who was awake and laughing at them.

She was so sweet.

Amanda leaned in and placed her hand on the table.

I looked down at it gasping and then looking at her confused. She sat between me and Lucas and whispered “Last night he took me to this gorgeous vineyard, we had wine and champagne and it was like little Italy! Then he popped the question. And of course, I said yes!” She whisper shouted.

Smiling widely, I looked to Mason across the table smirking.

Jax leaned in “Congrats Amanda, I’m proud to call you my sister.” He said low and laughing.

She smiled and hugged him while I realized, “You’re going to be my sister.” I said smiling.

Amanda smirked, “Hell yeah I am.” She kissed my cheek and went to Mason letting me reminisce on the time Jax proposed.

The sweet proposal.

He took me to the most stunning beach, red tulips spilt all over the sand, our own candle lit dinner set up and a ring so big it blinded me.

I’ve gotten used to the rings very sparkly attributes.

The wedding was soft and sweet, just a handful of people in the same church my parents married at. We combined our bachelor party and had male and female strippers (it was hilarious) and wound up having s*x that night in the same hotel, producing baby number two.

As for Lindsay, she married Cory and they had their baby and after her parents cut her off, she lives in an old apartment complex with her husband being a deadbeat loser.

Lucas placed a hand over my stomach as he talked to Steven who was on his team, “I’m going to Ireland next month with Norah and Jax.” He said bragging.

I smirked at him and watched him eat a fry while keeping his hand on my stomach.

This time, I’m pregnant with a boy and Lucas is beyond excited, he says he’s going to teach him everything about football.

He’s just excited to be an uncle to another kid.

He thinks it makes him look cool.

Jax ran his hand down my back smiling down at me, I got lost in his smile leaning in and kissing him soft and tender.

Two more k****s and then he told me to make sure I ate.

This was everything I’ve ever wanted.
