Chapter 3012 The Big Dipper Immortals (Part One)

The moment Austin saw the shadow, his face froze.

The shadow was too powerful, continuously emitting terrible aura.

"We need to leave now!"

Austin murmured in a low voice. He then waved his sleeve to roll up everyone. Using the Omnipotent Lightness, they all left without delay.

The shadow seemed to have been formed through light. Although it was just a blur and difficult to make out, its presence alone was terrifying. Even Austin felt a chilling fear in his heart.

Austin's spiritual sense was so sensitive that he knew in the first few seconds that his chances of defeating the shadow was slim to none.

"Where are you all escaping to? Do you know who you have offended? It's the divine gods!"

"Stop running away and accept your punishment!"

The several god's emissaries going after Austin shouted in anger.

Boom!

The shadow sped up with a thundering noise that made the entire surroundings tremble and shake. It sensed Austin’s attempt to escape and it didn't want to let him get away that easily. As it got closer, the waves of energy emanating from it seemed to grab a hold of Austin’s lungs, suffocated him. Everything around him became blurry, spinning out of control. The sky seemed to be falling apart and the earth was collapsing. Every mountain and river within that area turned into gray and the sun and moon went dim as the shadow passed through them.

"Brat, the aura emitted by the shadow of light is much more terrifying than that of the Divine Realm masters.

Fortunately, it seems that the shadow has curbed it to a large extent.”

The Heavenly Majestic Pot warned Austin to move with caution as it came to this realization.

"Yes, it is very powerful. I have a strong feeling that this light shadow has a lot to do with the divine gods in the ancient times.

I've told you before. Anything and anyone that has something to do with the divine gods cannot be underestimated.”

Austin nodded in agreement.

In terms of strength, all the god's emissaries the confronted earlier were merely at the sect ancestor level. Austin could easily kill them with just one strike.

But he didn't expect that they would be able to use some mysterious method to release such a terrifying shadow.

Boom! The piercing and spine-chilling noise coming from the light shadow kept growing louder. The shadow swung its hand to attack Austin from the back, even from a distance. As the high energy swept through the air, miles and miles of mountains down below were flattened, sinking into the numerous abyss formed in its wake. It almost hit its target if Austin didn’t move out of the way in time.

Whoosh!

Austin exerted the Omnipotent Lightness to its extreme mode. Wielding fascinating movements with every step, he soared high up into the sky in a mysterious pattern. In just a few moments, he had crossed the planet's atmosphere and reached the starry skies.

At this moment, a loud noise suddenly resounded from the space above Megrez, one of the stars of the Big Dipper. It sent an overwhelming vibration across the entire starry sky.

"Every meaningless creature that shows no respect for the divine gods must die!"

Then a beam of light thicker than the ridge of a mountain shot out from Megrez, going directly for Austin.

"Shit! This is getting out of hand!"

At this moment, Austin felt a chill creeping up his spine. A sense of danger rose in the bottom of his heart.

The beam of light was moving too fast.

More terrifyingly, after the appearance of the hostile beam of light, the starry sky around him was sealed by a terrible yet mysterious and holy force.

Time, space, all the laws of order between heaven and earth, all the planets, meteorites and dusts in the universe were suddenly frozen in the starry sky. Everything hung motionless in utter silence. It was surreal.

Austin felt as if his body was trapped in a thick swamp. He could not move a single muscle below his neck. With all the energy he had, he tried to move, but the more he struggled, the tighter the swamp engulfed him, making it hard for him to breathe.

"It's much too powerful. I can't break the restriction spell over the space here!"

The gnome had already reached a very high level in his cultivation of spatial power. He concentrated all his attention and energy to initiate it. He used all his secret skills along with the tremendous spatial power to break the sealing power over the space, to no avail. No matter how hard he tried, it always ended in failure.

Suddenly, Austin thought of a magic treasure that hadn't used much, probably never. He waved his hand and took out a dark old wooden ruler.

It was the prize Austin had earned during the test on the Primordial Road.

As soon as the Layne's Ruler emerged from his Space Ring, it was immediately able to sense the abnormal atmosphere in the starry sky. As a natural response, it quickly released a tremendous amount of divine light.

Runes emitting a myriad of ancient auras shot out from the ruler without stopping.

Within moments, Austin could feel that the sealing power over the entire space was broken by the Layne's Ruler. He should have taken it out much earlier and saved him and his team all this trouble. They could have escaped much more easily.

What surprised Austin was that as soon as the Layne's Ruler appeared, the thick beam of light that shot out from Megrez immediately went dead. In its place was nothing but darkness and what used to be a spine-chilling noise was an ear deafening silence.

"Huh, a descendant of Layne? Is this for real?

Yes, I also sensed an aura of that abandoned land."

A voice sounded above Megrez.

Without the noise made by the light beam, it was easy to hear what the voice was saying.

'A descendant of Layne? What was the voice talking about?

Austin looked up and down at the ruler in his hand. He knew that the wooden ruler was the reason the divine god on Megrez stopped his attacks.
