"Is this the bottom of the abyss?"

As Austin reached the bottom of the abyss, he looked around to check the environment.

It surprised him that the pit was bright and sunny. Before coming down, he thought that it was a world of pitch blackness.

In addition to the unexpected sunshine, the bottom of the abyss was vast and boundless.

It seemed to be an independent world that had its own sun, atmosphere, and everything else that a world wound have. It was not the underground world that he had expected, which was usually dark and murky.

Austin explored the area and saw many green mountains around, on which golden waterfalls were scattered like silk threads on a green paper. Peaks shrouded by rising immortal mist soared up into the sky. Tranquil and crystal-clear lakes were also not uncommon in the valleys. An aura of auspiciousness pervaded in every corner of the land along with the warm sunshine that touched his skin.

It looked like a blessed land.

Ahead of Austin was a crowd of people who made a commotion in the serene place. They talked in excitement and let out exclamations of admiration.

Apparently, they were also stunned by the amazing underground world

It was evident that the outsiders who broke into the Divine Being's World did not know how horrifying the Abyss of Darkness was. As they were deceived by the tranquil and beautiful scenery around them, they thought that it was an enchanted fairy land.

If the native residents of the Divine Being's World knew what the outsiders thought about the underground world, they would burst into laughter for their ignorance.

"Search every inch of the this land!

We must find Austin!"

The cultivators from different sects dispersed and started their search. They planned to comb every corner of the underground world until Austin was found.

The people of the Divine Sect, the underworld, the Mu Clan, and the Space Sect had the strongest desire to catch Austin. They wanted to capture Austin immediately and torture him with every conceivable means to vent their resentment.

The four major sects were forces of supreme power in the three thousand big and small worlds. For a long time in the past, they bullied other sects and clans, and no one dared to fight back.

Judging from the aura, it must be left by one of Austin’s companions!"

someone suddenly shouted. The voice came from a hillside ahead.

Austin was startled too. Then, he sneaked into the crowd and followed them to the hill.

The slope was surrounded by a thick red mist.

At the edge of the slope, there were indeed several marks of blood. The crimson color was dazzling under the radiant sunshine.

"It's the blood of Suzie and her brother!"

When he sensed the aura of the blood, Austin could not help but narrow his eyes out of worry. 'This proved that Violet and the others had indeed come here. It was very likely that they hid somewhere in this boundless underground world!" Austin thought.

According to the current situation, however, they might be in danger and might have gotten badly hurt.

The blood indicated that something bad must have happened to Suzie and her brother.

Austin was anxious at that moment.

"Hey, guys, be careful. This little hill seems weird.

Even the whole sprightly environment seems strange to me too. I don't think it's safe here. I feel like something eerie and dangerous is behind this whole thing.

How about we retreat and make another plan?”

a heaven immortal said in distress.

He was from the Space Sect. He had that worried expression on his face ever since they entered the underground world in the abyss. A sense of danger had haunted him from the first minute they set their feet on the mysterious land. He was afraid that something terrible was amongst them.

The sense of danger intensified when he stood in front of the slope that was enveloped in the bizarre red mist.

"Ha-ha! Relax, dude. You have always been so prudent and suspicious of everything. You haven't changed at all these years. Have some balls, for god's sake.

This place is full of thick immortal energy. It is the most suitable place for us to cultivate our martial arts.

Just look at this place! Do you see how beautiful it is? Our Divine Sect has already intended to establish a temporary stronghold here for our people to cultivate after we settle everything,”

a heaven immortal of the Divine Sect said with a fit of laughter.

"Yes, this is a good place for cultivation. We also plan to set up a headquarters here.”

The people of other sects nodded in agreement.

"Oh really? I'm just looking out for you, man. If you don't believe me, be my guest!"

the heaven immortal of the Space Sect replied coldly.

"You said this slope is weird, right? Well, I'll climb it and see what kind of weird things will happen to me!"

the heaven immortal of the Divine Sect mocked the heaven immortal of the Space Sect. As soon as he finished speaking, he ascended the slope with full confidence.

He did not believe what the heaven immortal of the Space Sect had said at all. As a powerful heaven immortal, he did not fear most things.

The heaven immortal of the Divine Sect had walked half way on the little hill, and nothing had happened until then.

"Ha-ha! Well, I'm here now. What was it that you were saying? That this is an eerie and dangerous place?"

the heavenly immortal of the Divine Sect turned around and looked at everybody. He then burst into a sarcastic laughter.

Everyone watched him in sheer silence.

They stared at him and held their breaths. Nobody knew whether something would happen to him or not.

Suddenly, the red mist floating behind the heaven immortal of the Divine Sect quickly condensed into a shadow, in shape of some kind of creature. It stretched out its long scarlet claws towards the heaven immortal in front of it.

"Do you see? Everything's fine. As I've said, you are always too suspicious. If you don't change your skeptical attitude, it will hinder you from achieving greatness," he said to the heaven immortal of the Space Sect with a smiling face as he turned to look at his companions.

"What's wrong? Why are you staring at me like that? Is there something behind me?"

The heaven immortal of the Divine Sect stopped before he could finish his words. He noticed that everyone looked at him in fear as he felt coldness from behind him at the same time.

Then, he turned around slowly. All of a sudden, a pair of long scarlet claws stretched towards his head.

To the heaven immortal's surprise, he had been petrified and was unable to move a muscle. He had lost all his strength and was unable to resist the attack of the unfathomable creature.

Puff!

With a crisp sound, the heaven immortal's head crumbled like a watermelon. His brains and blood splashed everywhere on the hill slope.

Seeing the headless corpse of the heaven immortal falling straight on the ground, everyone else felt a chill run down from their spines.

The shadow of red mist was so horrible. It killed a heaven immortal just in the blink of an eye, and nobody saw how it happened.

It seemed that the monster was at least at the Divine Realm in terms of martial arts!

"Ha-ha-ha!" The shadow let out a diabolical laugh.

Afterwards, it twisted its body creepily and gaped menacingly at the crowd of people at the foot of the hill.

"Retreat!"

At that moment, everyone was scared out of their wits. They used their bodily movement skills instantly and retreated in fluster.

The shadow's skill was so fatal that it killed a heaven immortal with one strike. Nobody dared to provoke it.

Fortunately, the shadow of red mist on the slope did not chase after them.

Austin saw everything that had happened on the slope in the distance. When he saw how the shadow of red mist killed the heaven immortal, he could not help but feel worried.

The blood of Suzie and her brother was found on the slope. It was enough evidence for him that Violet, the Heavenly Majestic Pot, and all his friends must have come there earlier.

In front of such a terrible enemy like the shadow of red mist, he knew that his friends were absolutely no match for it. His mind was in a mess. As he stared at the shadow of red mist on the slope, he wanted to rush over and grab it as soon as possible. He thought of interrogating it about the whereabouts of his friends. However, Austin clearly knew that he was by no means a match for the dreadful monster.

He would certainly be killed if he rushed over in recklessness.

"What is this? Where did this ghost fire come from? Help! Somebody put me out of fire!"

someone cried out of the blue.

Everyone looked at the direction where the voice came from and saw that the body of an earth immortal was ablaze!

However, it was not like any ordinary fire. The flames on his body were green!

There was a ball of green fire in front of him, which came out of nowhere when everybody retreated from the slope. The earth immortal had run into it by accident and was burned in an instant.
