“Are you ignoring your gallery?” Caden asked, noticing the dark circles under her eyes from staying up late.

“You should head back to your gallery.

We don’t really need you here.”

Alicia shot back, “Mr.

Langstaff is doing a better job managing the gallery than I ever did.

I just need to check in now and then.”

Caden mocked her, “Weren’t you the one saying the gallery was your true love? Now you’re ditching it without a second thought.”

Alicia fired back, “Well, this job pays better.

It’s good to be versatile.”

Caden teased, “So you’re here to steal my tricks and plan a coup to take over Blizzard Group in the future?”

Alicia grinned and asked, “Yes! Are you scared?”

“Scared of what? I end up in your grasp every night.

Have you ever caught me scared?”

Realizing what he meant, Alicia flushed and glanced around, relieved that no one was listening.

He truly enjoyed their little cat-and-mouse game.

Caden shrugged and said, “Just find a way to send her home.”

She won’t let us do anything to her.

A few days ago, someone posted a video of her online, and the comments aren’t great.”
