The Werewolf King’s Runaway Queen -
Chapter 83
Alissa's POV
Luke and I walked back to the pack house.
He held my hand like ke always does these days.
We walked to the pack house and went inside to take a rest since we've been roaming around for hours.
No one was in the living room anymore.
Luke and I got water first then we went straight to his room so we could rest.
We got to his room and I flopped down on the bed.
I felt tired and sleepy.
Luke laid down beside me and he pulled me to him so I snuggled closer to him.
Then, the next thing I know, I was off to dreamland.
I opened my eyes to a forest but this one was unfamiliar to me.
I looked around trying to find Quinn but she wasn't here.
I kept walking around until I reached a meadow.
It was stunning with its colorful appearance because of the variety of flowers present.
I walked to the meadow.
Until I stopped when I saw an unfamiliar wolf pop out in the middle from the flowers and grass.
This wolf was white.
Instead of being afraid, I was in awe at how beautiful and elegant it looked.
I went closer to it and it stared at me with it's beautiful golden eyes.
We both stood at a distant as I admired its beautiful form.
Then, it walked over to me and stopped a few feets away from me.
"May I?" asked politely as I reached my arn out.
Then, it came closer and I was able to touch its fur.
It seemed satisfied with my touches and it laid down in front of me so i crouched down to continue caressing her.
Whenever I'd stop, it would gently nudge me making me chuckle.
After a while, it suddenly got up and I got up as well.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
It walked away and I went after it and in the split second that I couldn't see it, it completely disappeared into thin air.
I looked around.
Where did that wolf go?
I kept trying to search for it but didn't find it.
I sighed.
I didn't even get to ask what it's name was.
I decided to stay in the meadow and laid down.
I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I was back in the room.
I looked beside me and Luke was still sleeping so I let him be.
I carefully sat up on the bed, stretched a little then I walked over to the window and opened it.
I inhaled some fresh as I watched an area of Crescent Moon from the window.
Tomorrow morning, I'll watch the guards and warriors train.
Hopefully I'll be able to join them since it would be fun to join other wolves' training every now and then.
I definitely get to learn a pot of things from training with other wolves from other places.
I heard that Crescent Moon also has outstanding guards and warriors.
I just watched by the window and after a few minutes, I decided to find Lia since Luke was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake him.
I went to the direction of Liana's room and saw a pink door with engraved. 'Princess' on it.
I chuckled.
I knocked on that door.
"Who is it?" Lia asked from inside.
"It's me. Alissa" I said.
I heard Lia rushing to open the door and her eyes sparkled when she saw me.
"Finally" she said and hugged me then dragged me inside her room before closing the door again.
"I thought you'd never come and see me" she said pouting.
"Sorry" I apologized and gave her a hug then I looked around her room.
The whole room was colored in pastel pink and the furnitures were white.
"Nice room" I teased.
"What? It's a good change of atmosphere from my room in the palace. I like it" she said and we both sat on her bed.
"So what did you do with my brother while you guys were gone?" sje asked curiously.
"We met and talked more with other pack members and toured the Cresent Moon pack territory" I told her.
"Ooooh. Did you go by the lake platform? Mom and Dad's spot?" she asked.
I nodded.
"Of course. Luke took me there" I said.
"It's such a cute spot. It's where mom and dad usually met up when they were teenagers and all" she said.
I smiled and agreed.
"Yeah. Your brother told me the story" I said.
"It wasn't actually part of the territory originally but since the pack got much larger in size, the territory also expanded" she said and I nodded in understanding.
"It's amazing how Alpha El can lead such a big pack consisting of tens of thousands of wolves in one territory" I said.
"Uncle El learned from the best leaders including my grandpas and mom" she said.
"They are the best" I agreed.
"Oh yeah. Have you visited the kindergarten yet? The pups there are so adorable" she said.
"No, not yet. Maybe we should visit together?" I suggested.
Liana smiled widely as she nodded enthusiastically.
I didn't want her to feel left out whatsoever.
I've been spending a lot of time with Luke since we were catching up but when I can, I give much of my time to Liana as well.
Liana and I ended up chatting about her childhood memories in Crescent Moon. Atleast the ones she hasn't told me about yet. "Oh I almost forgot. How could I forget" she said.
We have a tree house in the woods.
It's Luke, Lucas and I's.
Grandpa built it for us when Lucas and I were like 3 years old.
"We used to play there for the whole day together growing up. I'll take you there later after going to the kindergarten" she said. I nodded.
"Sounds good to me" I said and Lia smiled at me and she suddenly held my hand.
"I'm so glad you're here" she said.
I gently squeezed her hand with a smile.
I am too.
