As I was pregnant, Theo was unwilling to make me work too hard. Hence, the previous plan to let me manage the company was put on hold.

My task for the entire day would be to sleep and eat. It was indeed a blissful life.

"Don't worry, my work isn't going to be delayed." He smiled devilishly and walked out of the study.

I buried my head into his chest. My face was as red as a cherry at the moment.

It was just as Theo had said. He did not take up too much time this time around, but it was still only a little bit shorter than before.

I was still tired and went to sleep in a

daze. While I was half asleep, I felt someone leave a light kiss on my forehead. Taking in whiffs of that familiar smell, I gradually calmed down and it was soon followed by the slight sound of the door Closing. Right afterward, I fell into a deep sleep and no longer knew what was going on.

Early in the morning, my body's biological clock woke me up, and my hands subconsciously touched the side of the bed. It was empty and cold to the touch.
