I sighed. Thinking that I could not let Nicky see it, I crouched down and took it downstairs for Caroline to clean up.

Today, I was almost done with breakfast when I saw Nicky coming downstairs. "Why so late?"

Nicky came to the table with a yawn and a sleepy expression. "I was on the phone with my mother till late yesterday and almost couldn't get up." "Quickly have breakfast."

I heard him sigh obviously, but he
