Molly had goosebumps all over her body. She felt very nervous as she started walking faster to her apartment unit.

However, the person behind her sped up, too, as soon as she tried to walk away from him. That person was getting closer and closer to her!

Molly's hair stood on end. She whipped out her phone, and she was about to call the police for help!

Then, she heard a groaning sound coming from behind.

Two men in black shirts appeared out of nowhere and kicked the man who was sneaking behind Molly!

Then, one of them stepped on the man's fingers with his boots as the man yelled in pain.

Molly was shocked. She turned around anxiously and saw the two bodyguards pinning down the man under the streetlight.

"Ms. May, we were sent by Mr. Anderson to keep you safe! I'm sorry if we startled you."

The two men in black bowed their heads and apologized to Molly.

Molly was still in shock, but it did not take her very long to recollect herself.

'I was being stalked, and Sean sent these two bodyguards to protect me.'

She was immediately relieved. "Thank you so much!"

Molly was terrified.

Molly was just a woman living in this newly built neighborhood alone. It was already so late at night, so who knew what horrible thing would happen if there was no one to keep her safe?

She was glad that Sean sent the bodyguards to protect her.

Molly's heart fluttered while she thought about that...

Then, she wasted no time and took a few big steps toward the man yelling in pain, before she asked condescendingly, "Who are you?"

The man on the ground groaned painfully while stammering, "H-Help..."

The bodyguard stepped on him so hard that his bone could shatter at any moment. He was in so much pain that he could not speak properly.

Molly frowned and threw the bodyguard a glance.

The bodyguard understood what Molly was trying to tell him as he moved his leg away, and the stalker could finally breathe.

However, the stalker gasped and tried to escape as soon as he got up from the ground.

The bodyguard rushed forward and kicked him to the ground again after realizing what he was trying to do.

"Ah!'

The stalker screamed. He felt like all his bones were fractured, and he could not get up anymore.

He grabbed Molly's trousers while lying on the ground and weakly begged," Miss, I'm so sorry. I was just passing by. Please believe me!"

Molly furrowed her brows. She did not believe in the man's nonsense at all. "You were walking silently on purpose, and you were sneaking around behind me. How dare you say that you were just passing by? Looks like we have to do this the hard way!"

Then, she ordered the two bodyguards coldly. "Beat him up. Beat him up until he talks."

"No! Please!"

The stalker was terrified as he begged and cried, "Miss, I just thought that you looked pretty, and I noticed that you're wearing branded clothes. So, I wanted to borrow some money from you. I haven't eaten for a few days. Please, please forgive me."

'I see. He's a mugger."

Molly finally knew what was happening.

Indeed, that neighborhood was a new project in Xesxia, and the houses there were not cheap. Besides, there were not many residents there, so living there alone would really make her an easy target.

Molly heaved a sigh of relief and said to the two bodyguards, "He's a mugger. Please take him away."
