At that time, Heinz came downstairs.

Celeste already expected Heinz and Grace to ask her that.

She also knew that they were there for Cindy and Sinclair then. It seemed like they would take action that time.

She had already thought carefully about it before. She then said, "I was once grateful for Cindy. I am still grateful for her for having taken care of me. However, this doesn't make up for her indirectly causing my mother's death. They are separate matters. However, I think, with both things put together, I can at least say that I don't hate her.

However, she's disrupting our lives and I don't know what she will do to Liam and Maria.

Celeste smiled and spoke up for Gary, "He's actually improved a lot now. He takes care of our feelings. Although his snarky remarks are still there, I know he's a kind person."

Heinz looked at Celeste and nodded. "As expected, only Celeste knows how to appreciate him."

"If Mom is on your side, then naturally Celeste is on my side," Gary's voice could be heard from the stairs. His hair was half dried as he walked down in a cozy outfit.

Celeste's heart fluttered again just by looking at his tall build and his charming appearance.

Heinz glanced at him and said, "We have already reached a mutual agreement here. I'll be meeting with Sinclair tomorrow."

Upon hearing that, Celeste and Gary looked at Heinz.

Grace was also a little surprised. "Are you going to meet him?"

"Of course, I plan to separate them first," Heinz said, "It's easier to deal with them that way. They weren't together to begin with anyway."

"We have Monica's evidence on Cindy, and we can extradite her by then," Gary said, "As for Sinclair, I still haven't gathered enough evidence to send him to jail."

The dinner was sumptuous. After the meal, Heinz and Grace were taking a walk in the garden.

"Is it about the contract with Maria?" Heinz instantly saw through Liam's mind.

Liam was surprised and asked, "How did you know?"

"Isn't it obvious? You are only here in London to be with Maria, aren't you?" Heinz smiled. "I have already talked to Maria's father. In fact, we have no other requests of you, as long as your feelings for Maria are genuine."

Liam nodded immediately. "Of course my feelings are genuine for Maria. I'll treat her well."

Heinz glanced at Grace, and then at Liam before saying, "Liam, I think you've misunderstood my words. I'm not expecting you to stay with Maria forever. By being genuine, I mean that you should treat her well when you love her, and when you no longer have feelings for her, you should be honest with her too. Don't fool around with her."

Liam was taken aback.

He shook his head. "My feelings for Maria are genuine. I'm not joking about it, and I can spend the rest of my life with her. Uncle Jones, I mean my words and I will be responsible. I will never treat her idly. I will never lie to her. I understand where you and Mr. Lowe are coming from. I can't promise much but I can promise you that my feelings for her are genuine.

I will stay honest with her no matter what happens in the future.

That's why I signed the contract and was hoping that you two can help me hand it over to Mr. Lowe later on when you return home."

Heinz nodded. "Sure, I'll pass it along for you."

Only then was Liam at ease. He smiled and said, "I'll return to my room and leave you two alone to take your walk then."

"Go ahead." Heinz nodded.

Liam nodded at him too and left.

Grace turned to Heinz and said, "You scared Liam so much by saying those things that his face turned pale. I can see that he really loves Maria."

"I'm just giving him a reminder," Heinz said, "This is also Zachary's concern. What if Liam isn't genuine in this and even fools Maria around? That'd be horrible."

"I do think that they're truly in love. Look at how close they are. Liam has never moved his gaze away from Maria. He's always following Maria everywhere." Grace recalled the moments where Liam helped Maria to the food at dinner earlier. He was taking great care of her.

His actions were definitely not what one would do when one was fooling around.

It was easy to observe a person's feelings for another from all the details.

Some minor details during their interactions were already evident enough.

"Have you noticed that I've been staring at you too?" Heinz leaned closer to Grace and said in a flirtatious tone, "My gaze and I have always been following you around too all these years. Honey, my feelings are genuine too."
