Chapter 106

Chester’s POV

“I can’t believe that in a few minutes I’ll be seeing a royal trial, I bet is going to be fun…” Julianna said.

As I imagined the other trails I had to sit through, the last thought that came to my mind was fun.

Anyone who was ever to brought to the palace for a trial were people that had offended the royal family or had committed crimes against the entire Kingdom that was so grave that the Alpha King himself and the council along with I the beta and gamma had to handle it.

And the punishments were always severe.

“It’s sad that Scarlett had to take herself down like this. If she had not allowed jealousy to overcome her, then she would have not turned out this way…”

My head fell and I shifted back on my bed. I could feel Julianna’s stare shooting a hole through my head, then I realized that I had made a mistake again. Before she could get up, I pulled her back to myself again.

“I don’t know why you still feel sorry for her after all she did to Koko.” She said to me.

Yes, I hated what she had done, when I imagined the pain that she had put Koko through, it made my b***d boil like a volcano that was about to erupt, but then again it was just pitiful seeing how much she had let herself go by allowing herself to be consumed by greed and envy.

It was hard seeing someone that you knew before turning into a shell of themselves that did not even slightly resemble their former person.

“I guess I just feel too much empathy for her foolishness and the way she had allowed her emotions to control her…”

Julianna rested her head on my chest and immediately my heart started racing without looking at her. I realized that she was probably smiling against my bare chest.

“You know she might be given the death sentence too right? If you’re not up for it you can just say it out…”

I shook my head.

“No, I still have my responsibilities as his Beta, and I cannot begin to show favorites…”

“That’s funny, you don’t show favorites, but I think that maybe for Scarlett you did a little…”

Her fingers then came to my member and squeezed it so hard that I winced a bit.

“You can always tell him that you caught a cold or anything like that…”

She said as she drew circles on my chest running her fingers down my abs. I could feel my friend downstairs beginning to react.

“How did you find out?”

From the way she was talking, I guessed that she already knew what I did before, but I thought that I kept it under the wraps, how did she find out about it?

“Chester, maybe you are forgetting, but I’m actually an investigator and I know you very well, so all I just had to do was pay a little more attention than usual…”

She was still stroking me as she was saying this and I was lost between being aroused and being ashamed of my decision.

“Are you going to tell Niyol about it?”

She squeezed my balls massaging it and taking her time, first separately and then together building up the pressure in them till my member became as hard as steel .

“Are you serious? why would I rat you out to him? Unfortunately for me, you are my favorite and I can’t put you in trouble; but the least I can do is advise you to not do anything like that again. That Scarlet, I don’t trust her not one bit…”

I nodded while adjusting the pillow that was behind my back.

“It’s not as if I trust her either, believe me, but this was practically her dying wish and for whatever we used to have before, I decided to just do this for her out of pity, there is no way she can cause any harm because of that.”

“I hope so, because I have a really bad feeling about this and when I usually have a bad feeling like this, it’s not for nothing.”

After saying that she finally threw off the duvet that was covering both of us.

“Ok, let’s not discuss anything serious, you only have a few hours until morning when the trial will begin, and so let’s make sure to have some fun before then…”

And before I could even suggest anything, she immediately swallowed me whole at her first try and our bodies continued to mold into each other for the rest of the night.

The morning came, but then after telling Niyol the hall was ready, I could not see the Gamma anywhere and he was part of the judging table. I decided to go and personally search for the third in command in the Kingdom by myself.

Then I remembered that Niyol had told me to check up on his sister. She said that she did not want to witness the trial and that she had to take care of her baby Liam too, and so I just needed to go to check and see how she was doing.

I knocked on the door of the room that was given to her in the Palace, but there was no response. I knocked again and still nothing.. then I became worried.

She was supposed to be in her room, or something happened to her? I knocked once again and the only response I received was silence. Finally I could not hold back anymore, then I walked in.

Immediately I did. I regretted my decision because of two things. One; the princess was actually fine and did not need me to check up on her. Two; what I ended up seeing when I actually checked up on her was not something I was supposed to and I quickly moved my head away.

Her legs had been spread out like the wings of the bird, as she sat on the couch with her dress still on, but there was someone’s head inside of her gown between her legs who was lapping her up like a puppy and when they heard me opening the door they immediately jolted and separated from each other.

The Gamma of the Kingdom had juice smeared all over his face only minutes away from the trial, but I couldn’t really blame him. The intensity of a mate bond could make anyone forget their duties at times.

“The trial is about to start in a few minutes Ethan… You should wash up and come soon…”

“Y-yes I will.”

Finally, I marched out of the room, glad to be out of that awkward situation. Before I reached the hall, Ethan had already caught up to me.

“Look, Chester I’m sorry about what happened-“

I held up my hand.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Ethan, nothing happened. The only thing that is going to happen this morning is the trial so let’s just focus on supporting Niyol…”

You could have heard his sigh of relief from a mile away.

“Oh.. okay then.”
