Terrance just raises an eyebrow as he looks at the man.

"Is there something about that that is somehow funny?"

"You don't even understand how hilarious it is"

Terrance looks at Levi's shrugging his shoulders. He has no idea what the man is on about, but he isn't even bothered by a crazy man's rantings.

"That's great. I'm glad I could bring some joy to what is going to be a miserable existence"

"Don't you want to know why I'm laughing?"

Terrence turns to face the man squarely, looking him up and down with a scathing look.

"Frankly, I don't really give a f*ck what a person like you would find funny. The knowledge of what you do in your spare time and what you do to these poor girls. I don't give a f*ck about your opinion. It doesn't matter to me what you find happy, sad or anything in between, because you're a disgusting person whose view does not matter in the slightest"

"If you think I'm such a disgusting person, have you ever wondered if you are cut from the same type of cloth?"

Simon's words earn him another kick this time, not only from Levi, Hudson also lays the boot in and if there was more flesh exposed, they all would have had to go. They have all accepted Terrance into their group. He is nothing like this vile man. "I am nothing like you"

While Terrance has been having a crisis of conscience about what he does, there is no one that he would ever consider himself in the same category as this man.

"Trust me, you will want to know"

Lani looks at Terrance, who is still glaring at the man.

"Did you want me to shut him up?"

"No, I want to hear what he has to say"

Simon looks at the man in front of him, the one he wrote off completely as an infant, he never paid any attention to how he grew up at all, it surprises him to see him alive, it surprises him to see him mixing with this group of powerful werewolves. Simon is counting on a quick death, so can only assume if he airs out all his crimes that one will snap and take him out.

"I just think it is too funny. Do you know how hard I tried to find the man that made the serum? My mate was starting to catch on to my extra circular activities. That is when I heard of a serum that would actually allow the mate bond to dull enough that she wouldn't be able to feel that and ask her incessant questions. I knew nothing about it except that it came out of the stormy pack. I questioned Alpha Storm about it so many times, but he wouldn't give up your name at all"

Terrance's head spins, he thinks he knows where this story is going, but he is desperately hoping it isn't the truth. Simon continues nonchalantly.

"I warned him, I really did, but he wouldn't give it over, so I killed them all. I stood over him, he was surrounded by the bodies of his mate and two children. Unfortunately, one had been missing that day, but I feel like it still had the same effect. He knew that he shouldn't have held out on me like he did. I stood over him, a large piece of glass had lodged in his throat. He still wouldn't give over your name. I put my foot on that piece of glass and pushed it in further, making sure to slice his artery. I watched him bleed out" Terrance's knees shake and Levi rushes to his side in an effort to keep him upright. Simon laughs again and Lani just stares at the man. There is not enough torture in the world, she is going to invent new techniques, that is going to be her new job, just working out how to make Simon hurt.

This man is the one that killed Connor's family? They were killed for a serum?

Simon doesn't look at the others, just looking at Terrance.

"If I had of known that it was Connor that knew, that it was actually Connor that knew the boy that made the serum, I would have made that boy suffer even more. If I knew th at the maker of the serum was actually my own flesh and blood, I wouldn't have had to go to so much effort" Terrance is trying to process all this.

"W..w..what did you say?"

"I said that if I had known that my pathetic son would actually be able to do things I would have actually accepted you. Martha told me that you wouldn't develop any werewolf abilities nor did you have strong magic, so what good were you? My s***m made you, but valueless remains valueless whether DNA is involved or not. Who would have known that you were actually skilled in potions even from such a young age"

Levi's mouth hangs open and he takes Terrance's whole weight as Terrance crumbles at the information. It is more than he can take.

"It can't be true, you are not my father"

Terrance has never heard a single word about his father. His mother never told him a thing. But this? No it couldn't be.

"If I had known you actually had value. Do you know that potions have got me everything that I wanted in life, I have had to get it from so many different sources over the years, and the most skilled potion maker was actually my son, the amount of time and money I spent on such things when I could have just acknowledged the pathetic, useless little bastard son...."

Lani lifts her leg, bringing her foot down, ruthlessly shutting up Simon's filthy mouth. Maybe she should have stopped it before this, but she was as shocked as everyone else and the shock paused all her coherent thoughts. Simon is finally silent, but the silence is deafening. The boys rush over to Terrance to check on him.

Levi has allowed Terrance to go to his knees, he has also sunk down and can only hold him tight. That was a lot for anyone to take in, but every word was aimed at Terrance. It is impossible for him to process that much. Evie holds Leilani back, her voice is barely a whisper.

"Lani?"

Leilani's gaze moves from Terrance as she spins to look at Evie.

"What is it?"

"I am just trying to get my head around something, you said about the photos, Rosalie said about how she ended up here and then you said about the chatroom. I am slightly confused, I feel like I am missing something" "It is nothing serious, it is just the photos that you sent in the chatroom"

"But that is what I am confused about. I don't know what photos you are referring to and I have never been on a chatroom in my entire life"

Lani looks back over her shoulder at Terrance, who is well tended to. She grabs Evie's hand and leads her over to Hudson's laptop, which is sitting on the foldout chair with its lid closed.

Lani sits down on the chair, placing the laptop on her lap and operating it until she pulls up the photos and the chats from Evie.

"When we found Rosalie's laptop we were able to find the chats and from there were able to go back and check on others that the same account had contacted. That is where we found all this"

Evie grips Lani's shoulders as she stares at her face in the photos doing all these wild things that she has never even thought of before. There are videos that play through.

Evie feels faint as she watches, as she sees the conversations that lead up to her capture, looking at all the filthy words and the filthy photos. She thinks back to the black room and half the equipment in that room was what is in these photos. How did she end up in that room that was decorated like that? This is why? All the times that he told her that this was the way she liked it, she never understood. She understands it now. Tears roll down Evie's cheeks.

"Hey it is okay, none of this is your fault"

"This isn't me"

Lani doesn't say anything, just stroking Evie's hand in a soothing manner. Lani closes the laptop lid.

"Evie, what was done to you should have never happened. I am sorry for what you have gone through, but I really want to help you move past all this"

Evie looks at Lani, who looks so understanding, but it really isn't her. Even though the photos are gone, they are still burned in her retinas, just adding to all the other vile images. Lani stands, putting the laptop back on the seat and moving to embrace Evie.

"You are going to be safe now, everything is going to be better"

"I wish I could be strong like you"

Lani steps back and puts her hands on Evie's shoulders, looking her straight in the eyes.

"I wish I could be strong like you. Evie, don't sell yourself short. I would have taken my life a long time ago, there is so much more strength in survival. You are amazing"
