Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1732
“Mommy!” the two children exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with astonished delight as they spotted Ariana awake.
Devin then released the children’s hands and stepped back, bowing courteously toward Holden and Ariana before quietly slipping out of the room, leaving the family to enjoy their privacy.
“Come to Mommy.
” Ariana beckoned, her gaze locked on her precious children, her heart swelling with emotion.
She forgot about the food.
Without hesitation, the children obeyed.
They trotted over to the bed, quickly kicking off their shoes before climbing up to nestle beside Ariana.
“Mommy, are you feeling better?” Melon asked, his voice filled with concern.
Adele remained silent, but the way she clung to Ariana’s hand spoke volumes.
Her tiny fingers tightened, concern evident in her eyes.
Ariana leaned down to plant gentle ki*ses on their foreheads.
“I’m fine, really.
In a few days, I’ll be able to leave the hospital.
Then, we’ll have so much time together doing all the things we love.
How does that sound?”
The children’s faces lit up with joy, their worries melting away as they absorbed their mother’s reassuring words.
They responded in unison, their childish voices brightening the room.
“That’s amazing!”
The children decided to stay the night with their mother.
The ward was warm with the joy of the family.
As the clock hit eleven, the underground parking garage of Mercy Hospital was wrapped in silence.
Mitchel, sitting in his car wearing a slightly wrinkled white shirt, closed his eyes because of the persistent headache.
In the silent car, without any music, the only sound was the soft pattern of his breathing.
The relentless demands of the past few days had drained him, both physically and mentally.
Yet, as the chaos subsided, a strange confusion set in.
It was an odd feeling that always seemed to envelop him after he finished a project.
Suddenly, he thought of Ariana.
Slowly, Mitchel opened his bloodshot eyes, driven by a need to check on Ariana.
He impulsively reached for the door handle and stepped out of the car.
But the thought that Holden might be in Ariana’s ward stopped him.
Given the couple’s recent reunion, they were likely enjoying their renewed connection-a scene he preferred to avoid.
Realizing it wasn’t the right time to intrude, he got inside his car again.
At that moment, the phone on the passenger seat buzzed, its screen lighting up with a notification.
Mitchel retrieved his phone, reading a text from his assistant stating that Ariana was awake and stable.
Feeling relieved, Mitchel put the phone down, started the car, and pulled out of the parking garage’s quiet confines.
In the night sky above Eleymond, stars were few, but the city below shimmered with vibrant Lights.
As Mitchel’s car moved into the road, a cloud of dust trailed behind it.
Mitchel drove aimlessly, not sure where to go.
He finally turned on the radio.
With Christmas Eve approaching, the streets buzzed with holiday cheer.
Merchants eagerly took advantage of the festive season to earn more money.
