Unconscious Husband: Meet Her Love In Silence -
Chapter 1775
Adele was perched on the toilet, saying, “No… I’m fine.
”
Outside, Ariana’s brow furrowed in concern, puzzled over Adele’s sudden discomfort.
The dishes she had ordered for Adele were yet to be served, eliminating the possibility that the food was to blame for Adele’s upset stomach.
Adele’s diet was consistently balanced, with plenty of meats and vegetables-nutritionally rich, which should have staved off any stomach troubles.
Was it because Adele was not wearing enough clothes?
Or maybe the lemonade Adele had sipped earlier had upset her stomach?
A flood of worries cascaded through Ariana’s mind, though she quickly shelved these thoughts.
She was now concerned that Adele would feel anxious alone in the restroom.
To comfort Adele, Ariana kept the conversation going, with Adele responding to her intermittently.
After a long while, the sound of flushing water signaled an end to Adele’s ordeal.
“Adele, are you all set?” Ariana called out.
“I’m coming in.
Are your pants on?”
This time, however, there was no response from Adele.
Ariana felt a knot of anxiety tightening in her chest as she hurried inside the restroom.
She pushed open the cubicle door, only to find no sign of Adele.
A wave of dread washed over her, draining the color from her face.
“Adele!” she shouted, her voice echoing off the tiled walls as she frantically opened each cubicle door.
There was no one there.
Struggling to steady her racing heart, Ariana returned to the cubicle Adele had been in.
It was a cramped space with just one exit.
Ariana had been standing right outside the restroom earlier.
If Adele had left, she would have seen her.
Unless…
Ariana’s gaze flicked to the open window, a chilling realization dawning on her.
A cold sweat broke out on the back of her neck, and her eyes widened with fear.
Someone had used this window to abduct Adele!
But who could it be?
Instantly, Moss came to mind.
Ariana’s breathing grew ragged with anger.
Her nails dug painfully into her palms.
It wasn’t enough for Moss to have taken her son, Melon.
Now, he had audaciously come for her daughter.
Hatred ignited within Ariana.
Without a second thought, she leaped through the window in hot pursuit.
