What Walter did not realize was that Minnie, though clueless about his little test, had done her research to keep her true identity a secret.

She rubbed her chin, pondering for a moment before responding with earnest conviction, "If no one else gives a hoot, then whether it's right or wrong, I say let it go like a leaf in the wind." Walter's eyes sparkled with uncertainty.

Minnie did not know the specifics of Walter's dilemma, but her advice was true to her own style.
