Chapter 45

Joana might have had a hard time finding the ingredients and all, but she sure was happy for the few hours she spent with her new friend, Yin. She was even more excited that she had one of the ingredients now as she and Derick hurried back to the hotel. They would have to wait till it was evening before they would leave the hotel and go back to Beijing, so she was practically stuck with him for another day.

They both flew into the courtyard fast before anyone could see them and entered the room giggling as they were lucky enough that the sun took its time today. Derick locked the door behind them and then they suddenly met each other’s gaze when he turned, none of them could look away as they kept on standing there, staring at each other for a few minutes, then all of a sudden, the excitement that filled the air was replaced with intense passion, the same one they felt when they made love many nights ago.

Derick didn’t know what took him to where she stood, he grabbed her by the waist, and closed the space between them.

“I need you, Joana,” he said desperately. “But I won’t touch you without your consent, no matter how hard it is for me to stay away from you. I need you to agree to it too, I know it’s what you want.”

Joana nodded her head, but Derick wasn’t satisfied with her answer.

“I need you to say it with your mouth Joana, I want to hear it so that I know you really want it.”

Joana sighed. This was a really hard thing to say. Why couldn’t he just read her mind like Dana normally did? She took a deep breath before making an attempt to bring out the words.

“I need you Derick, and I want you to make love to me now, there I said it!” She growled.

Derick laughed, she had Marylin Lou written all over her. Proud but needful.

He continued staring at her before bringing his lips closer to k**s her, she received the k**s with her open lips, using her hands to rub his nape as she enjoyed the pleasure his tongue gave her. He reached for her, lifting her and hoisting her up against his chest before taking a short walk to the bed, carrying her there.

He placed her gently on the bed and watched her smile beneath him as he began to take off his shirt. He then lowered down for her to place her hands on his chest, feeling the warmth even though he was a cold, bloody vampire. Her arms travelled round his chest, exploring his six treasures before reaching up to k**s him again. He took his k****s round her face, her throat and her lips, running his arms into her hair. She felt the softness and warmth of the bed covers at her back as he pushes himself against her so that she’s flattened between him and the sheets.

Tentatively, she placed her hands on his upper arms, and he g****s as she squeezes tightly.

“I want you now. Here… fast, hard, I’ve been craving for you Joana,” he breathed, and his hands moved towards her thighs, pushing up her skirt. His thumbs hooked over panties, and he tugged them off without much effort. Her skirt was now rucked up so that she’s naked from the waist down and panting, wanting. His breathing was erratic, but he kissed her tenderly, not moving, still inside her, and she blinks, unseeing, into his eyes. As he comes into focus, he gently pulls out of her, holding her steadily while he retreated.

He goes to lie down on his side of the bed, removing his trouser before he did so he was completely naked. She stands up and takes off her shirt, along with the rest of her clothes, and curls up beside him.

He holds her in his arms and k****s her passionately, fondling her nipples and the other parts of her body before they begin round two.

She knew she wasn’t supposed to be doing this, she was betraying Andrew every time she let Derick sleep with her, but she threw all that caution to the wind. She would deal with that problem when the time came. Derick was just too good at f*****g her, she had never slept with Andrew and she didn’t know if he would be better, she knew she would later find out when she eventually got married to him without any more vampire interruptions.
