Orion glanced at Thaddeus' phone and sure enough, the message was from Lemira. A wave of irritation brushed over him. Despite trying to keep his cool, he couldn't help but check his own phone, where his last conversation with Lemira was when he had been discharged from the hospital. He sensed Lemira wanted to keep her distance, and seeing her become so much stronger, he decided to respect her wishes and hadn't contacted her since. It felt like the right thing to do, yet something inside him had shifted. Running a hand through his hair, Orion asked tiredly, "What do you think?"

"Of course I'm going, Lemon is my friend. What's the big deal about grabbing dinner?"

Orion tapped on the table, "Let's go to Bistrova, put it on my tab."

Thaddeus drew out his words, "Lemon's treating me to dinner, and you want to put it on your tab? Can't I pay for my own meal?"

"Just do as you're told!"

"So, you're not coming?"

Orion felt somewhat gloomy, "No, she invited you."

Standing up, Thaddeus put on his jacket and checked himself out in the mirror.

Orion, barely containing his impatience, exclaimed, "Are you going or what? Stop admiring yourself!"

Orion tried to focus on the documents in front of him, but couldn't absorb a single word.

Thaddeus coughed, "Seriously, you're not coming? We're all friends here. What's the harm in joining for a meal? We'll just say you happened to be in the area!" "Fine, do as you please."

Immediately, Orion put down the papers and grabbed his coat, also pausing to look at himself in the mirror.

Pushed aside, Thaddeus rolled his eyes, "Honestly, the accident back then wasn't your fault. It was the driver's error. Just explain it to Lemon, and it'll be fine."

Thaddeus had only recently learned about the true details of the accident from Orion, which had nothing to do with Orion himself.

Orion adjusted his clothes, "You see it that way because you're looking from my perspective. But what about Lemira? She lost her parents!"

Thaddeus fell silent, acknowledging the point.

Lemira was indeed the victim of that tragic accident.

Bistrova.

Lemira stepped out of her car and approached the entrance, noticing the understated charm of the place, hardly resembling a restaurant from the outside.

A staff member approached, "Ms. Langston, right?"

"Yes, that's me."

"Please, follow me."

As Lemira followed the staff member inside, she admired the unique and quaint décor, finding it quite appealing.

Upon reaching the private dining area upstairs, the staff presented her with fruit and snacks.

Originally, she had intended to treat to dinner but wasn't familiar with the place. Thaddeus had recommended this spot, and the ambiance was indeed lovely.

Taking out her phone, Lemira snapped a photo from the window.

"What are you capturing, Lemon?"

Turning around, she was surprised to see Orion, who had also just arrived.

Pausing for a moment, she responded, "The view is nice. Thought we could come here for a team building dinner sometime."

"Team building? Sure, just put it under my name!"

Thaddeus glanced at Orion, knowing well that with him around, this place could easily become Lemon's playground.

Lemira looked at Orion, noticing his casual attire that highlighted his handsome yet distant features. She initiated the conversation, "I thought you had left, so I didn't invite you."

"It's a small matter. Orion happened to be around, so we came together. You don't mind, do you?"

Shaking her head, Lemira replied, "Of course not. We're all friends here."

Just then, the Bistrova manager approached, standing respectfully by Orion's side, "Mr. Everhart, shall we prepare the usual for you?" Orion turned to Lemira, "What would you like?"

"Let's go with what you usually have. I'm sure it's all good."
