Chapter 23

I raced Sasha and the others to the back garden that had a gate leading to the woods. I was quick so I was surprised to see that Rico had caught up to me. Once we were out the gate I ducked behind a tree and stripped off my clothes and shifted into Midnight. When we walked out I saw the others had shifted already too. Sasha’s wolf was a beautiful light sandy blonde colored wolf and Rico was a dark brown wolf. Their fur colors matched their hairs like mine, but the triplets fur was the exact opposite of their hair. Their hair when in human form was raven black, but the fur on their wolves was white as snow. I heard Sasha’s voice in my mind. “Their human side takes after their father, but their wolf side takes after their mother.” Midnight nodded then barked at the triplets and took off running. She wanted them to chase her and they did.

Third Person POV

Midnight could tell the triplet’s wolves apart like Jessabelle could tell the triplets apart. When they got to a big open grassy field, one of the triplet’s wolves tackled Midnight to the ground and stood over her. He nuzzled and licked Midnight’s muzzle. She knew that one was Lucifer, Zero’s wolf. Once Lucifer let Midnight stand again, another one came up and licked the other side of her muzzle and placed his head on top of hers. That one was Leo’s wolf, Fang. Hero’s wolf, Loki was running as fast as he could and showing off that he was a great jumper like Midnight. She purred and walked over to him and licked his muzzle and nuzzled him in his neck.

They all took a little break, after running around and chasing each other, and cuddled up together with Midnight in the middle. The three alpha wolves were very pleased and content to have their beloved mate with them. Midnight purred as she took the time to rub her scent on each one of her mates. Even though they wanted to complete the mating process themselves, the wolves had to wait until their humans completed it first. Midnight head shot up when she felt someone trying to mind link her. It was Raphael’s wolf Alistar.

(Mind link conversation between Alistar and Midnight.)

A: Midnight?! Where the hell are you and the triplets?! Jessabelle is supposed to be resting.

M: Relax Alistar. The mother healed us after that Sasha girl put little one to sleep. We went out for a quick run with our mates and their betas.

A: That is not the point. Raphael and Odette are getting very worried. Please come back now.

M: Alright alright. We are coming back. Try to keep your human from bringing down the pack house like he almost did last time.

A: I will try. You should not have snuck out to begin with. You know how worried Raphael gets when you and Jessabelle have those episodes, and Odette is three times worse than he is. Especially since this is the first time she had to experience your guy’s episodes since meeting you. She still does not fully understand what is going on. She is more in her mother hen mood now looking everywhere for Jessabelle.

M: True, I didn’t think about it. We are on our way now.

A: Alright. Stay safe.

M: Will do.

Midnight closed the mind link and stood up. Her mates followed suit and then they all ran back towards the pack house. Once they shifted back and got dressed. They made their way back to Jessabelle’s room. Raphael, Odette, and Jorge where pacing around the room like war was going on right at the moment. While Sophie and Ryan were calmly sitting on the sofas in her room. As soon as Jessabelle, the triplets, and the twins entered the room. Odette ran full force crashing into Jessabelle in a big bear hug. “Umm, Odette I can’t breathe if you choke me like that.” Jessabelle coughed out. Odette squeezed tighter. “Then you should have thought about that before you worried me half to death with disappearing like that.

Jessabelle was really having a tough time breathing, until Raphael came to her rescue. “My love, please let her go. Don’t worry she will still have to face punishment for disappearing, but she needs to live to face it.” He said with a chuckle in his voice. Jessabelle glared at him, and Odette finally let go. She turned to her cousins and their betas that left with Jessabelle in the first place. “You five are just as guilty!” She said and popped each one of them in the head. They all rubbed their heads. Odette may be a small little she wolf, but he can pack quite a punch of her own.

“We are sorry cuz. Our wolves wanted to go for a run and see Midnight. They still have to wait to complete the mating process for them to speak to each other.” Zero said. Leo and Hero nodded. “We went because we are my lady’s personal bodyguards so she was completely safe. Luna Odette.” Rico said with a bow. Odette signed. “You guys just need to let us know when you are leaving the pack house. I was about to shift into Amber to go find you. Alistar told us you were coming so we waited.” Hero tilted his head to the side. “How did Alistar know we were coming?” Jessabelle turned to him and replied. “Because Midnight told him we were on our way back so Raphael and Odette did destroy the pack house looking for me, like Raphael did last time.” “Oh.” Hero nodded

Raphael blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. “That’s a story for another time.” Raphael said sheepishly then took a piece of paper off the table and handed it to the triplets. “Here is the treaty. It already has mine and Odette’s signatures and seals. All we need is for you three and Jessabelle to sign and place your seals on as well.” Jessabelle looked up shocked. “Why do you need me to sign and put my seal on the treaty. I am not officially the Luna of the Raven Moon pack yet. My seal wouldn’t be valid would it?” Leo answered that before Raphael could. “No princess. As long as all three alphas sign along with you as our luna it would be as valid as it would be if you were already married to us.” “Besides this is just a standard treaty. Basically meaning that Thunder Mountain as Raven Moon’s back when ever needed and vice versa.” said Raphael. Jessabelle smiled “Alright, where do I sign?”

Once they all sign the treaty and place their seals on it, Jessabelle looks at the clock. “Oh we have an hour before dinner. We should get ready.” “Are you sure you still want to go honey? You would have to deal with your brother and ex mate again.” Hero said, looking at her with a worried expression. Jessabelle smiled “Yes Hero. I need to talk to them and put it all behind me. Only then could I really feel like I can move forward with you three. Oh and before we leave for Raven Moon, I would like to get everyone caught up with what the Moon Goddess informed me of.” Everyone smiled and nodded. Then they all left to get ready for dinner.
