Wild Love With My Triplet Mates -
Chapter 40
Zero pulls up to the front and we all jump out. “Wow and I thought the Thunder Mountain pack house was big.” Sabrina nodded. “Well come on in. We can unpack your stuff tomorrow. We can have dinner with our parents and then relax tonight.” Hero said, taking me by the hand to lead me inside. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. “Oh my boys are home!!” I heard a gentle voice say with excitement. I turned to the stairs and saw a beautiful woman about my height coming down the stairs. She had baby blue eyes and snow white hair.
Once she was down the steps he hugged each of the triplets until she got to me. “Oh my goodness. Is this who I think it is?” She asked, looking towards her sons. They just smiled. She gripped me in a death hug and squeezed as hard as she could. Whoa this woman was strong. “Oh I am so excited that my boys finally found their mate, and look how beautiful you are sweetie. I say you were well worth the wait.” Then a deep voice cut her off. “Layla if you don’t let her go, you are going to squeeze the life out of your daughter in law.” The triplets mom finally realized and loosened her grip so I could gasp for some air. “Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry dear. I was just so excited and…” she trailed off as I looked up and saw that she was looking behind me. “Sabrina?” she said as she let go of me.
Sabrina’s POV
This pack house was truly wonderful. Something in the air seemed familiar, but I haven’t left my little cottage for a long time. “Sabrina?” I heard a gentle voice call out to me. ‘Huh, that wasn’t Jessabelle’s voice. Who would be calling by name if I was new here?’ I thought to myself. I turned and there stood another familiar face. “Layla? Layla Hakins?” I was surprised. She let Jess go and ran to give me one of her famous death hugs. Though she ran so fast that she practically tackled me to the ground.
“Oh Sabrina, where in the world have you been?! Mother and father have been looking for you everywhere. Where have you been all these years?” she asked while sobbing into my shoulder. “Mom, you know her?” one of the triplets asked. Layla was their mother? What a small world this truly is. She turned and smiled with tears in her eyes. “Yes Leo, I do know her. This person was the one that saved my life when I was just a small child. She was the reason I was able to survive and meet my mate, your father, and have you three wonderful boys.” Layla said, still clinging to me.
“Wow, I guess it is a small world after all huh Angel?” Jess said with a grin. I smiled back and helped Layla stand up. I noticed a man that looked like an older mature version of the triplets. He must be Layla’s mate. Layla walked over to him and hugged his side. “Hello sir, I’m Sabrina. It’s nice to meet you.” I said with a bow. “Hello Sabrina. Layla has told me a lot about you and what you did for her when she was a little girl. My name is Felix Jackman, Layla’s mate.” I am glad she was able to survive the treatment. The last time I saw her was before Tasha went insane. “What do you mean she saved you?” another triplet asked. Damit I really need to learn to tell these three apart better. I snapped my fingers and each triplet was back in a different color shirt again. Jess giggled as if she read my mind. She pointed to each one and said their names for me.
“Leo, Zero, and Hero. Hahaha this is going to be fun seeing you try to tell them apart.” Jess started laughing. I snapped my fingers and names appeared on the triplet’s shirts and I dropped a wash bin on Jess’s head. “Owww son of a b***h, Angel!!” she cursed out while rubbing her head. Layla was wide eyed at Jess’s potty mouth. “Well my children’s mate sure does have a mouth.” she said. The triplets laughed. “That’s not the only thing she has mom.” Hero said, pulling Jess close and kissing her head. Leo and Zero nodded. “Yup our mate is almost exactly like Sasha, and she has a bad habit of climbing up and jumping down from high places.” Leo said. Felix started busting out laughing while Layla placed her head in her hands. “One Sasha was bad enough, now there are two?!” Jess looked a bit nervous and started to hide behind Hero.
Layla noticed and corrected herself. “Oh honey I didn’t mean it in a bad way. I was just thinking that I was going to have to worry about you getting hurt a lot too. That’s what I meant.” Jess lifted her head and shook it. “Oh you don’t have to fuss over me ma’am. I can take care of myself. I have been on my own for a long time.” Jess said, waving her hands in front of her. Felix didn’t let that slip by him. “What do you mean you have been on your own for a long time? Were you a rouge for a while?” he asked. Before Jess could answer, her stomach growled. She turned red as a tomato while everyone else laughed. “How about we talk more while we eat some dinner.” Layla said while leading us to the dining room.
Jess’s POV
The triplet’s mother grabbed my arm and brought us to a beautiful dining room. It had a long table big enough to fit about 50 people at once. The table was a nice dark wood. Mrs. Jackman sat me down next to her, ignoring her son’s complaints that only one could sit next to me now, and fixed me a plate. She piled a lot of everything onto the plate. There was roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn on the cob, and in another small dish she served me some salad.
“Ummm, Mrs. Jackman, this all looks good, but I don’t think I can eat all of this.” She smiled at me and said “Well one missy, do not speak so formal to me now that we are family. You can call me either mom or Layla, whichever makes you comfortable. Two for your tummy to growl so loudly you must be starving and I will not have my new daughter going hungry.” I looked to the triplets and their father for help. The triplets all shook their heads as if saying ‘Sorry, we can’t do anything.’ but the triplet’s father then began to speak. “I’m sorry dear. My wife can be overbearing and very over protective of her children and now that you are mated to the triplets you are one of our children.” He smiled kindly at me. I couldn’t remember the last time I was called someone’s child. I felt like a dam broke inside and before I realized it, I was crying.
“Oh dear what’s wrong? Is there something wrong with the food? We can make something else if you want.” Layla said. I shook my head and as I tried to wipe the tears away, but they just kept flowing. “There is nothing wrong with the food ma’am. It has just been a really long time since someone called me their child. I haven’t felt a parent’s love in so long. I feel silly for crying like a young pup for hearing you two call me your daughter.” I laughed a bit as I cried even more. The triplets parents looked at each other then their father came over to me and hugged me just like Layla had done. “You can cry all you want here. No one would judge you.” he said in a very kind voice. His aura was not of an alpha, but of a father and Midnight encouraged me to cling to it. She saw how alone I was for 5 long years before she came to me.
I wrapped my arms around Felix and clung to him and cried like a young pup. I felt so at home here. Even more than Thunder Mountain. I was where I truly belonged. Once I calmed down a bit I told Felix and Layla all about what happened at Red Moon, how I ran into the triplets during the luna ceremony after party, how I made up with Roy and Alex over at Thunder Mountain, and how I also am a special wolf with three gifts. Layla went berserk when she heard what happened at Red Moon and the day the Luna died.
“Alex said he would be bringing our parents with him the next time he came to visit me. I am pretty nervous.” I told them. Hero looked as if a thought just hit him. “Honey you said you forgave Roy and Alex years before we met, right?” I nodded. “So why don’t you just forgive your parents, like you did for Alex?” he asked. I didn’t know how to answer him. I looked down and fiddled with my hands. Layla stepped in for me. “Hero sweetheart. Think of it this way. If you were Jessabelle’s position and Leo, Zero, your father and I turned our backs on you, how would you feel towards your father and I as your parents?”
Hero thought for a moment and then it seemed to hit him. “I would feel absolutely betrayed, because you guys are my parents and you are supposed to love me, care for me, and protect me no matter what.” Layla nodded.
“It is easy to forgive the children that wronged her, because they copied what they saw the adults do. Whether it was wrong or right, but her parents should have gone against a heart broken alpha and still loved their daughter and protected her. Her parents went along with the shunning, Even if they didn’t do any name calling or take part in any of the beatings. They still did nothing at all to help her.” Layla said looking at her sons. Felix nodded and said “That is why she acts so tough. She is so used to being on her own and as you saw earlier. Just hearing how someone cares enough to call her their own child hit her heart so hard she had to cry.” The triplets nodded to what their parents were saying. After dinner Leo wanted to change the mood, so he stood up and walked straight over to me.
“Well Princess, I think it is time we take you to our room and take care of one of the things we talked about in the truck.” Leo said as he lifted me up and out of my seat with a big smirk on his face. I blushed beet red and Layla calls out to us as Leo is carrying my bridal style out of the dining room. “Oh make sure you make us plenty of grandchildren. We are not getting any younger here.” She yelled. I heard Sabrina start laughing as I got redder. Though I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to become one with each of my alphas.
