Shianna’s POV

I stayed for dinner and was introduced to the alpha triplet’s parents. Their son’s had mindlinked them to inform them of why I was here. I was amazed at how much food was at the table. I grabbed some grapes and a small portion of salad to eat. Rico, my mate, looked at me with concern. “Is there something else you would like to eat, my love? I can make you anything you want.” He said flashing a bright smile my way.

“Um no it’s ok. I’m content with the grapes and salad. Fruits and veggies I find in the woods are what I normally eat regularly. Along with the occasional kill I would catch from hunting.” I said. It was a completely normal response for me to make, but everyone at the table turned their heads to me. I fidget in my seat and poked at my salad with my fork. Then Jess came over to me and cut a slice of the meat in the center. She then cut it into small pieces and brought one to my lips. “Here try this. I’m sure you’ll like it.” It smelled amazing.

I grabbed it and ate it. It was so much better than the small game I would catch in the woods and roast over an open fire. “Mmmmm. What is that?” I asked her. She smiled and said. “It is smoked ham with a honey glaze. Shianna.” I looked up at her when she called my name. “I hope you will learn to trust us and your mate. Rico would never do anything to harm you. You can express yourself here.” “Is that an order as the luna?” I asked her.

“No, it is a request as a friend. We all had our troubles, some just have more than others. Like you and me. I was completely on my own until I went to Thunder Mountain. I know it will be hard at first, but if you just give a real pack a chance then you will be happier.” Jess placed a hand on my shoulder and gently squeezed, Silver was wagging her tail at the kindness coming off from everyone here at the table. “I will try Jess.” I felt lighter, and the corners of my mouth tipped up. It shocked me and I covered my mouth. Jess giggled. “First time smiling?” she asked.

I nodded, then I saw a little glint in her eyes. “Then let’s see it again.” She said as she then pounced on me and started to tickle my sides. We rolled onto the floor and I gasped and squealed with laughter. ‘What in the world? Were those sounds coming from me?’ I thought to myself and I heard the room fill with more laughter. I felt tears in my eyes. I haven’t cried since William gave me this scar, and these were not tears of pain. I actually felt happy. I felt Jess remove her hands and opened my eyes.

Then I noticed that one of her alphas had grabbed her and tossed her over his shoulder. She squealed and giggled herself. “Zero! Put me down. Hahaha.” He growled playfully at her and turned on his heel. Heading out of the dining room. “I think it is time for my brothers and I to enjoy our own dessert.” He said as his brother followed him out the door. Everyone else was snickering to themselves. “I bet that she is going to end up with a ton of pups from those three.” Sasha said.

I finished supper with Rico and we went back to his room. “Shianna, my love, are you sure about going out tonight?” Rico asked as he wrapped me in his big strong arms. His scent was intoxicating for Silver and I. I never felt more relaxed in my entire life, than I do when he is holding me. “Yes Rico. Once I convince William to the plan, then I will be back.” Rico gripped me a bit tighter. “I know you worry about me Rico, but I have lived with William and Tasha since birth. I can fool them long enough for three more months.” He nodded in the crook of my neck. “How ever long it would be. I would be here for you.” he said, inhaled my scent. Silver purred with comfort.

The clock read 10:00pm. “I should get going. By the time I get to the den, it will be around midnight. I will see you tomorrow.” I got up and out of his arms, but he spun me around and crashed his lips on mine. I felt fireworks through the k**s. My eyes were wide then they naturally closed on their own within seconds. I melted into Rico and Silver was purring up a storm. She didn’t want to leave his side, but we had work to do. I gently pulled away from him and looked up.

“I promise I will be back. Alright?” I asked while rubbing my hands up and down his big strong arms. “Alright” he muttered. I kissed the tip of his nose before I turned to leave. “Surprise me with something for breakfast tomorrow. I’ll be back.” I called out before I left the room. I found an empty hallway and jumped out the window. If William was having me watched then I needed to play the part outside the packhouse.

Once out in the woods, I strip down and shift. Silver then picks up my clothes in her mouth and we dash off to the den. Silver must want to get this over with quickly, because she is running faster than ever before. We get to the den within about an hour and a half. I shifted then got dressed before I entered. I make my way down to the throne room that William had built underground. I knocked and waited for a response.

He growled from inside. “What the hell do you want mutt?!” I internally roll my eyes. “Alpha, I come with good news about the girl. May I enter?” I speak through the door. No one enters without his permission, unless they have a death wish. “Enter.” he called out. I walked in and got down on my knees and bowed lower to him. “Good evening Alpha. I hope you will be pleased with what I have to offer.” I speak low so he would not confuse my voice with anger or disrespect. “What did you find out mutt?” he demanded. “I not only found the new pack she is in, but I have found a way to infiltrate the pack and keep a much closer eye on her.” I paused. “Continue.” ‘So far so good girl. Just breathe.’ Silver said to me.

“While I was tracking her, I ran into some pack warriors. They were about to kill me, when she intervend. Being their luna, she saved me and offered me a place in their pack. If I could stay in the pack house I can watch her carefully, until her birthday. I will also make sure she turns farel when the time is right.” I felt him come closer to me. He gripped my hair and yanked me back to face him “And how pre-tell would you do that mutt?” he growled.

I winced at the pain a bit. “She has three alpha mates. I will help their bond deepen for the next three months and then just before the time is right I will shatter it. No wolf can withstand their mate bond breaking. Especially if she marks them and they mark her.” I say while looking at just his mouth. He gave me a sickening grin. “What a clever mutt you become. Fine! We will proceed with this plan of yours, but if you mess up even once. I will kill you. Are we clear mutt?” He said as he yanks my hair tighter. I gasped a bit before answering him. “Crystal Alpha.” He throws me to the ground and before he leaves and looks back at me.

“One more thing, you are to report your progress at the end of every week.” “Yes Alpha.” Then he walks away. ‘We did it Silver.’ she yelps and barks happily in my mind. Be prepared William, your days are numbered. I think to myself as I walked to my room to pack. I want to go home now.
