Wild Love With My Triplet Mates -
Chapter 76
Rico’s POV
After Sabrina cleared the mist away, we marched forward and stepped into what looked to be an orchard. “Something feels weird about this place.” Sash said, as she looked around the orchard. There were apples, pears, peaches, and other kinds. There were even all kinds of berry bushes growing all over the place. “Yeah, there is fruit here blooming even though it is out of season.” Sophie said.
Sabrina walked up to a nearby tree and placed her hand on it. She closed her eyes as if to concentrate on what she was looking for. “Tasha used her magic to make these trees and bushes bare fruit. I can feel her magic energy running through the tree.” Sabrina said. “I guess the fruits and whatever they hunt in the woods was their main source of food.” I said looking around. Sabrina nods “Yes and the weird feeling you are getting from the area is coming from Tasha’s energy flowing through the ground. It just shows that she has claimed this area as hers.” She says, starting to walk again.
‘Her area?’ I thought to myself. “Is that dangerous for us?” I asked her. Sabrina thought for a moment, then balanced her hands as if she was a scale. “Yes and no. Since we are so far away from Tasha herself, then no it is not really dangerous. She can just slightly sense us entering.” “So is that why you had us spread out a bit?” Sasha interrupted and Sabrina nodded. “Yes, she can sense people entering her area of magic, but with us spread out she can’t see where the triplets are.”
‘That is very true. If Tasha was to target anyone it would be the triplets in order to get to Jess in any way.’ Sebastian said in my head. I nodded to him in my mind. “Though the closer we get to Tasha herself, the stronger her magical energy will run inside the earth. Tasha is a strong long distance fighter and most of her spells deal with the earth.” Sabrina said, pulling me from my thoughts. “So the closer we get to Tasha the more dangerous her magic will be inside the earth itself… right?” Raphael asked.
“Yes, but I can still cancel her magic out if it runs in my magical radius.” Sabrina answered. “What’s a magical radius?” Sophie asked. Sabrina thought for a moment. She looked as if she was trying to figure out how to explain it. “Sorry, I thought it was common knowledge around the world.” Sabrina said, while rubbing the back of her neck. “A magical radius is how far any witch or warlock can instantly claim an area around them and fill it with their magic energy. Their magic will become dominant in that area. Even though Tasha doesn’t see me as her elder sister, her magic does. So casting my magical radius around her will cancel out any of her magic around me.”
“So that is how you were able to get rid of those vines that she wrapped around all of us at the Luna Ceremony?” Zero asked. It startled Sabrina a bit, because the triplets had been so focused on trying to sense their mate they haven’t said anything since we entered the orchard. “Yes. Because we are b***d and I am her elder sibling, her power will submit to mine inside my magical radius.” Sabrina stopped and turned to all of us.
“Though outside my magical radius will be her playing field. She also has the advantage of being here since she destroyed the Nightmare Pack, so the earth around the mountain has had years to absorb her magic.” “So if any of us go outside your magical radius, then we are on our own with Tasha’s magic?” I asked. Sabrina nods. Sasha all of a sudden stopped and grabbed her head. Sophie and I rush to her side. “You alright, sis?” Sophie asked.
Sasha’s eyes were closed. She lightly shook her head and opened her eyes. “What is wrong, Sasha?” I asked. “Oh it was nothing, I think the magic around here was throwing off my senses. I noticed that Sasha had her usual carefree smile on her face, but a determined fire in her eyes. Someone was coming their way. Before I could ask again, a sudden whirlwind picked up around us. Flowers swirled up around us, making it hard to see anything. Then I heard Sabrina gasp in pain, as the flower twister died down. I spun around and felt my heart drop.
Shianna held Sabrina with her arms tightly pinned behind her back. Shianna was also holding a light purple short sword to Sabrina’s neck. Shianna’s eyes were void of emotions and were a bright red. Not the silver and yellow I loved. “Shianna?” I called out. She looked at all of us with a deadpan stare. “Welcome, my mistress is waiting for you.” Was all she said, in a voice also void of any emotion or life. Sebastian whimpered. ‘I can’t feel Silver.’ he said.
“Since you were taking so long, my mistress decided I should bring you the rest of the way. She wants to enjoy the show.” Shianna said. The lifeless way she talks and looks at us is tearing my heart to pieces. “Shianna… What in Moon Goddess’s name did they do to you?” I asked, feeling my voice crack a bit as I held back the tears. She looked back at me and plastered an emotionless smile on her face. It looked as if someone had just painted it on her.
“I am only serving my mistress, as I am supposed to do.” she said and stomped her foot to the ground three times. The twister of flowers surrounded us once again, feeling a bit stronger this time. I closed my eyes. After a few seconds the wind died down again. I lowered my arms and opened my eyes. We were right in front of the black mountain. It had caves carved into the side of it. ‘I guess that is what they sleep in instead of rooms.’ I thought.
I looked around me and noticed that only Sasha, Alex, Alpha Roy, Alpha Raphael, Sabrina, Shianna, the triplets, and myself were the only ones here. “They separated us from the others.” Alex growled. All of a sudden vines sprang up from the ground and wrapped around all of us, except for Sabrina who was still in Shianna’s grasp.
Then someone started to clap. We all looked up and saw Tasha standing on a very high balcony with a tall man. He looked like the dirty scared version of the William we saw in the mind share with Sabrina. They looked down at us smuggly. “Hello sister dear. So nice of you to drop by, but don’t you know it is a bit rude to show up unannounced?” Then all of a sudden howls and growls can be heard echoing throughout the orchard. “Sounds like those mutts are entertaining your friends.” Tasha said in her sickening attempt to sound sweet.
