A month and ½ later…

The triplets and I have been busy. Me getting kidnapped and finding out about the pups made the triplets forget about a very important festival that Raven Moon has held every year for generations… The Harvest Moon Festival. Sasha and Layla have been filling me in all about it. It is held on the first full moon of fall, and is about giving thanks to the Moon Goddess for all the blessings the pack has had in the past year.

Apparently the first festival after gaining a new luna is the most special of all. Layla and Sasha do the running around for me. The pups are growing so big and so fast… I feel like I will pop soon. So I mostly do paperwork at my desk. I am just scribbling names on a paper when Sasha comes in. “Hey Jess. I have some of the final preparation I need you to look over and sign.” She said, handing me a thick stack of papers. I smiled. “Thanks Sasha. I can’t believe the festival is tomorrow already. Things have been so busy.”

Which was true. Between getting ready for the festival and the pups, the only time I see my mates is in our bedroom. “Yeah, once the festival kicks off tomorrow, you and the triplets should have maybe a week to yourselves before work picks up again. Oh! I also heard that the full moon tomorrow is actually going to be a blue moon.” I took the papers she had. “Wow really? A blue moon only happens once every 100 years. Has there ever been one during the harvest festival?” “Nope. I feel like something good is going to happen tomorrow.” I smiled again. It seems that Sasha, Sabrina, Shianna, and I all have the same feeling tomorrow. Something Special is coming our way and it was something big.

Sasha looked over at the paper I was scribbling on. “Still struggling with what names to give the pups?” I sigh and nod. “I want them to have names that suit them, but so far none of the ones I have come up with have seemed good enough, and the triplets are no help.” I g*****d as I remember the last time I asked them for names they liked. “Let me guess… they all said that they would be happy with whatever name you picked out because no matter the name they were their pups.” Sasha said with a smirk. I nodded.

“Layla said that coming up with names was fun for her. She pulled the triplets name from characters in manga she used to read as a kid.” Sasha tilted her head. “What’s manga?” I laughed. “Manga are based off of comic books we read in the US, but they read like more in depth novels. They are made in Japan.” “Oh so it is like those anime shows Sophie watches, just on paper with thought bubbles and talking bubbles. Right?” I nod and look over the papers she gave me. “Well then what kind of things interest you besides training?” I thought for a few minutes before I answered her.

“Well when I was younger I always liked reading about the gods and goddesses from different cultures and countries. Like there are so many different gods and goddesses for different things, like in Egypt and Greece. Egypt prayed to Ra, the god of the sun, but the greeks would pray to Apollo, who was their god of the sun.” Sasha chuckled a bit at me. “You sound like a text book nerd… Hahahaha” she laughed as she finished her sentence. I rolled my eyes and threw a cherry from my fruit bowl at her. “Oh shut it.” We finished our work and Sasha helped me get from my office to my bathroom.

Since I almost tripped and fell on my a*s a couple weeks ago, the triplets used their alpha command on the pack to assist me whenever I needed. I had a chaperone whenever I wanted to move from room to room or take the stairs. Hell, I can’t even use the elevator alone. My alphas have become so paranoid about every little thing. I wonder how they will act when our children are old enough to find their mates. Especially our daughter. Three fathers, two brothers, and all the uncles within Red Moon, Thunder Mountain, and Raven Moon. I pity the poor man/men that get matched with my little girl.

Sasha pulls me from my thoughts. “Jess are you alright?” She asked, waving her hand in my face. I blinked and smiled. “Yeah, just imagining how it will be when my babies grow up and find their own mates. If their daddies are this worried before they are even born, then how will they be when they are leaving the nest?” Sasha shuddered. “Well I don’t think you have to worry about your sons, but we will need to make sure that little girl is just as tough as us. So no man can push her around.” She winks at me and I giggle.

Sasha helps me into the tub and then waits in my bedroom. I can still wash myself. I just need help getting in and out of the tub. After my bath and Sasha’s help. I get my night dress on and lay in bed. Drifting off to a peaceful sleep.

The next morning I wake up feeling feather light k****s on my neck, sides, and thighs. The sparks rushing through my body tell me it is my mates. My eyes flutter open and I am met with three very sexy smiling faces. “Good morning, princess.” “Morning honey.” “Hello sweetheart.” They each said, followed by a sweet good morning k**s. I giggled as the light k****s began to tickle a bit. “Good morning to you three too, and as much as I want to stay in bed we have a festival to finish up today.” They g***n and continue kissing my body. “You are the only woman in the world that would be thinking about work when you are laying here in bed with your mates.” Hero said, then he gently nipped my shoulder. Sending a shiver to run through my body.

Then someone cleared their throat. The four of us freeze and look towards the doorway of our bedroom. There is Layla with her arms crossed, while tapping her foot on the floor. “Unless you want to upset your loving mother, boys, you will give me my daughter so I can get her ready for the festival tonight.” she said, giving her sons a hard glare. Quick as a flash my mates kissed my cheek once more before jumping off the bed, giving their mother a peck on the cheek, and dashing out of the room in only shorts.

As soon as they were gone I burst out laughing. Layla smiles and winks at me. “No matter how old children get, a mother has to keep them in line. Remember that when my grandson’s try to cause trouble.” “Only your grandsons. I think your granddaughter might be a little trouble maker too.” I said. Layla just shakes her head. “No, I feel like my little granddaughter will be just as sweet, honest, and kind as her mother. She will only fight when it is for what she believes is right. But moon goddess forbid that those boys are anything like their fathers.”

I laughed at the last part, as Layla helped me waddle to the bathroom. “I will leave the door open, so call if you need help.” I nod. I finish my business in the bathroom and walk out to see Layla and Sasha in my closet. “Good morning Sasha. When did you get here?” “Just a few minutes ago. I brought your breakfast up.” She said, as she pointed to the tray on the table. There were pancakes, eggs, bacon, two doughnuts, and a glass of orange juice and milk. My mouth watered at the spread in front of me and the pups seemed to feel the same way with how they kicked. “Oh, I am not going to miss those kicks once you three are out.” I mutter under my breath, but of course werewolf hearing allowed Sasha and Layla to hear me. They chuckle and Sasha dashes over to my side and gently helps me to the sofa so I can eat and feed my pups.

After I ate, we talked and they helped me get ready. The dress that Layla prepared for me was a light blue, long sleeve sundress. She had it altered so it would feel more comfortable over my big swollen belly. “So the only real duty I have is to announce the start of the festival?” I asked Layla. “Yup, normally the luna is the announcer and judge for the different events and games at the festival, but since your movement is limited we took a pack vote and this year you would just begin the festival and enjoy it.”

I smile, feeling loved and cared for. Then the doors flew open and Odette, Sophie, Stella, Rose, Sabrina, Selena and Shianna all came in. “Hey girls. How has everything been?” I asked, as Sasha helps me sit down in a chair so Layla can do my hair. “Hey, we have been all good.” Odette cheerfully said. Sophie shrugged a little. “Same here though I’m still getting used to giving orders instead of following them, but Red Moon really has changed for the better. You should come for a visit after the pups are born.” She gave me her normal friendly smile.

“I might. It has been a long time since I saw the place.” I said think of all the good memories I had there when I was younger. “So have you thought of names for the pups?” Selena asked. I smiled and nodded. “Yes, but no one is hearing what they are until the pups are born.” The girls all got ready in my room and we chatted and caught up until it was late in the evening. The festival will be starting soon. Layla and Sasha were the last to leave, so they helped me head to the valley behind the pack house.

Sasha and Layla help me to the ground floor and out the doors. “Oh wow, it looks amazing.” There were different kinds of stands set up all in neat rows. The whole valley was full of different food stalls and games. “It reminds me of a small festival I saw the last time I went to Japan for Thunder Mountain pack work.” “Come on, let’s get you to the table.” Layla said. They walked me to a huge long table set up in front of the stage. “You begin the festival up on the stage with the triplets as the blue moon rises, then you can enjoy the rest of the evening at the table here.” Layla said. “Also we have Dr. Laura on call just to be safe. She and her mate will be at the table with you tonight.” Sasha added.

“Good evening Luna.” I heard someone call out to me. I turn and see Dr. Laura walked towards us with her arm wrapped around a woman. “Hello doctor, who is this lovely woman?” I asked. The woman blushed and the doc just smiled. “This is my mate, Camila. She is a nurse at the clinic as well.” “Oh well nice to meet you Camila.” She smiled. Some people may not approved of people of the same s*x being together, but I see no shame in it. Love is love, no matter what. “We will take good care of you and your pups, Luna.” Camila said, with a bow.

“Well after the beginning of the festival I will be sitting here with you two and my three mates. I think tonight will be as safe as can be.” They all smile. “There you are.” “We were wondering where you were, honey.” I turned my neck a bit and saw my mates themselve walking up to us. “Speak of the devils and they shall appear.” Sasha snickered. Laura and Camila tried to contain their laughter, as the triplets glared at Sasha.

Leo wrapped his arms around my big swollen belly. “The pack is gathering, princess. Time to begin the Harvest Moon Festival.” he said, as he nuzzled my neck. I nod and the triplets lead me away from everyone and help me up the stage. Hero handed me a microphone and I looked as the crowd got big fast. Everyone was all excited for the festival to begin. I looked behind me and saw the full moon rise. It gave off a beautiful light blue glow. I felt a peaceful presence come from the moon’s rays and turned back to address the crowd.

“Good evening everyone. I am happy to share this moment not only with my new family here in Raven Moon, but my friends and family from both Red Moon and Thunder Mountain.” I pause and look through the crowd. I saw all of my friends and family smiling ear to ear. “Now I know it is not very traditional, but because of the precious cargo I am carrying… I will only be announcing the beginning of the Harvest Moon Festival tonight. Layla will be the acting judge for the contests this year.” I pause again and the crowd claps.

“So without further delay- Ah!” I drop the mic and grab my stomach. A sharp pain cuts me off mid-sentence. I felt liquid running down my legs. “Sweetheart?” Zero asked as he supported me. “The pups are coming.” I said, then gasped as another sharp pain raced through me. Dr. Laura and Camila were by my side quickly. “Please lay her down, Alpha. I need to assess if it is safe to move her to the clinic or not.” Doc said. Zero gently lowered me to the stage and Leo grabbed the mic and addressed the crowd of worried pack members.

“Please stay calm everyone.”I heard his voice as I felt hands gently pressing around my stomach. “Alpha I need someone to hold up a blanket or something. We can not move the Luna, so she will have to give birth right here.” Doc said. I tried to follow what was happening but the pain from my contractions. ‘Our pups are coming.’ Midnight said in my mind.
