“ Actually .

” Just as Fenwick seemed about to speak , the broadcast abruptly changed , and a male voice overlapped with Fenwick’s live audio , 

“ Bullying ? Elysia , are you kidding me ? Showing me some edited photos and claiming you’re being bullied ? ” 

Fenwick barely glanced at the photos in her hand before swatting them to the floor .

A faint smirk of disdain curled at the corner of his lips , his eyes brimming with doubt and mockery .

His gaze , sharp and mocking , pierced through Elyssa like a blade , leaving her with a cold, stinging pain 

“ Not a single mark on you .

Who’s going to believe this ? If you’re going to take it , at least make it convincing , ” Fenwick said .

Elysia staggered back , her face pale with disbelief .

She couldn’t understand how Fenwick could say such things .

When Rowena was around , she expected his favoritism – Rowena cried , lied , and twisted the truth .

Elysia thought , That he still didn’t believe me .

Did he truly need to see my wounds laid bare to believe me ? 

Elysia said .

“ Do you really t 

think bullying is only physical , Fenwick ! ” 

Her voice hoarse and trembling , Elysia turned and fled downstairs .

She returned moments later with a plastic bag containing the dismembered rabbit , along with the death threat notes , and held them out in front of 

Fenwick 

‘ Eugh – Flysia , could you be any more disgusting ! Killing a rabbit , seribbling a bunch of threats – what does this even prove ? That you’re getting more twisted by the day ? Or is this your way of threatening me ? Did you hurt Rowena again ! ” 

Fenwick grew increasingly agitated as he spoke , until he was practically

shouting at her .

With a forceful swipe , he knocked the evidence out of Elysia’s hands .

Fenwick said , “ Don’t ever let me hear you call me Fenwick again .

” 

The reality was like a heavy hammer , delivering the most crushing blow to Elysia .

It shattered the last sliver of hope and illusion she had been clinging to , leaving her completely lost and disoriented .

As she watched Ferwick hurriedly rush to the door to wait for Rowena’s tutoring session to end .

Elysia stood frozen in place , overwhelmed by confusion and despair .

Her heart felt as though it were being torn apart , the pain sharp and unrelenting .

She muttered to herself , her voice trembling .

“ So … it wasn’t because of Rowena ‘ Even though I chose a time when Rowena wasn’t around to come to … him .

” 

Fenwick is beyond saving .

Elysia , you deserve better ) 

[ Is she naive ? Yes , but what other choice did she have ? Every adult at school ignored her , and her family – her last resort – turned out no different .

Fenwick , meanwhile , sat with his face burning red , too ashamed to meet anyone’s gaze .

He hung his head low , his lips trembling as he whispered faintly .

Though his voice was barely audible , it struck Turin like a dagger straight to the heart .

It was all true .

Elysia had reached out to them , and Fenwick had extinguished her last glimmer of hope .

“ Fenwick , why did you do that ? ” Torin demanded , his voice trembling with rage .

“ If it weren’t for you , Elysia wouldn’t have worn that stupid thing, wouldn’t have been noticed by the kidnappers , wouldn’t have been sold to those monsters for those experiments .

” 

Fenwick was now crying openly , his face wet with tears .

Finally , he broke down and yelled , “ It’s your fault ! Elysia liked you more than me .

She never wanted to be around me .

I hated her – what’s wrong with that ? ”
