Wang Dong-Sheng had been monitoring the Green Dragon Force during this time.

This team was built by that man. Wang Dong-Sheng had also seen what this team was capable of during the battle at Yunzhou.

He had only been in the military camp for half a month and so, he did not know who Wang Dong-Sheng was, or his rank in the military camp.

"Instructor Chen, I am Colonel Wang Dong-Sheng from platoon 258 of the Jiangdong military camp."

"You are only a colonel and you have the nerve to comment on a general's training method? Are you also not submitting to me as the chief instructor of the military camp?" Chen Lan spoke aggressively to Wang Dong-Sheng, his words laced with ice.

Fear arose in Wang Dong-Sheng when he felt the hostility from Chen Lan, but he stood his ground. "Instructor Chen, it's not that I'm not submitting to you. The key problem lies with your training method. It is really not appropriate. These kids will be destroyed if you insist on your training method!"

"Shut up!" Chen Lan exploded once he heard what Wang Dong-Sheng had to say. "How dare you! You have the audacity to suggest that I am an irresponsible instructor?"

"I have taught countless disciples for many decades and my sect has produced numerous great men and heroes! A small captain like you is like the ants and rats of the world, and you have the audacity to question my prowess? You must have thought that I can be a push-over since you have not seen my power."

"But since it's your first time making this mistake, I will forgive you! Now, scram! I will not tolerate meddling from the likes of you when I am training my people!" Chen Lan spoke to Wang Dong-Sheng with a frosty stare. He even tried to humiliate Wang Dong-Sheng by asking him to scram immediately.

But Wang Dong-Sheng was not someone who would take this lying down. Anger rose in him and he exploded at Chen Lan as well, "You old fool, why are you so conceited and just throwing your weight about here?! Even Commander Wu does not talk in such a condescending manner!"

"When I had risen to the rank of a colonel, you were probably still somewhere out there fooling around with women! Did you really think you could do whatever you like just because you are an instructor now? You have only just joined the military camp!" "I don't care, I am going to interfere in this matter! Chen Lan gave orders immediately to have Wang Dong-Sheng arrested and to be charged with causing disruption and being insolent to his superior. Chen Lan wanted Wang Dong-Sheng to be thrown into the military prison!

"You asshole, are you serious about having me arrested?"

"Which of you dares to arrest me!" With a shout of anger, Wang Dong-Sheng kicked the two soldiers who came forward to arrest him.

"How dare you resist arrest!" Chen Lan's expression darkened when he saw what Wang Dong-Sheng did.

He walked up and swiveled his body with a back kick towards Wang Dong-Sheng. This kick sent Wang Dong-Sheng flying.

"Arrest him! And confine him!" Chen Lan commanded with a cold voice.

The two soldiers came forward to pull Wang Dong-Sheng up from the ground and escorted him to the military prison for imprisonment. "Colonel Wang!"

"Let him go!" "You old dog, deal with us directly! Don't

take it out on others!"

Their eyes reddened at once when Li Zi-Yang and the rest saw Chen Lan arresting Wang Dong-Sheng.

It was Wang Dong-Sheng who had been secretly sending them food over the past two weeks.

If it wasn't for him, the five of them would not have been able to last this long with the torturous training and lack of nutritious food.

Hence, the members of the Green Dragon Force were filled with gratitude towards Wang Dong-Sheng.

Chen Lan stopped them even before they

had taken a few steps forward. With a series of palm moves, Chen Lan struck Li Zi-Yang and the rest and had sent them flying.

"A bunch of scums! You can't even save yourselves and you want to save others? You are fools who don't even your own limitations! Looks like I have to teach you guys a lesson today. Once I beat the insubordination and stubbornness out of you, you will be a lot more compliant in future," said Chen Lan coldly as he walked towards Li Zi-Yang and the rest.

He looked like he was going to bash them up on the spot.

Just at this moment, Chen Lan's phone rang.

Chen Lan exclaimed soon after he picked up the call, "What did you say? Deputy Commander Lin's son has fainted? Why didn't you guys take good care of him? You rascals, call the military doctor quickly. I am on my way!"

Chen Lan hung up after a short lashing out at the party over the phone. He looked anxious as he quickly turned to leave.

But just before leaving, Chen Lan warned the members of the Green Dragon Force, "Count your lucky stars that I don't have time to teach you a lesson today. But I will be back tomorrow. If you still refuse to submit to my authority, then you will end up just like him!"

Chen Lan pointed in Tai Shan's direction, then turned to leave.

He had to attend to Lin Fan as the latter was Ling Qing-He's son. It would be tough for Chen Lan to explain to Lin Qing-He should anything happen to Lin Fan under his care.

So, it was better for Chen Lan to personally ensure that Lin Fan was alright.

"Tai Shan, are you alright?"

"Wake up, don't close your eyes..." Li Zi-Yang and the rest crowded around Tai Shan after Chen Lan left.

"It's all my fault!" Ye Yu-Yan was filled with so much guilt that she started crying.
