"Where did these stupid kids come from?"

Jin Bao and Yin Bao gave Jiang Yu-Lang and Jiang Yu-Qing a slap each for blocking their way, just as everyone continued to stare in shock. Then they turned to Li Er and said reverently, "Master Li, this way, please. Mr Chu is inside."

"Okay," nodded Li Er. Then he strode in quickly and went towards Ye Fan.

Naturally, Li Er wasn't the only person walking over to Ye Fan.

All the other guests who were already there had stepped forward reverently and paid obeisance to the man sitting quietly in the courtyard.

"It's the Lunar New Year, so I, Chen Ao..."

All of them bowed together.

Ye Tian and the others stared in awe. Even Ye Xi-Lan had to stop showing off and was completely speechless now.

Another car pulled up outside the old residence.

A middle-aged man dressed in a suit strode in quickly.

I was held up at the company. Sorry, I'm late," said the man as he chuckled after he entered the door.

The man before them was Jiang Yang. He was Ye Xi-Lan's husband and Jiang Yu-Lang and Jiang Yu-Qing's father.

Jiang Yang and Ye Xi-Lan made plans to spend the Lunar New Year holidays with the Ye family.

But things got busy in Jiang Yang's company towards the year end, so he got held up.

He only finally managed to leave today and headed over from Jianghai to spend the holidays with his family at Jingzhou.

"Oho! Looks packed here. They are probably Tian and Ya's guests, right?" said Jiang Yang nonstop after he entered the door and asked after them.

But Jiang Yang interrupted, "Xi-Lan, stay out of this. Don't worry. I will seek justice for our children. How dare he hit my kid! I'm going to break his leg!"

Jiang Yang was outraged. He had never laid a hand on his children. How could someone hit them so badly? Of course he was infuriated.

So he turned to look at the crowd as he shouted angrily, "Which one of you is Ye Fan? Get your ass over here! How dare you hit Yu-Lang! Who gave you the balls to do such a thing?" Jiang Yang's angry voice echoed through the halls of the Ye residence.

In an instant, the whole place went quiet.

The uproar died down completely.

Everyone turned one after another to look at Jiang Yang strangely with pity in their eyes.

"Another stupid idiot is here," thought Lei Ao-Ting as he shook his head and smiled at the sight.

Ye Xi-Lan's family turned pale when they caught wind of Jiang Yang's words.

They knew that they were in trouble.

Before Ye Fan could reply, Li Er stepped forward.

He looked at Jiang Yang glumly and said with a cold voice, "Tell me, what's your name? Where are you from? Where is your family from? How can you speak so disrespectfully to Mr Chu? It sounds to me that you have no plans to continue working in Jianghai."

Li Er's deep lofty tone made Jiang Yang even angrier.

"Are you asking who I am? Then what about you? How can you speak to me so arrogantly?" said Jiang Yang angrily. He was used to working as a manager, so other than the chairman, no one dared to use this tone of voice at him. Li Er's lofty airs made him very angry indeed.

Li Er replied coldly to Jiang Yang's question, "I'm Li Er from Yunzhou."
