Chen Ao apologized to Ye Fan and turned to glare at Wang Kai, who was hiding in the crowd, and said coldly, "Mr Wang, I recall you are the chairman of Jiuzhou Insurance, right?" "I..." stammered Wang Kai as his face turned pale.

"Mr...Mr Chen, that's right," said Wang Kai anxiously. He kept cursing Jiang Yang in his heart.

Wang Kai already felt it was inappropriate when Jiang Yang blatantly spouted nonsense.

So he wanted to pretend he didn't know Jiang Yang and wriggle his way out of trouble.

But it didn't cross his mind that Jiang Yang would be idiotic enough to tell them where he was from and where he worked and attempt to act tough in front of Mr Chu and Li Er.

Wang Kai howled in his heart, but the coldness radiating from Chen Ao had already left Wang Kai feeling threatened.

"Chen Ao was so imposing that only Mr Chu could surpass him, right?"

Everyone sighed.

Jiang Yang was instantly shocked to see Wang Kai present.

"Hmm? Mr Wang, what brings you here? Are you visiting relatives in Jingzhou too?" asked Jiang Yang in surprise when he saw his immediate superior.

"Relatives, my ass!" exploded Wang Kai angrily as he turned and kicked Jiang Yang to the ground.

Chen Ao had just scolded him publicly, so he took it all out on Jiang Yang.

He kicked and shouted, "You dumbass! are you trying to kill me? How dare you offend Mr Chu? Do you have a death wish?" Wang Kai's voice was trembling and completely struck by fear.

Wang Kai said angrily, "You reckless fool! You're fired! You don't have to go back to the company from today onwards! Jiuzhou Insurance has no place for blind idiots like you!"

His words landed on Jiang Yang like a death sentence.

Jiang Yang was instantly stunned. He stared dead straight, incapable of wrapping his mind around the situation.

Wang Kai shouted on and on with a darkened expression on his face. He almost wanted to kick Jiang Yang to death.

He wanted to leave a good impression in front of Ye Fan. Instead of doing that, he probably got implicated by Jiang Yang.

"What...what? The...the King of Jiangdong, Mr Chu, whom even Master Lei bows to?" said Jiang Yang. Wang Kai's words struck him like a blade to his heart.

In an instant, Jiang Yang felt his head ringing from shock. His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

He couldn't believe that the unaccomplished live-in husband his wife kept talking about was shockingly the King of Jiangdong, Mr Chu!
