Chloe's

POV:

By the time I got back downstairs, my mother and Marcus, were no where to be found.

There was a familiar smell coming from the kitchen and it smelt pleasant but when I tried to drag it in, I gagged, my stomach churning with irritation. Garlic. I suddenly felt sick again and before I could run to the toilet, the nauseous feelings subsided. I got out again and had to run back into the toilet again in less than another minutes. To cut the story short; I spent over the next hour traveling between the living room and toilet untill when I could no longer take it, I teleported and found myself in the place that had been on my mind.

It was a good thing that I did not walk into those two having wild sex, I wondered where all of that freakiness had gone. "Hi guys," I waved awkwardly when they both turned to see me in the house.

Lily screamed, her her eyes wide with fear then they narrowed when she recognized that it was me. "Chloe! Oh my gosh, you scared me!"

I gave her a smile and plopped down on one of their familiar couches. "Anyone seen my dear husband around?"

"Nope," Mark replied. "Only been seeing that red head aunty of yours around, for how long has she been awake?" he asked.

I tensed up, my eyes shifting from both Mark and Lily. "You... you have been seeing her?!"

"Uh... yeah?" It was Lily who replied this time, uncertainty flickering in her eyes. "I was even going to ask why you did not tell us and why you let her perambulate around the place so freely." Shit! This is beginning to seem more serious than I thought it was!

"I had no idea," I said, risk g up toy feet that the tension in my body nearly pulled me back down. "I think she is planning something, she has a reason for poisoning herself..." I muttered under my breath, my mind thinking of all the possible things that could be going through my aunt's head. "... I think you set a trap."

"And you fell right into it," Mark stated with an accusatory tone. He was never in support with the whole idea of bringing my aunt back home with us. Everyone has wanted her killed along side the others or rather; left behind but I had been so persistent!

She had started to say things about my parents that I did not know, and I was hoping she could tell me what had actually happened with my parents on the day they died. Now my mother was back, I had no use for her any longer but I was hoping I could maybe help her and get her and Titus married in no time. Now... I really do not know if I still wish to do that!

"We have to figure out what she is planning," I said, looking from one person to the other. "Marcus is so mad at me and would not even listen to me, please help me," I pleaded.

He considered me for a moment, then sighed. "I can't believe you are getting me involved in this," he grumbled, earning a nudge in the side of his stomach from his wife, Lily. "Fine, let me just dress up and we; you and I-" "I am coming along too!"

"You. Are. Not," Mark gritted out through clenched teeth. He met Lily's stubborn glare with an even harder one, refusing to be the first to surrender to her. "You can forget about going anywhere, it is too dangerous!" "Stop acting like an asshole, I'll be fine!" She yelled back.

There was silence for a moment and I just stood with my mouth slightly parted, as I watched the drama unfold between those two. I did not have a second to spare for such shenanigans and I felt my patience slowly drawing closer to the limit. "You know your condition, It's not safe for you," he said in a much calmer tone of voice, like he was persuading her to see reasons with him. "I will go with Chloe, we will get whatever it is to be done and I will get back to you in no time," he said, a promising look on his face and it was unbelievable how I managed not to coo at how adorable they were with each other. Well, that only lasted untill...

"Rubbish!" She snapped back at him, which did not seem so adorable to me, at all. "What stupid condition do you speak about?! I am only pregnant and not handicapped!"

My mouth fell open as the news reached my ears. I lost track of time for how long I stood with my mouth open, but then; I was pulled out of the house and was descending down the stairs, when my angry friend's voice boom. "You can close your mouth now, stupid, I am only pregnant and I believe that that can't be so much as a shock to you?"

I shook my head. "It is not a shock, it is just... I don't know?" I shrugged, giving her a smile. She went to keep moving, but I pulled her to a stop, throwing my arms around her in a hug. "I also happy for you dear, I pray the baby comes out just as lovely as its parents."

"Nah," she said, as she put me at arms length to smirk at me. "I do not want it to look like the father, he is not lovely at all!"

I threw my head back and laughed. "You really are something, are you not? If my husband saw how you were with the Mark, he would stop saying how rebellious I am... you are a bigger rebel!"

She just gave me a little smile and we were already on our way.

Mark caught up with us, brooding as he moved behind us like some kind of guard. It was a good thing that I had both of them with me, I was going to confront aunty Chloe and I was going to do that now! I was not going to let her stay more than a day in my land, especially now that Lily and Mark had a baby on the way.

*

"Good morning Luna," the head doctor got up to his feet, bowing when he saw me enter. "Betas," he acknowledged, giving a bow to the couple who stood behind me. He waved his hand, offering me a seat and I plopped down on it. Mark and Lily stood on either side of me, as we waited for the doctor to have his own seat. I watched as he took his seat, sitting upright with his hand folded together on his desk, as he looked down at me from the brim of his glasses that rested at the top of his nose.

"I hope you know why I am here doctor?"

"For your aunty I guess?"

I nodded, feeling relieved that he also did not like to waste time with his words. "I need the full report on her health and how she has been the whole time." I stretched forth my hand. "Can I have the reports, please?"

His lips pressed into a thin line and I knew that what I was doing, was against the rules of the hospital. He looked reluctant and before he could open his mouth to speak, Mark repeated the order but this time, with a growl. "Right away!" his chair scraped against the floor as he hurriedly stood up, making his way in to the other part of the office, and shut the door behind him.

"Phew!" I sighed, dropping my stiff body against the the chair. "Why do I feel so much tension inside of me?" I asked no one in particular, but only received a pat on my arm from Lily. A minute and some seconds later, the doctor came in back with a huge file in his hand.

"Here they are Luna," he said, dropping the file on the table, but his hands were still gripping them tightly. I raised a brow at him and he gulped visibly, reluctantly sliding the file towards me. "Here are all of her medical records, shall I wait outside?"

My suspicion rose and I snatched the file out of his hand. "No, sit down there and explain every detail to me as I read," I ordered, pinning him to his seat with my glare. I only took my ears away when he dropped down into his chair defeated, fear whirling in his eyes.

**

One hour and about twenty minutes later; I left the doctor's office a very angry hybrid. I could literally feel the fumes coming out of my flared nostrils. It had come to my knowledge that her situation was not getting any better and that at some point, the doctor had noticed the rise in the poison, no matter how they had tried to remove the poison out of her. But the doctor claimed that he had gotten confused and scared, that was why he could not tell us about what he noticed.

The door to her room hit the wall and I barged in, just fast enough to see her flip her eyes shut. I shared a look with the others beside me and once I was sure that they had also seen her, I stomped over to where she laid, grabbed her by the shirt and lifted her roughly off the bed.

Wham!

I landed a blow on her stomach and she gagged, her eyes instantly flew open with shock. I delivered three more blows to her side and one to her face, before fling her across the room and her back hammered against the wall then her body fell to the floor with a loud thud.

"You little witch," she hissed, red eyes just like the colour of her hair, glaring hotly at me. "How dare you hit me, I'll kill you!" She got to her feet, charging towards me. But before she got to where I was, I shifted with vampire speed, tripping her over and she fell flat on her face.

"Get up," I said, grabbing her hair and pulling her face up to meet mine as I bent before her. "I will ask one last time and if you know what is good for you, I would advise that you answer truthfully... what do you plan on doing, that makes you take such poisonous substance just to have more time around here? What do you want?!"

"I want to kill you," she said, her eyes never wavering from mine for even a second. She used the back of her hand to wipe off the blood that was dripping from her nose, then wiped her stained hand on my coat. "That witch of a mother you have, not only stole my man, but she got my brothers killed!"

I opened my mouth to speak but she raised a hand, silencing me.

"Do you think me a fool not to know that that wizard, Dracula, had saved his daughter in the fight?" She scoffed, probably seeing the surprised look on my face. "You definitely did think me a fool after all," she muttered under her breath. "My mother died that day with my father, stop this nonsense you speak of and just leave! Never to return!"

She looked at me like I had said the funniest joke of the century and threw her head back, laughing hysterically which came off as that of a witch's cackle. "Of course I'll leave," she said when her laughter finally died down. "But, not without taking you with me," she said evilly.

The look in her eyes made me tremble slightly with fear and I looked back at Lily, who Mark had shoved behind him, putting up a defensive stance, in case if my aunt-no, Chloe. Incase Chloe tried to do any thing funny.

She made a sound and I turned back to look at her. "She is here already," she said, a wicked smirk sneaking its way to her lips. I head the door behind us open and all head turned to see who had entered, but saw nothing. A moment later, a woman appeared in the empty space and I would have mistaken her to be a vampire, but I knew that was not the way teleported worked. This one had practically appeared like she was using some magic and when she turned around, it only confirmed my suspicion.

A witch. The very one that I had seen at the bottom of the cliff with Lima that day, that had sank her poisonous talons into him and left him for death. The one that had been in love with my husband, and was now working with my grandfather so she could get rid of me. Therese, I remembered her name...

"Hey you kiddo," she said, raising a hand to wave at me. "Long time no see, remember aunty Therese?" She asked sweetly and there was something about that sweetness that did not sit well with me.

Grab onto me and let's get out of here!

She scoffed, making my eyes widen. "If I were you Mark, I will take my wife and leave, stop doing that whole pack link thing, I can hack into it with my powers and I just heard what your Luna ordered." She said, leaving me stunned. She looked back at Mark and Lily, her eyes changing a green colour and commanded them to walk away and not remember a thing of whatever they had seen. She had them under a spell!

"What have you done!" I roared, getting up and turning away from my aunt's body(which I later learnt was a very big mistake). "Why are you here?! What the hell do you all want from me?!" I yelled at the top of my voice, staying focused and guarded in case she was going to try casting some kind of spell on me.

"No sweetheart," she chuckled lightly. "I know that this would not work you, tried it a couple of times on your mother and it never manifested!"

"You know my mother?" I asked, surprise taking over my initial fear. I had mentioned her to my mother earlier, but not once did she admit to knowing the witch.

"Yes... we go a long way back," she replied. She shoved her hand in her coat and brought out something that appeared to be a gun. She then pulled out another syringe and when I looked properly; I recognized what it was. She placed it on the gun and I started to panic, as she pointed it at me. "This is only going to hurt but a little," she said.

Before I could move out of the way, my aunty grabbed my arms from behind, yelling for her to shoot. I struggled against her hold and boom!
