"Let's go," I said, turning around and began marching back to the party, while also breaking the invisibility spell. "Stay together, stick to one another and don't move unless I ask you to," I muttered slowly. They all grunted their response.

Our footsteps were now solid against the floor and we started to get attention as we approached. One angle of the circle parted, making way for me when I got there and even a bigger space for the men behind me. Marcus came to fall in place beside me, his strides meeting mine as we approached the couple at the end of the throne.

By now, everywhere was silent and we had gotten the Alpha's and Luna's attention. The wolf sat there, a confused look on his face, while the she-wolf continued to stare at me wide eyed. We halted in front of them. My eyes flickered to my aunt's for a second, then I returned my gaze back to her husband.

Marcus spoke up: "I am Alpha Marcus of Blackwood," he then turned to look at me, my heart racing as he stared down at me with sheer pride on his face. "And my beautiful wife, Luna Chloe of Blackwood. This is my Gamma and the rest are my finest warriors." He gestured at Titus and the rest of the soldiers. "You may know why I am here," he paused. "Or you may not, so I will tell you. I hear that you are in the wrongful possession of my Beta and I have come to get him!" In all of it, not once did I take my eyes off my husband. I turned to look at Sherlock, whose face had turned pale at the mention of our names. It made me understand that he had not even known me in person, but had only wanted to capture me. Why?

"And," I cut in before he could recover and say anything. "I would like to know why a tribe that rejected my father, turned their backs on him and killed him, would want anything to do with an unworthy half breed like myself? Why do you seek me out much and what do you want from me?!"

I heard a scoff and when I looked, I noticed it came from my aunt. It was obvious that she was still under the illusion that I did not remember who she was or maybe, she thought less of me. "Aunty Chloe," I stated, giving her a taunting look as she sat up straighter in her seat. "Long time, no see..."

In reply, I heard a funny sound and she also looked like she was about to choke on her spit. Her wide eyes slowly shrunk and some colour came to her face. She averted her eyes elsewhere, as she spoke: "I see you remember me," she muttered. "Then why did you come here?" She was conflicted and that almost got me confused. She had wanted me here, obviously, but now she looked sort of restless and her eyes kept flickering to her husband. She then gave me a very pointed look and I tensed when I heard her voice in my head.

Then, why did you come here!

That took me by surprise, but I replied almost immediately. I came to kill you!

I met her eyeball to eyeball, not once did I revert my gaze. She would be the last I would kill, however, I needed to know how I was still connected to her pack's link and how we could still communicate, even when I wasn't born into the pack. Fine! But before you do that, make sure you kill this beast beside me, he was the one who led to both my brother's death!

Oh Sherlock, my gaze flickered back to him. I knew him well. I remembered him from the fight, he had been right beside my uncle and due to Titus's findings, he had been betrothed to my aunty and had been the one who misled my uncle Tom intonating my father and turned the whole pack against him. He was going to not hold my hands and that, I will make sure of!

The aforementioned cleared his throat, gaining all of our attention to himself. He scanned us all, then his eyes narrowed when he got to me. "You! Finally, you have come," he gave off an evil cackle, earning a disgusted look from his wife(but it was so fast that I think I was the only one who saw her do that). "Seize them!"

At that exact moment, Marcus was in front of me, putting up a defensive stance. "Stand back!" He yelled, the other soldiers drawing out their weapons as we got surrounded. "Nobody comes closer! Or it's not going to end well for us all!" This was a bad idea, I told you, didn't I?!

I rolled my eyes, when I heard my husband's accusing voice in my head. It hadn't gone exactly as I thought it would, but that still did not mean I was not in control of the situation! I moved around him, stepping forward. "Freeze!"

Time stood still, alongside everyone at my command and I lowered my hands, laughing maniacally as I stared at my palms. Wow! Who knew I could ever control so much power? It felt like my body was out of control, and my demon had been talking a lot these days and strangely, I always obeyed whatever she asked me to do and it always worked!

I touched Marcus's arm, unfreezing him and he startled to consciousness. I saw his puzzled face, as he took in the surroundings. "Just in case you'd wanna know," I flexed my hands, giving him a wide grin. "I froze them all, including you!" "Another vampire ability?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. He smiled when I nodded vigorously. "So, this is the surprise you had prepared for me?" "Yes sir!"

"I am proud of you baby," he said.

We both turned back to the statue which sat with its mouth open and eyes wide, making me want to chop off his tongue and feed it to the fishes of the sea. Bloody damn Sherlock! Finally, I would give him his end but that wouldn't be a nice last speech, would it?
