Alpha’s Slave Luna
Chapter 102

Conrad's POV:

"Father, Mother, I have killed the enemy that destroyed our pack, but I miss you all so much, I miss seeing you again, I miss our home together ......"

The trembling voice reached my ears, and a pain passed through my heart as I looked at Otis' thin body.

She knelt helplessly on the blood-stained sand, her hands covering her tear-stained cheeks, then quickly plunging her hands into the blood-stained sand again. So was she so lonely inside.

My heart stirred in the moment, my hands clenched uncontrollably, the partner I loved was always there for me, but I didn't notice her heart.

Yes, we had all suffered a tragic experience, our clans had been destroyed, but Otis was not like me.

All her people were dead, all her relatives were turned into corpses, leaving her alone in this lonely world.

But I have others, I have Marsh, Clare, Wynonna and many others, I am not alone, my people have not all been destroyed.

Her heart is different from mine, she has a deeper and more remorseful pain that will come back when her hatred is over.

Her pain has to be above mine!

When I realized this, my heart became even more painful, like a pump was going back and forth inside me, making it hard to even breathe.

Damn it, I should have thought of something earlier!

I knew I couldn't wait around any longer and I put my hand on her shoulder, trying my best to comfort her.

"Otis ...... I know what you've been going through, but it's over, you'll be my Blue-moon Pack's Luna and we'll be walking together."

I spoke to her in a soft voice and let her into my arms, allowing the blood and sand from her hands to stain my body, and in this moment, I felt her trembling body completely.

I held her tightly in my arms as memories came to me in this moment.

I remembered when she had fainted with a fever and that was how I had held her, the same thin body, the same fragile trembling.

She had never been the same, despite the very great strength she had now gained, she had always carried all this pain inside her, she had always been herself.

Powerfulness does not make one person into another, but I was fascinated by Otis' gesture of resilience and gradual strengthening.

I suddenly realised that I had only fallen in love with her who had a strong heart and was always striving to be stronger, not with her who was weak and suffering with her memories. She had been carrying these painful memories to become stronger.

The pity and regret almost drove me crazy, how much she had to endure to be strong and suppress the pain that I didn't know.

How much she had to endure.

I feel that view of mine that looks down on the weak shattering, and if I had understood this earlier, maybe I could have made her, the partner I love, suffer less.

Not all people are like me, able to discard all pain in the process of becoming stronger.

All the underdogs who are able to survive with fortitude after experiencing pain, whether he succeeds in becoming stronger or not, are worthy of respect. For such a person is, at heart, a truly strong person.

"Otis ......

I stroked her hair compassionately, smelling her scent and letting my body wrap completely around her.

I was completely and utterly in love with her in this moment, whether it was her resilience or her vulnerability in the face of painful memories.

I was in love with her, with her past and her future, with everything about her.

Suddenly some cascade of voices rang out around me and I heard the warriors of the Dusk Pack shouting.

"Great King of the Werewolves, we are willing to submit to you!"

Their voices surprised me and my eyes looked around, beyond the blood-soaked path, the remaining warriors of the Dusk Pack were half on their knees. Their sincere and fearful eyes were fixed on me, the scent of blood rushed inside my nostrils and I even saw the trembling of some of their bodies.

Faced with such terrifying power as mine, they did not even dare to have any resistance within them, and I could feel their sincere emotions.

These warriors who had undergone professional training, after facing my absolute power now, didn't they now look like a group of weak people with no power. There is no absolute strength, strength is only relative.

Weakness is not a reason for me to look down on anyone.

My gaze swept over their subservient bodies, the warriors of the Dusk Pack, and I should have killed them all, but I hesitated at the sight of their current posture.

It was the older wolves of the Dusk Pack who destroyed my pack fifteen years ago; these younger warriors had grown up later and perhaps they didn't even know what had happened fifteen years ago. Just like the underdogs, I should not look at them with any prejudiced eyes.

Once again, a clarity came over me.

As I thought about it, I suddenly felt a power surge inside me, the voices of these Dusk Pack warriors echoing in my ears, and I looked at them on my knees with a majestic gaze in this moment. "In the future, I will build a werewolf kingdom where anyone can coexist and be united, welcome, you, my people!"

Just as my voice fell, the power within me suddenly became more ferocious, he made my entire body sizzle, and a sky blue glow appeared on my brow where I possessed the wolf pearl!

The light flowed around me as the wolf pearl flew out from my brow and I felt a crown appear on top of my head amidst the reverent gazes of all the Dusk Pack warriors! Memories surfaced inside my mind and a phrase appeared in my heart.

The werewolf who possesses the wolf pearl will gain great power and become a wolf king.

Otis's POV:

"In the future, I will create a unified kingdom where anyone can coexist, and welcome you, as my people!"

Surrounded by those warriors, I saw Conrad standing erect in the very centre, he opened his arms and with his majestic voice, a sky blue glow appeared around him.

I opened my eyes wide and could hardly believe my eyes at the sight before me.

The sunlight overhead was cast down from the sky, gold and azure intertwined, and in the midst of his incredible aura, that azure light transformed into a crystal crown that appeared above his head.

And as if those warriors around him had been confirmed in their minds, their eyes became more reverent, and there were some warriors in whose eyes the doubts disappeared at this moment.

"Great King of the Werewolves, we will submit to you and never betray!"

The rushing shouts were even louder than before, neat voices rushing towards the sky, and the leaves around them shook slightly amidst the tremendous sound, while Conrad's tall figure was at the centre of all of them.

Surrounded by the crowd, he seemed to be a king appointed by the gods, he seemed to carry an endless stream of light and stars, the sunlight of the sky flowed around him and everything around him seemed to lose its colour because of him. I was incomparably certain at this moment.

I had witnessed the birth of a true wolf king.
