Alpha’s Slave Luna
Chapter 103

Conrad's

POV:

"Great King of the Werewolves, we will submit to you and never betray!"

Their loyal cries rushed neatly up into the sky, and the power that rushed out of my heart flowed through my body, and in this moment I suddenly had a feeling. It was as if I could control that crown above my head, and I felt a mysterious power hidden within.

In the blue light, I tried to use my spiritual thoughts, and then the sky-blue crown once again transformed into a wolf pearl and fused with my forehead again. What was that mysterious power?

I felt that there was a power inside the wolf bead that I had not yet activated. I tried to lure it out, but I did not succeed.

Perhaps there was still some condition to be met?

As I was pondering, I suddenly felt the silence around me, which immediately stopped me from thinking.

I looked around, the warriors surrounded me, their shouting stopped and they were looking at me with a look of loyalty and expectation.

They were waiting for me to speak.

"All of you fix up and proceed to the Blue-moon Pack, which will be the birthplace of the kingdom."

"Do your will, great wolf king!"

At this moment my face turned serious and at the sound of my majestic voice, these warriors once again made a neat sound and began some simple repairs.

It seemed that since every strike I made killed the enemy, the remaining warriors who did not die were basically uninjured, which made them move quickly. While I watched them move without any hesitation, some doubts began to appear in my mind.

Although I now possessed absolute power, in the presence of power, there should be more fear, and even if they were submissive, it would be because of fear, not such a loyal gaze. What was the reason for this?

At this very moment, a light appeared in my mind, and I remembered the last voice of my old grandfather before he died.

In his words, it was revealed that Herder was now the Alpha of the Dusk Pack!

At the time I didn't think carefully about it, but now that I recall it, I understand that something major must have happened in Dusk Pack. Herder was not from this forest, yet he actually became the Alpha of Dusk Pack, which is not a simple thing at all. And if Herder was carrying the plague, why would these Dusk Pack warriors come here to surround us, shouldn't the plague be the most urgent matter.

My face became heavy at this moment, then I walked towards the crowd where a stronger werewolf was commanding the others, seemingly in the capacity of a captain.

As I walked past, he too looked over, bringing reverence into his gaze and dropping to the ground on one knee.

"Great King of the Werewolves, what are your instructions."

"Tell me of those things that have happened in the Dusk Pack in recent times."

"By your will, a month ago, the Alpha of our pack performed a divination before the altar of our ancestors, and the divination foretold that in the forest there would be a wolf king who would have absolute power and be able to rule over all werewolves!" At the sound of my voice, the captain of this warrior froze for a moment, he did not seem to expect me to ask such a question, but he did not engage in hesitation, but immediately sorted out his voice.

"After the divination was complete, a werewolf called Herder, who had never been seen before, claimed to be the King of Wolves and challenged our Alpha Jed, who defeated our Alpha with great power and claimed to lead us to rule over all werewolves!" The warrior's captain spoke in a respectful voice, yet I could hear some trembling within his voice, as if he was suppressing his anger with all his might.

"He was so powerful, just as predicted in the divination, that our former Alpha gave his place to Herder, who we had thought was the true king of the wolves, but we didn't expect him to bring the plague to our pack!"

"The plague?"

"Yes, after the last attack on the Blue-moon Pack, instead of thinking of a solution, Herder killed all the wolves who had the plague, and although this did stop the spread of the plague, it killed countless clansmen, including my father, Beta of the Dusk Pack!" His voice reached my ears and my doubts were cleared up a little.

So that was how they had tackled the plague, Herder had actually used such bloody tactics.

A very effective tactic indeed, but one that I could not have taken, not with my own hands, to kill the very people I needed to guard!

But when you think about it, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with what he did, after all, he was a Totem Pack man, Kazan's brother, a group of werewolves who claimed to have a noble bloodline, and ordinary werewolves were useless trash in their eyes. Damn, I wanted to tear their condescending mouths and faces apart.

"The captain is right, that Herder fellow is an impostor wolf king, a scourge that brings the plague, many of us young warriors' families have been killed by him!"

At this time, voices were raised from the other warriors around them, they seemed to be driven by the captain's words, each one venting their thoughts.

"Every time we Alpha Jed use our ancestral altars for divination it costs a great deal, Herder's power is very similar to that of the legendary Wolf King, even though many possess grievances they do not vent them, but on this day we learn the truth!" "Yes, the Alpha's prophecy was not wrong, but the Wolf King was not the Herder who popped up pretending to be the Wolf King, but you!"

"Damn it we have been deceived by Herder all along, until today we saw your divine posture and the crown with its divine power, we really understood what is the power of the Wolf King, you are our true Wolf King!"

"You are our great wolf king, we are stunned by your might, your power makes us worship, we want to follow you forever and rule the forest under your banner!"

"Shut up, the wolf king has not asked you to speak, you must not interrupt with impunity!"

Suddenly the captain growled angrily and the other wolves quieted down at that moment.

I looked at their agitated expressions suddenly with some consternation.

Earlier I had wondered why they would I had shown such loyalty, now I understood that it was actually because of Alpha Jed's divination.

It was his prophecy and my power that made these warriors so loyal to me.

It was a misunderstanding, but the divination did work in my favour to become the Wolf King.

Having figured all this out I had no more worries and I took a deep breath, then my tone became stern.

"Although you will be my people, I do not trust you completely."

Here, I paused for a moment.

"You will be doing chores in the Blue-moon Pack, on the same level as the rogues you took in before, and if any of you don't want to, you can come forward."

Right after I finished speaking, I had expected some of them to develop hesitation, but I didn't expect the neat voices I heard the next moment.

"Obey the Wolf King's arrangement!"

Such a quick voice made my heart skip a beat again, I didn't expect such a level of loyalty from them.

This was definitely a good thing for the Blue-moon Pack, and with the power of the Wolf Pearl, I would build a unified kingdom from the Blue-moon Pack where there would be no more wars or bloodshed. I will not let the bloodshed and the pain of losing my family reappear in the world!

Light flashed in my eyes as I looked at all the warriors once more, and then transformed into a wolf.

"All of you gather into ranks and head to the Blue-moon Pack, I will arrive first to tackle the plague of wolves."

"Solve the plague!"

Hearing my words, all the wolves appeared surprised, then the devotion in their eyes became stronger, I could even hear them whispering, they seemed to have some misunderstanding about me.

"The Wolf King is indeed possessed of great power, he is the real Wolf King in divination, it is the impostor Herder who is the disaster!"

"I always thought that Herder's power was something no werewolf could resist, but I saw the Wolf King's power today and I realised what real power means, he can definitely kill Herder and free our pack from Herder's control!"

"Yes, the Wolf King can not only kill Herder, he can also definitely make the stubborn faction of the pack that supports Herder regret their actions!"

These murmurs reached my ears causing me to shake my head, apparently they thought it was my power that could solve the plague, but I didn't have time to explain to them now that it was the antidote that Otis had brought back that could solve the plague. The midday sun had become even warmer, a change of heart on the way that had consumed much of our time, and my voice took on a heavy tone as I turned my head to look at Otis, who had emerged from his grief.

"Otis, the Blue-moon Pack is not far away, let's cross this forest at full speed."
