Alpha’s Slave Luna
Chapter 122

Conrad's

POV:

"Conrad, hurry up, I feel really bad, it's likely our partner has been hurt!"

"Carl, are you telling the truth?"

"You know, my instincts have always been very accurate."

I listened to my wolf's voice, anxiety spreading through me as I brought all my strength together in my body, allowing my speed to increase at breakneck speed.

All the movements around me passed through my senses to my mind, and I felt everything ahead of me with all my might, the power of the wolf beads being used to the limit.

But despite this my senses still showed no sign of Otis, and although my senses could cover a large area of forest, there was a range to it.

I could only sense everything within a hundred miles at most!

"Otis, you must hang on, as long as I come to you, nothing will be able to hurt you."

I gritted my teeth as I continued to run, any twigs or small trees that got in my way I didn't dodge, I used my strength to tear them to shreds as I made my way quickly in a straight line towards the front.

Behind me around the Blue-moon Pack had converged many wolves, the Blue-moon Pack's buildings were fading away in my perception, I don't know how long I had been running, when the Blue-moon Pack's buildings had some blurring in my perception, my body suddenly stiffened for a moment.

For I felt a figure moving forward at breakneck speed break into my perception!

"It's Otis, I've found her!"

Joy appeared in my heart, and in an instant I was sure it was her, for I could not imagine any creature but her capable of such speed.

A hundred miles of speed drew nearer quickly to my perception, Otis had outpaced even my perception as she had outpaced the sound, I could only sense the sounds coming from where she passed but could not catch her exact location.

I didn't know exactly how she was doing it, but I had a bad feeling about it.

Why was she running at such a speed, was she hiding from something, could it be a Dusk Pack warrior?

As the thought occurred to me I picked up my speed, the power of the wolf beads had long since fused with me and although I wasn't as fast as Otis, I was beyond the realms of normal life.

Running close to each other brought us closer with almost palpable speed, Otis' trajectory forming clear arcs in my perception, and when we were less than two miles away, there was a violent crash in my perception.

"No, Otis!"

Heartache seemed to come over me at the same time, and I finally caught her exact position at that moment, but she had fallen to the ground, even as I saw the silvery white glow disappearing from her body as she transformed into a human. What was going on, what was happening to her, and why had she suddenly fallen?

I continued to run towards the front until I saw the look in her struggling eyes.

Anger came over me, but at the same time it was accompanied by worry, because there are only two things that can happen to a werewolf if she transforms into an adult uncontrollably.

One is that the wolf within loses control.

And the other is that the body has been severely damaged, making it impossible to maintain the human form!

"Conrad, I can feel it, our mate has been seriously injured and she is now in crisis!"

My wolf was alerting me with all his might, I frowned and quickly made my way to her side, I was even thinking in my mind what kind of serious injuries she had received, but when I got a good look at her body, my eyes widened. There were no wounds, no trauma on Otis' body!

Doubt and shock appeared in my mind as I took her in my arms and looked at her carefully, but I still could not find any injuries on her body.

She was breathing heavily, her heart was beating fast and I could feel every muscle in her body trembling, but I couldn't understand why she was like this.

"What's wrong with her, why is she like this!"

"I'm not sure, I just felt that she was badly injured, but I'm not sure why."

I listened to my wolf's voice and my face turned pale as I looked closely at Otis and suddenly a very pure and clear scent was inhaled inside my lungs.

"Is this the snow elf the main doctor was talking about?"

I looked at the pack behind Otis and without thinking too much more, I immediately transformed into a wolf and carried Otis on my back.

"Otis has a strong self-healing ability, she was able to recover from her previous wounds, she will be able to do the same this time, I just need to get her to a safe and comfortable place."

I reassured the anxious wolf in me, and then I quickly sprinted in the direction of the Blue-moon Pack.

The antidote was already in Otis' hands, I just needed to give it to the attending doctor and the plague of wolves would be fully resolved, the shadow hanging over the pack's head would soon be lifted!

The damaged branches appeared ahead of me and I moved quickly along the route I had come, Otis' familiar body heat came from my back and I could feel her body trembling all the time, the worry that formed from this sensation felt like a stone sticking in my throat. She'll be fine, I trust my mate.

Just wait until she wakes up and I know why she is like this, and all the pain she has endured, I will make the enemy who hurt her suffer twice as much!

I swore a secret vow in my heart while I watched closely with my senses in the direction of the wolves, but I felt the wild wolves I was controlling stirring at this time.

"With all this commotion, did the Dusk Pack really choose this time to attack?"

My face hardened once again at the dense footsteps I heard in my senses, the familiar scent I smelt, and even the conversation of the Dusk Pack warriors.

Surely they had chosen this moment to sneak up on my pack, but I was now at least forty miles away from the pack!

Although forty miles wouldn't even take me twenty minutes, twenty minutes was more than enough time for a major battle to take place.

My still-recovering clan members could barely fight, which meant that the only way to fight them was with my wolves!

"No, the wolves I'm controlling won't be able to protect the pack for twenty minutes, they'll just fight subconsciously, there's no way to stop all the warriors from invading!"

Anxiety began to creep into my mind and I began to frantically think of a solution to the crisis at hand as I began to manipulate the power in the wolf beads with all my might.

I would be able to find a way, I could not let any of my people die in the battle, I, Conrad, would be the wolf king of the forest and I would save all my people from war!

As I thought of this, a sky-blue light appeared on my forehead, like an all-encompassing sky, releasing a vast majesty.

A mysterious power began to appear in my body, and my eyes widened at this moment as I understood the use of this power in a flash.

"Dusk Pack, all you werewolves who have chosen to sneak up on me, there will be no escape for any of you, I swear."
