Abby's

POV.

"It's nothing serious Jack... I am ... I am sure I will be fine soon" I stuttered as I was still lost in deep thoughts.

I turned to him and when our eyes had locked, he gave me a deep passionate kiss on my lips.

I felt that was part of the only thing that could soothe me at that moment considering the fact that I was so frustrated.

"By the way, what are you doing here?" I questioned immediately, he pulled his lips off mine slowly.

"What if I say I am here to stay with you, Abby?" He mentioned, making me Wonder what he was trying to unfold to me this time.

He had this glare of eye contact with me as his smiles were like that of a Unicorn ready to charm or compel me into its Kingdom.

"Don't you think you should reveal what you are trying to say to me in real terms?" I inclined with my ears all erected as they awaited the definition of what he meant earlier on.

"I will Abby, but first, you will have to tell me two things....." He bargained as he adjusted his manly body closer to me.

"What?" I whispered as I tried maintaining my voice.

"I see you are that eager, huh?" He kissed me at the end of every word he uttered to me.

"Come on Jack, I am having a bad day already, tell me what you want to know" I urged.

"Why are you home this early? And what did you have to discuss with the nurse at the hospital back then?" Jack threw a probing question to me which swept me off balance.

"What do you mean by dialogue with the nurse because I actually can't remember everything I talked about with the nurse, and I'm home early because I got sacked from work Jack" I responded in tears that I was trying so hard to conceal dropped from my eyes slowly.

"You were what?? How? Why?" He looked at me in bewilderment as he couldn't believe what his ears heard from me.

"It is unclear to me, Jack, but I guess my tenure in the school is over now......." I asserted while I cleaned the tears pouring from my eyes away.

"I am so sorry Abby, I didn't know you were going through a lot" He apologized with a warm embrace following his sweet apologies.

It was obvious that he had actually forgotten the fact that he asked me about the nurse discussion with me.

I couldn't tell him anything yet though, I just had to obfuscate the answer I gave to him.

I wasn't certain how he would feel knowing that I was pregnant....

"I am genuinely sorry, okay" He pulled me out of his grip as he gave me a kiss on my forehead with a grin on his face.

"Just like I said Abby, I am here to stay with you, okay..... I moved in" he apprised with his hands still grabbing my shoulder as his eyes locked with mine. "What??!!! You are the new intake?" I blurted out with my eye socket popping out.

"You just jolted me Jack" I notified as I still couldn't believe it.

Jack's POV.

Moving into a new apartment was one thing and arranging your stuff in the so-called house or apartment was another work all to itself.

I placed my hands on my waist as I watched my luggage being conveyed into my house or my new house by the gigantic guy with so many muscles all over his body.

I was doing this for Abby, I wished to be with her so staying close to her house wasn't supposed to be a crime right.

"Please!! Handle that with care... I wouldn't want my files in my system to get missing all of a sudden!!" I advised and looking at who I was talking to, I felt like peeing in my pants.

"How are you so hug?" I blurted out with my head's up as I tried looking into his red eyes.

"That was how I was created now if you don't mind, I have work to do. You aren't the only one willing to pay just to get his luggage transported to another location" He responded with a deep voice that even made me quiver in fear. He dropped the luggage on the floor without minding what I had told him about it.

"I guess it would be best to hire someone below you, so you could compel him anytime" I mumbled regretfully knowing what I had to go through controlling them to do things my way.

They were bigger than me, so it was quite impossible for them to listen to me as I was the little one in their midst.

I walked to the window to look outside the house for a short while, but I still had to hide my face, so Abby wouldn't see me.

It was obvious that she was going to leave for work soon, and I was going to make it look like a surprise to her that I just moved into the neighborhood.

I stood still as I watched the beautiful and most colorful birds fly and flaunt their beautiful wings on air like they were just waiting for someone to beacon on them.

I took in a deep breath and had to shut my eyes for a minute as the cool breeze that kept on hovering around the place came at me like I called it with my mind. "What a beautiful day it is" A smile escaped my lips as I felt the cool weather all over my surroundings

I was still engrossed with the feeling I had gotten from trying to play along with the environment when I suddenly heard Abby's door being slammed forcefully.

I opened my eyes and looked towards the direction of her house and realized that she was all dressed and ready to leave home for work.

She was cute in her suit and I would have loved to go help her out, but I was still eager to surprise her.

I inhaled and exhaled immediately as I watched her walk towards the highway. After a little while, she got out of sight, and I wasn't going to pursue her all the way to the highway just to monitor her..
