Abby's

POV.

He was about to take the magazine from where I kept it when suddenly, I went for his lips.

I kissed him so deeply that I wished he could do the same for me but then, he became stiff.

I grabbed his tie and was about to unknot it but his hand had caught mine in his strong grip.

"What is wrong Jack? Don't you love me anymore?" I inquired looking confused.

Jack has never refused to make love to me so seeing him do so made me scared that I was actually going to lose my man to other ladies.

"Can we just focus on the reason why I came here Abby?? Please!!" He let out with a cold voice which made me scared.

"But I.. I know you" I kissed him again but with his hands, he pushed me off his lips and glared at me.

I was definitely scared seeing a new attitude all over him.

"I will be taking my leave now Abby.. see you soon!" He asserted as he stood up from my bed, grabbed his jacket and exited my room without a word of what I had done to him. "What just happened? Did Jack just refuse my touch on his body?" I questioned myself as I couldn't place my hand on the right answer. Wedding day****

Abby's POV.

The birds that hovered in the air with their colorful wings being shown off to the people below it was so attracting that one could actually forget the fact that they had things to do for the day.

A smile erupted from my face as I watched them do their showcase in the sky under the clouds. They looked happy and it made my eyes glisten as I kept on admiring their lifestyle.

I took in a deep breath as I darted my gaze from the sky and had it fixed at the venue of the loading ceremony which wasn't that far from where I was standing or staying as the case may be. Wedding bells ringing so loud that one could actually tell from a close by town that a big ceremony was going to happen in Perusia in a short while.

There were beautiful red roses which had the shape of a heart to signify love and care placed all over the place like the church hall, the compound of the church and my room which I was in so I could wait for the groom to arrive at the wedding venue.

I was already well dressed in my blue wedding gown which had it's design like that of Barbie and the popstar in Disney world. I had actually selected the color blue because my first wedding which was with Alex didn't work out and I was putting bon a white gown. So it was best to put on my blue gown than go through a trauma wearing a white gown.

I loved my gown so much that I wished never to take it off after the wedding had ended.

I smiled knowing that it was going to be a great hour soon where I would stand in front of my husband Jack. The same man who I was actually tricking to be the father of my child.

I pinched the tip of my nose at the thought of the aspect that I wasn't being true to him.

Was still trying to get myself together when suddenly, the door opened with a bit of anger following suit.

"What the hell is taking him so long to get here Abby??? You told me he would be here before you arrived and just look at the hour!!!" My mom nagged with a fierce look on her face but trust me, I could sense fear in her tone at that moment. "Mom, ....he..." I stuttered as I wasn't yet prepared for the statement I was going to make or rather the lie I was going to tell.

I was actually going to lie to her about everything so she wouldn't bother me about Jack anymore but it didn't work out.

"Look you better do something meaningful before it happens again!! Have you tried calling him to know if he will come?" my mom asked as she came closer to me. I was kind of scared seeing her come too close to me though. "Good morning mom... I forgot to greet you when you walked into my room uninvited....... and yes I have called him mom. I'm sure he will be here soon!" I lied as I responded to her rudely.

I knew they were all just scared about the fact that Alex had messed me up on the day of our wedding just like today.

I couldn't just tell her that Jack wasn't picking up his phone either because that would cause a fight between her and probably me or my dad and trust me, it won't be funny!!

My mom wasn't happy that I got dumped at the alter on the day of my last wedding so she was only trying to look out for me to avoid sleepless nights, to avoid tears soaking my dress like I had just climbed out of a swimming pool. Truth is, I was scared myself but one thing was sure, I trusted Jack and was sure that he wasn't going to leave me at the alter....not after his promises to me.

"That's the best thing Abby.. so we wait till it's time to march into the church right?" She placed her hands on my cheeks with her eyes all moist.

She whispered few sweet words into my ear before she looked into my eyes one more time.

"I love you" She said to my face as she kissed my forehead gently with a smile all over her face.

"Thanks a lot mom." I appreciated it as I watched her turn into the most excited lady on earth.

"I will be back soon okay? Let's go check the caterer and the venue for my daughter's wedding " She said out joyfully as she ran out of the room I was staying in.
