Anything For You -
Chapter 104
"Hey what are you trying to do, moving your hands in the air like a stupid fellow? I told you we should move before we get notice by someone." Evanora was getting restless by now. She thought that if her magic didn't work here, then may be they could get noticed here too, because this place was far away different than the mortal world and the place she had visited with people back then. But the second moment, her lips got glued together and her eyes narrowed, emitting a murderous aura when she heard Valor saying, "SURPRISE.."
And they both got teleported to the inside of that royal castle, which was standing majestically in the snow covered surroundings.
Evanora couldn't register what exactly had happened. She only knew that Valor performed magic. They got teleported magically. At this moment, she only wanted to confront him. And without any second thoughts, she did it, almost yelling, "When you can do magic, then why didn't you do it before? We wouldn't have to walk that distance of miles."
Valor just hushed her immediately, and took her to the rear corner, which looked like their hiding place for the time being saying,
"Keep you voice down. It's not a mortal world, where we are invisible. Anyone can see us. For heaven sake, it's Fairyland, Lady Evanora."
Evanora nodded and pried over the sides to look for anybody who had sensed their presence but was relaxed when found no one in the corridor. She looked again at Valor, with eyes totally narrowed and brows crunched asking explanation, bit not saying any more words. Judging her expressions, Valor smiled faintly and replied softly,
"It's been decades since I had exiled from my homeland. The snow, the trees, mountains, birds, sky, valley, everything here is still the same. It's still soothing and calming. There is still peace in the air. I wanted to feel it. So, I just walked. But then, sensing you getting tired, I decided to use my magic."
"If you have magic, and of course you are a fairy, then why didn't you ever use it in the mortal world?" Evanora's questions were not abrupt, but they were enough to get Valor know that she was way more curious. He wasn't being secretive at all. What was there to be secretive of, when this woman ahead of him was here helping him!
"Well, since I had exiled myself from here on my own. So, I wasn't allowed to use my fairy powers and magic outside the fairy land. But since, I am back here now, so, I can use it to my will."
"But, you just said that anyone can see us! That means, you can make us invisible, right?" Evanora questioned further hoping to get a positive response, but Valor denied immediately saying,
"No, those are special A-ranked fairy powers. And those are not provided to any simple kind of fairy. I was a general, amd I didn't reach up high in the ranks, because I quit before that. So, I am sorry. But, I can't do that."
"Then what is the use of being a fairy, if you can't even do this simple thing! Anyhow, it's a relief that at least your magic works here. But I don't understand, why my magic didn't work?" Evanora folded her arms over her chest and asked standing ahead of him in a thinking posture.
"Are you sure that your magic doesn't work?" Valor asked her almost making her pissed off. She looked at him, asking 'Are you perhaps doubting my sanity?' with her eyes to which he just shrugged his hands off in air, and gestured her to give it a try once again. She clinked her fingers once again, rolling her eyes, chanting a spell. But all she was left was with surprise and a loud gasp, audible enough to any bystanders in the corridor. There appeared fairy wings on Valor's body, which were totally white in color and looked so angelic. The wings were flapping in and out, and fairy dust was getting scattered over here and there.
He looked at her surprised, because he was trying to get them off, but wasn't able to. He didn't even think that Evanora was testing her magic like this, making his wings appear instantly and controlling them also.
"Lady Evanora, now if you believe me that your magic is working here, then please remove your spell. We are not invisible, please. And see, the fairy dust from my wings is getting scattered all over this place. If anyone sensed us, we will be in a huge problem, because for everyone, I am out of the mountain with my father these days." Valor urged her almost pleading her to remove the spell. It was pretty awkward for him.
Since the day, he exiled from Fairyland, he had never used any magics and his fairy wings. But this witch made him helpless. She was still not understanding what had been happening, and unwantedly nodded to remove the spell, making him normal again. He looked more humane now.
"I must say, You fairies really look beautiful with those wings and the fairy dust." Said Evanora, trying to create a smoothness between them. But he didn't pay any attention and started to move towards the other end of castle, leaving her with no option other than to follow him there.
"Mr. Valor! Where are we going? Didn't you say that fairy girl was the one whom you were here for? Then where are we going now??" Evanora was following Valor and was whispering all sorts of questions. Because Valor had already warned her that they couldn't be invisible here, so she was Whispering in order not to get caught by the guards.
"We are going to see my Little Rat. It's her room this way, Lady Evanora." Valor replied totally nonchalantly, as if he wasn't at all bothered by anything for now. And this was true also. For him, his little rat was the most important one to attend to for now. Rest of the things could wait.
"Then what is the use of being a fairy, if you can't even do this simple thing! Anyhow, it's a relief that at least your magic works here. But I don't understand, why my magic didn't work?" Evanora folded her arms over her chest and asked standing ahead of him in a thinking posture.
They arrived at the door step of his little rat, who was walking like a queen in her room. Her angelic face revealed that she was the most beautiful girl in the whole of universe. Her golden magical wings were still flapped open, because she just entered the room from the north facing huge window and was now brushing her hair-locks with her slender beautiful fingers.
Valor was admiring her standing at the door-step. He was yearning for this moment since decades. And now, when he got a chance to finally admire her, he didn't want to let go of this opportunity. His little rat still as beautiful as she had always been, before he last saw her. She was totally into herself, not caring about the world and anyone else, murmuring something to herself, which made a satisfactory smile to appear on Valor's lips, urging him to say,
"She is still the same. Always talking to herself. My little rat."
Evanora was awestruck, watching all this. But she wasn't in love with that fairy girl like Valor and was in her complete senses. This, she poked Valor pulling him out of his fantasy world to the reality, with her eyes slightly narrowed as if reminding him the criticality of the situation. Her gaze was yelling him to not be a love-sick boy and pay attention to the task in hand.
Valor unwantedly averted his affectionate gazes from the beautiful angel, and looked at Evanora, understanding what she was trying to convey. His body stiffened, when he realized which day it was,
"She has only four days left to live more. I can't watch her in that situation once again. I can't.... I can't see her dying in front of my eyes once again. Lady Evanora, I just want to lock her this happy face into my eyes and soul for eternity, instead of that pale and dead one. So, help me out."
Evanora was just standing like a puppet listening to all he was delivering. If the fairy had four days, does that mean, they had to stay in this fairyland for four more days? Oh no! This couldn't happen at all. She couldn't stay here, she had to go back to Estella. She stopped her train of thoughts and asked him,
"What kind of help?"
Valor tightened his hands into fists, his skin almost getting pale because of tight fists, gritting his teeth hardly requesting Evanora,
"Take me to the future. Take me four days ahead of now. I will see what will happen and then get back to see her living happily, before departing from here forever. Only you can do this, lady Evanora. My magic isn't strong when I am emotionally upset. So, do it for me." He watched EVANORA's face turning ashen and pale listening to his request, this he assured her gently,
"Don't worry. You just have to teleport me. You stay here and watch our back from any dangers. Stay alert and I will signal you to pull me back"
