Anything For You
Chapter 103

Crossing all the sides of the mountains, the duo, Evanora and Valor reached up the highest peak of that mountain range. The view was mesmerizing and breath-taking. Anyone who would come here once, would wish to be here for the rest of his life. After all, heavens is a desire that everybody posses. And fairyland is nothing but a heaven in itself. Evanora's mouth was remained wide open witnessing the beautiful mountains, the white scenery displaying various colored surroundings majestically. For her, all her magic was nothing in front of just one peek at this pleasingly pretty amd eye-soothing view. For decades, she had been helping people in order to find contentment and satisfaction so that she could live away peacefully, but all that was nothing in front of this. There was something in this place which was attracting almost everyone and everything towards itself.

"It makes you forget every sorrow, joy, and every emotion that had pained you in the past or present, and leaves with you nothing with calmness. It's the beauty of my homeland." Valor's voice came like a shock to her mind which was roaming and playing like a child in the snow. She was pulled out of her trance and looked at him questioningly. He wasn't able to understand her questioning gaze and rose his eyebrows in return, to which she asked turning her stature towards him facing his angelic face which was shining because of the falling rays of a beautiful sun-like star sticking in the sky of fairyland,

"if this place is so good, and it makes you forget everything, then why did you leave it? If it makes you forget your past, your pain, your all sorrows, then why were you in the mortal world, searching for me, even after being a fairy?" Evanora asked him, which made him only chuckle initially and then he replied with a sophisticated tone which carried a lot of hurt and pain,

"Hmm, it's true that this place makes you forget your sorrows. But, in this whole universe, in all the realms, wherever you go, the pain of loosing your love, will never be soothed. No matter where you rest, may it be fairy land or mortal world. The pain, eats you up and chews your whole self, leaving nothing but only hollowness behind. And that hollowness,....(he looked up towards the sky, and then towards his feet which were covered with snow, but he wasn't able to feel any cold)... engulfs you all."

His words were so heavy. They weighed so much, that for a moment, Evanora found herself getting drowned in his sorrow. For a moment, she felt like she was herself Valor and was experiencing the same pain. When people say that, if nothing connects you to the others, then find something painful, it's the only emotion which is enough of a reason to be humane even with a demon. She didn't understand it back then, but from the past days, she had been experiencing it, and now was bale to understand it. Valor found her lost, looking at him, as if he was a pathetic child who had been orphaned. He immediately snapped his fingers in front of her eyes, bringing her back to her senses, and made her clear,

"Don't do it. I don't want you to pity me."

Looking up ahead, he narrowed his eyes and then gazed towards the downward settlements, where people lived. Moving ahead, he just announced, leaving the witch all on her own,

"If you don't want to be struck here in snow, then just follow me. We have to reach down the mountains, because that's the place where I will find her."

Both of them headed downwards talking about the commons and uncommon things while in the way. Almost reaching there, Evanora sat down over the snowy ground, speaking tiredly, pressing her legs and feet, which were sore by now,

"I didn't know that, travelling in snow without magic is this much tiresome. I am tired, I can't walk anymore. Just stay here for some minutes."

Valor sighed and nodded his head in agreement because he was left with no other options. Without Evanora, he wouldn't have been here in the first place. Just when, he was about to settle down besides her, his eyes glistened and sparkled with joy, and he started shouting,

"She, she is here... see, Evanora. She is here. We can't rest now. We have to move. Get up, nowww."

Before looking up, Evanora already knew that whom he was talking about. It was none other than the girl, he had loved, and he was here for. She was indeed a beauty. She was flying in the sky above the highest mountains and was retreating towards the huge building, which looked like a castle. Evanora hauled up and spared a glance to the vanishing figure of that pretty fairy once again, before enquiring,

"Are you sure? And what is that building? It looks like some sort of a castle? Is she a fairy or a princess?"

"I am sure. She is my little rat. I can recognize her from miles, because she was the only one who had beautiful golden wings. And yes, she is the princess of fairyland."

As soon as he finished saying those words, Evanora immediately announced,

"Now I get it. She was a princess and you must have belonged to a common family. You loved her, but because of different backgrounds and huge difference in statuses, the king wouldn't have agreed for your marriage. He must have thrown you out of the kingdom for this considering it as a tyranny. Because she lived you too, so she ended her life after you were exiled. Am I right?"

Valor found her lost, looking at him, as if he was a pathetic child who had been orphaned. He immediately snapped his fingers in front of her eyes, bringing her back to her senses, and made her clear,

Her storyline was something valor wouldn't have imagined. And he couldn't help but ask her,

"Have you got hit by something in you head? And what does this all mean? Are you thinking what you are saying? I don't know about your mortal world, but here in fairy land, nothing like these things happen. The rules and different here. If you love someone, and you are worthy, you will definitely get a chance to win his/her heart."

He then sighed helplessly, and said,

"But no matter what, fate is a thing which overpowers everyone, may it be a mortal or a fairy. And the same happened with me. Before I could even confess my feelings, she was gone, for eternity and now I am left alone, standing here again, in this endless abyss, wandering in search of just one drop of happiness.

We are here, because I want to know what exactly had happened back then. I want to know, if there Is any possible way of finding her back and making her alive. I will do everything I can to bring her back, my little rat."

"But what if she doesn't love you?" Evanora's question pierced his heart like a sharp pointed arrow and broke it into millions of pieces. He didn't even think about it once. She was always his good friend, what if she had never loved him?

"I didn't even get the chance to know this. And if what you say is true, if she doesn't live me, still she will be my little rat, as she was always. She was my friend and my well-wisher first, and then my love. I am not someone, who would stake his friendship for his feelings, Evanora."

The witch was impressed by this young fairy ahead of her. She never thought that he was emotional, yet a strong-hearted man. A man who can cross the barriers of land and times just to witness his lover living safely, could ever be so strong to let go everything if times demanded this! She was amazed and baffled at the same time.

Patting over his shoulder, she suggested,

"Don't worry. May the right thing happen. And I think we should move now, before it's too late. That princess fairy of yours had already entered the castle. We have to reach there, without being noticed. But I am very depressed to mention that, my magic isn't working in your homeland. So, Mr. Valor, we are on our own, now."

Valor chuckled a little and then just moved his hands in the air, which gave Evanora a sense that he had gone nuts, but little did she know what exactly was he doing.
