Chapter 106

-ROYAL CASTLE, FAIRYLAND (IN THE PAST, BJT VALOR IN FUTURE)-

Here in one side, Evanora was still standing glued to her same spot, alone, waiting for Valor. And the other side, Valor was teleported to the same castle and same spot four days ahead. He was also standing alone on the same spot, he stood earlier. He looked here and there to find Evanora, because everything happened so fastly that he wasn't able to notice. But looking here and there and not finding Evanora, he understood that he was now in future.

Then his gaze travelled outside the castle and no noticed a change in the atmosphere around the castle. Everything looked gloomy and disheartened as if something bad had already happened. He shrugged off the feeling and slowly his feet moved towards the direction of his little cat's room.

Reaching on the spot, he slightly pushed the door and found no one. He was surprised amd shocked at the same time, and was not able to decipher what was happening. Did he land into another time zone or another dimension? Because as far as he remembered, this day was the last day of little cat. And she wasn't here in the room, then where else she could be ?

He was still into his own thoughts, when he heard sudden noises and his chain of thoughts broke. The noises kept on getting louder and louder with every passing by moment. He couldn't help but move towards that particular direction.

When he approached that section of the castle, he found every royal member in there. And then he realised that he had been in the royal court. But what was so important happening here that the always relaxed fairies were getting anxious and talking so loudly? Soon, his eyes averted and his little rat came into the vision.

Finding her all sound and safe, he was so happy and relaxed. But wasn't able to understand exactly what had happened? How can she be fine? Did really something happen to her or it was just his illusion back then? He started to doubt on himself. But because he was teleported, he wasn't able to get inside the court without getting permission. And in no way he was going to ask for permission, because of the fear of getting caught.

Suddenly, an idea popped up in his mind. He clinked his hands together and made a slight pinching sound, closing his eyes. The eye color changed and he activated his magic successfully. Now, he didn't need any permission to enter the court. But still, it was a risky thing to do. Because, if anyone noticed his presence here, then they would surely understand that he was not the real Valor and an intruder. Under no circumstances, he could afford that.

So, be choose to stay put and out of the court in a hiding spot from where he could see and listen to everything happening inside without any failure. For that, he activated his other set of powers which were bestowed to him after he won a competition back to ages in fairy land. Soon, a faint creamy glimmer emitted from his body and got spread in the Courtroom.

Now, he was able to see and listen everything without getting inside and getting into notice. It was a smart move. He was happy to know that his little rat was still fine and living. He never gave any chance to other thoughts, but it was already too late and the past couldn't be changed.

Soon, the scenario ahead of him changed like a movie clip and there appeared a room. The room was crowded with people or fairies. They were all looking very sad and heart-wrenched as if something totally unexpected had happened. He wasn't able to get it, until he gave it a narrowed look.

Prying over the surroundings of that particular room, he came to the conclusion that this room belonged to none other than his little rat. But why was everyone gathered here? Little rat was a princess and not many people were allowed inside her room. But here, every other fairy and creature was present.

His heart was sinking thinking of all the bad possibilities. He still wasn't sure of what was happening. How the courtroom suddenly changed to little rat's room! And why these people were here surrounding a particular spot! He was slowly understanding the things. His heart was starting to bleed the blood which was yearning for his little rat and her safety.

The day, the snow, the trees, the castle, and everything was still the same, but the scene in front of his eyes was changing continuously, making him afraid and send shivers down his spine. He was getting restless every moment that he was standing there. Before he could understand anything further, a loud crying voice echoed in the dangerously silent castle.

It was none other than his little rat's mother, who was crying pathetically. With her loud and louder cries, the father and other family members also whimpered, making him understand that his love was no more. Because, it was the same situation again. Back then, when he came here to see his little rat, this was what he saw. His legs got heavier and he felt it very difficult to move from there.

He didn't had the courage to face all those emotions once again. He came here to witness his love being safe and sound, and had planned to go back before he come across this again. But all his plans got watered, when the same thing happened again. His Nerves were getting tightened and perplexed, making him frown harder with tears glistening in his cute angelic eyes.

The body of him became so heavy and numb, that he was feeling his own weight on his legs and shoulders. His head became too heavy to think anything. All he wanted was just to rush towards his love and scoop her up in his arms, hiding her from everything. He wanted to take her away from all this. The surging emotions were way too strong that his judgement got clouded and this affected the red beaded thread.

Now, he was able to see and listen everything without getting inside and getting into notice. It was a smart move. He was happy to know that his little rat was still fine and living. He never gave any chance to other thoughts, but it was already too late and the past couldn't be changed.

The bright glow soon started to flicker, and his body was getting faded into thin air. On the other side, Evanora noticed the sudden change in that beaded glow using her powers and understood that something bad already happened and Valor wasn't ready to face it. She had been trying to alert him and started to send him signals warning him to stay calm.

She knew if he had found out the truth, he must have signalled her to pull him back. But he did no such thing and instead was now struck in an emotional whirlpool. All she could do was hope for him to be fine. She sent him a message through her spells, yelling him to stay calm and composed, to keep himself focused, and reminded him the purpose of his visit.

He got her message and his body became stiff as if he had been struck with something hard. Hearing EVANORA's voice inside his head, he came out of this emotional trauma, realizing what just happened. Composing himself, he said,

"This has already happened. I can't... I can't change it at all. All I can do is find out what had happened and how to change it! Yes, Valor. Get yourself tight and be strong. You have to do it for your little rat."

Self-motivating, he wiped away the tears and cleaned the tears stains over his face, not letting him fall on his knees because of his upset emotions and closed his eyes. Using magic, he looked into that pool of people standing inside the room and found that they were all surrounding his little rat, who was no more by now. Her beautiful angelic body had already turned pale and lost its freshness.

Her hair, which looked like a falling waterfall, were turned fizzy by now and her slightly parted lips which he always wanted to taste were no more juicy. She was not his love now, but a corpse, a dead one, who took his soul along with her. Before his emotions could take over him again, he strengthened his body and kept on using the magic.

Connecting with her soul, that just left her body a while ago and was wandering inside the room, looking at everyone, he found his happiness once again. She smiled at him saying,

"You came back for me? Well, I must say, right now only you can hear me. But why are you doing this, Valor?"

His happiness had no leaps and bounds, hearing her. He realized that she knew, that he came from future. All that seemed so unrealistic, but he had to give it a try in order to know everything. Thus, he smiled faintly looking at the fresh flower like girl ahead of him, "Little rat! How have you been? You know, I missed you so much!"
