Chapter 109

-ROYAL CASTLE, FAIRYLAND (IN THE PAST, BJT VALOR IN FUTURE)-

The duo approached the room where that beauty was sleeping in an endless sleep, from which she would never ever wake up. Evanora took the lead and approached ahead of Valor. Since they were cloaked by her spells, so, nobody was able to notice them. But still, they had to be extra cautious given the fact that they were in fairyland, and everyone here was powerful enough to detect the unwanted presence.

Valor was made to stand outside in a rear corner from where he could only see the actions of Evanora, and not his little rat. At this moments everything that he kept on holding since decades or precisely saying centuries, seemed to be slipping through his hands like sand grains, even after he kept on tightening his fist. He understood that, he couldn't get lost in there and had to move on. This was the right time and the right decision.

Evanora stood inside the room blankly, and kept on trying to look at the beautiful girl lying over the bed. To her, it was a pathetic end. That cute little fairy girl didn't deserve a y of this, when it wasn't even her fault. But still, everybody had to bow down against Destiny.

She marched forwards slowly, taking little and baby steps, not to alert anyone present there. And made her way towards the girl. Spotting her face, she felt as if she had seen the girl somewhere. But searching all through her mind, pressuring every nerve and cell of her body, she let it be because she wasn't able to remember it anymore. Shrugging off the thought, she took the task of priority in her hands and that was to search the soul.

But by bit, she called for all the stuffs that she would need in, and then bent down to pluck out a hair from that sleeping girl, with a heavy heart. Making her way out slowly again, she approached Valor again, with beaming eyes. It wasn't an easy task to get in and pluck out a hair strand without being noticed by anyone. All thanks to her cloaking spell.

They both moved away and towards their hiding spot. In the past few days, they realized that this section of the castle had least security, because the guards, who usually visited 10-20 times a place, just patrolled 5-6 times a day in this section, and they were able to dodge them easily. It's true that you always don't need to fight. Sometimes, you can win without fighting too. And here, the situation wasn't even up for a fight. All they had to do was just keep them cloaked, till they finish their work. "Valor, I got her hair strand. Now all I need is some neccessities which we would be using to trace her soul and you."

Valor's eyes watered immediately, and a huge lump was choking his throat. But he was constantly reminding himself to be extra strong, and not to be weak. He was forced to engulf that lump, which made him whisper,

"Necessities, I understand. But me..!?" His question wasn't useless too. But he forgot that this time, they weren't teleporting him, but were trying to connect with a soul and that too of a princess fairy. Explaining him, Evanora slightly peeped here and there, "Look, she is the one whom you had been searching for. She talked to you. I mean her soul did. And she said that she is around you somewhere. Now when I have her hair strand, and my supplies, I need something to channelize. And It can't be this pillar. Because, this pillar belongs to her castle and not you. If you want to know her relation and connection to you, then I need to channel you, your energy. Only then, we will be able to connect to her soul. And we need to hurry before she leaves this place." Understanding her words, Valor nodded his head in agreement and got ready immediately. Grabbing all her supplies, which included the sand from mortal world, a piece of sky of fairyland, a red string (which represented the connection of living body with the soul in any life), a piece of white silver thread (which was actually going to connect them to her soul), some water, and the scent of that blooming maroon flower plant, since the girl adored it. She kept them all over the floor and sat down then and there. Arranging all the stuffs in a particular manner, she drew a red circle around Valor, who was made to sit inside it with eyes closed. Drawing a star pattern from his body towards the ends of that red circle with that white silver thread, she handed the other end of the thread to him, and in his other hand, she kept that hair strand of his little rat. The five things as water, the flower scent, a piece of sky, some sand of mortal world and the water, were all arranged around the corners of that star over the red line. Sitting outside that magical circle, she sat close-eyed, and warned him,

"No matter what happens, you are not allowed to open your eyes at all. You will be connect with her soul, which is way more powerful than her living self. If you get lost there, I won't be able to pull you back. So, keep on holding to that white silver thread and keep your eyes closed. And the most important thing is .... DON'T LOOSE FAITH."

Valor nodded his head and she started to chant the spells occasionally splashing some drops of water and the sand, over that scent of flower and Valor's hands. Soon, a flicker started to appear in front of his closed eyes and this was an indication that he was getting connected to her soul.

They thought that Valor would be connected with her soul, but something strange happened and Evanora was pushed back and with a loud thud, she landed over the marble floor, with the sand in her hands and eyes shut tightly. Valor wasn't aware of all this, and kept on following what the witch told him to do. But Evanora understood what had been happening.

She knew she had to do it, and immediately, she heard a sound,

"I am not here as a whole. I am shredded. I am in pieces. If you want to search me, find me, then you have to collect all my soul-pieces. And remember, those are for good and evil. If your intentions are good, they will strengthen my powers, but if they are evil, they will harm me equally.

I am not little rat, I am a soul. A soul.... Which is now sliced up into seven different parts." Saying that the sound stopped buzzing inside her ears and her mind was flashed with so many faces, which looked different and from different time-periods. Those faces belonged to none other than the soul, and they were exactly seven in number. Showing Evanora, the sound again buzzed,

"Now you have all the knowledge of what I am, who I am, and where I am. But it is only because you are helping him. (The sound meant Valor). Now, you have to leave from here, or you will get yourself tucked in a huge problem." Saying that the sound vanished and everything went back to normal.

Evanora opened her eyes, only to find that she was still sitting in the same posture and Valor was also sitting with his eyes shut tightly. Looking into his mind, she found that he know nothing at all. So, she decided to keep it up to her. If the sound and the soul choose her, that means she had to complete what it said, not Valor.

Removing all the spells and getting the neccessities back to their original places, she woke Valor up. He opened his eyes and became dull and lost the next moment finding that he wasn't able to connect. But EVANORA's words took him back, "Valor, Hurry up. We have to leave right now. It's not safe anymore."

"But how can we. I didn't get through her. I wasn't able to talk to her. We don't know where she is, then...!" He denied. He didn't want to leave Empty-handed. But Evanora cut him amidst saying,

"I have gathered the information. All we need to do is just leave from here, right now. We can get through her in mortal world."

Understanding her urging, he nodded and they both stood up quickly to travel back to mortal world. Just when Evanora was about to chant the spell, something flashed her mind, and she instead called for a Gold pot of the size of a palm. Witnessing that pot in her hands, Valor narrowed her eyes and the next words from her side left him shocked and surprised.
