Chapter 108

-ROYAL CASTLE, FAIRYLAND (IN THE PAST, BJT VALOR IN FUTURE)~

"But Mr. Valor, you know that we can't take any risks. And if you would go to see her, I am afraid, your emotions would take over you, just as happened some time ago. Do you think that you would be able to control yourself, after you see her?"

Evanora was very sure about this thing, that Valor would not be able to face his love and again he wouldn't be able to bear that pain. Valor would not be able to decipher things. According to her, he had already been emotionally upset, and wont be able to face all that again. But then his assuring voice echoed her ears.It wasn't loud, but was strong enough to let her know that he wont fall again in front of his emotions,

"Don't worry, lady Evanora. I wont be weak. I know what I am doing and why I am doing. Rest assured."

His feet moved towards the direction of that room, where his love was resting unaware of the future, that was going to bring disasters. He took long strides and approached the door, slightly pushed it, after finding it open. Usually, there were guards always, but what happened today? There wasn't even a single one outside of her room.

"Well, it's a good thing though." He said to himself and stepped inside oy to find out the angelic beauty sleeping soundly over the large king-sized peach pink color bed. She was always in love with colors. Although, fairyland had most of the things as whites, but whenever she found anything new and different colored, she used to treasure it.

He chuckled remembering the past incident, when she almost cried in the middle of their road trip, just because she had spotted a maroon-cream colored flower plant blooming in the way and wanted to have it. But because it was prohibited to pluck flowers in fairyland, so Valor didn't allow her. As a result, she turned her puppy eyes into teary ones. They were teens at that time. Only he knew, how difficult it was for him to console her.

But she just became normal after getting him to promise that he would gift her same flower plant. For that he had to talk to the herbal fairy and almost persuaded her to give a plant to gift his friend. But everything was worth it, because she was happy. He was amazed to notice that, this room was exactly the same he left decades ago and the same flower plant was present beside her bed-side window blooming in its fullest glory.

Sitting besides her, he gently stroked her hairs lovingly, Whispering,

"Little rat, I wont let you go. Don't worry at all. I will be there for you always."

Hearing him, she just moved in her sleep, scaring him to the core. Je was afraid of being caught, because to everyone, he was out of the mountains these days. If anyone witnessed him here, it would be a ruckus. Thus, he retracted his hands and sat silently besides her.

After a long 5-6 hours time, he sat up when Evanora mind-linked him to call him outside. The day was almost down, and the faint starry glow was observed in the sky of fairy land, marking it the end of this day and soon, many bright stars were appearing one after the other, lighting up the night sky like it was a wedding.

The view was so soothing and perfect, but there was uproar in Valor's heart. The future was approaching, and all he could do was just wait. He wasn't able to do anything, till the exact moment arrived. So, he only had to wait, which was a hectic task. But at least, he had company here, that too of a powerful witch prodigy.

Sitting besides Evanora, they had been now able to cloak themselves. He realized it and couldn't help but ask her,

"How did you do it? I mean... it wasn't possible in the day, but now we are cloaked. How...?"

Evanora gave him a slight smile in response and responded back saying,

"Well, Mr. Valor, you have your little rat to spend time with. But I am alone here. So, besides practicing my magic, I had nothing else to do. And I must say, it was really very hard to get through. But after all...." "After all, you are Evanora Youngblood, the Witch Prodigy. How can fail...!" before she could finish her words, he did and both chuckled hardly.

"Lady Evanora, I must say that you have a great amount of magic under your sleeves. And I loved that paper sparrow a lot. Though it was a bickering one, but It was cute one. How did you make it? Could you teach me?" Valor was easing up and opening up slowly. There was nobody other than Evanora by his side. So, he was left with no other options. Besides, she was generous to him.

"You really want to learn?!" Evanora was amazed to learn that he wanted to learn magic from her. She was no doubt a witch, a very powerful one, but he himself was a fairy. If he was asking her to teach something, it only meant that she was really good at it. She boosted to herself in her own mind and nodded immediately.

Both of them got indulged in the magic practice, and soon Valor learned it.

"I must say, you are a quick learner." Evanora complimented him and he just rubbed his neck shyly. It had been a long time since he relaxed after coming here.

Days kept on passing and soon it was the last day. The day when everything was going to happen. All Valor had to do was just stop his little rat from going outside the castle. This was the only way to ensure her safety and life. He tried it numerous times, but all in vain.

Although he was a fairy, but there was something called "Fate", which cant be controlled. You are bound to meet your destiny, no matter how hard you try, and no matter who you are, a fairy, a demon, or a mortal. It comes to everyone. The same happened with him. The girl for whom he crossed all the seas and boundaries of time and eternity, was no more. This time, it was far more painful to let her go for him. He was just standing away from the crowd, on the same spot where je stood when her soul talked to him back then, hoping to see her again in flesh and blood.

But you don't always get what you desire. She left, but something was different this time. When he last saw her dying, her body was ashen and face pale, her hairs fizzy and lips lifeless. But this time, it was different. She looked as fresh and as pure, as she was when she was alive. Her golden hairs were still like a waterfall, and her scent was still refreshing. But her wings were slowly getting detached from her body.

"My daughter, I want my daughter back. Please so something. Please, talk to Goddess of life, husband. I ... my daughter." Valor was pulled out of trance when these words reverberated in his head. They belonged to none other than His little Rat's mother, who was a fairy too.

She was urging her father. Everybody was sad and in pain. Nothing could be done now. Their daughter had gone. Out of anger and pain, Valor punched the side-by pillar. Evanora who was standing a little away from him witnessing everything, immediately rushed to him and tried to calm him down saying,

"Valor, no matter what you do, and how many times you do, she is destined to leave. You cant stop her. Let her go. Let her soul rest in peace. You have to strengthen yourself." Her words were soothing, yet piercing his heart moment by moment. He looked at her with eyes full of hopes and she just denied,

"Don't think about that. We cant do this again. We are in past. We already visited the future in this past. We cant go back to the past in this past, Valor. You ... you have to let go now. Please " saying that she rubbed his shoulders making him calm, and he nodded. But before they were about to leave, he remembered something and stopped,

"She told me to look around her, Lady Evanora. She said that... she was somewhere around me. It ... it means that, if not in flesh and blood, her soul is somewhere close to me. Help me with this, please."

Evanora knew it was going to happen since the moment he told her everything. She had already sensed it coming and was prepared for it. Assuring him with his eyes, she said,

"Hmm, its good. At least, it will help you to move on. Lets try to find out, where her soul is?"
