Anything For You
Chapter 116

"Hey, you are back so early? It's like you just went there, handed her whatsoever she wanted and came back from the door itself." Valor questioned Egon, who was just at the door steps of the rest house. He was just about to enter in, when Valor who had been sitting with Estella saw him, and asked him. Egon who looked lost and pathetic, was still bewildered and in his own world, got snapped out immediately and looked at Valor. He didn't understand how and when he reached back, but just reached. Not answering to his questions, Egon stepped in the balcony, only to spot Estella enjoying her morning tea, who just smiled warmly at him, which made his heart bleed. Never in his dream, he had a slightest bit of an idea that he would be reason of this sweet girl's pain. Unknowingly, his lips formed into a warm smile, but it never reached his eyes, which didn't go unnoticed by Estella. Approaching him, she touched his forehead looking worried,

"Are you okay? You seem lost somehow." She asked him and earned a slight nod in response. Not dragging the conversation, she directly jumped on to the next question,

"What did lady Evanora ask in return? I heard Valor telling me that you excused yourself early in the morning, with a bag. What was it?" Her raised eyebrows, and the questioning tone was making him more numb and silent. Still, he knew this was the moment. He had to face her. He had to do it he had to tell her the truth. Sighing a long and heavy sigh, he replied lowering his head in a lowest possible tone,

"I ... she asked for the urn." Though valor was standing by his side, yet he couldn't hear it out. But she heard it. She cross-questioned again,

"An urn?! What sort of demand is that? I mean, she doesn't lack the expensive and antic stuffs. Beside what was that urn about, that she was so interested into it..!" Before Egon could reply back, they heard Valor saying,

"You know her, Estella. She won't ask and do anything without a reason. May be that urn is of great importance to Egon. Or else what would she do with just an urn made of sand or whichever material it was."

Not letting both of them guess any more, Egon announced,

"It was yours Estella. I mean, it was mine, but it belonged to you, your... your parents." His stuttering tone and softest voice was enough to let her know about which urn he had been talking. If he was saying it, does that mean... he.. No No No..! Estella was now in daze. She wasn't in a state to register all these, and ended up asking,

"Did king pass it to you?" Her question was way too simple, and Egon just had to answer her in yes or no, or he could just nod or shake his head. But the courage he had back then, was all plucked out from his body, and he was nothing but a poor man standing in front of the girl, he wanted to cherish forever.

Mustering up the last ounces of courage, he replied,

"Yes. I ... I found my father's last letter in that urn. He told me to hand it over to the dead couple,... I mean your parents' last relatives. Trust me, I didn't... I didn't know that you were their daughter. I would never be able to forgive myself ever for what happened to you." Saying that he just dropped his stiffened body over the ground like a lifeless leaf detached from the main plant, and kneeled in front of her.

He was pleading, his eyes were flowing. All his kingdom was nothing if he offer her anything. Still, he continued,

"I know all that id my fault. I wanted father to hunt that deer. But he ended up killing your parents, Estella. All this is my fault. Please I apologize to you. Punish me, punish me Estella, punish me. Only then, will I be liberated from this. Please......" his loud sobs could be heard everywhere in the balcony and in the porch area.

Akhim, who had been beaming was coming to this side, spotting Egon entering the rest house to inform him that they could leave now, but what he heard, made him stunned and numb too.

"Oh Lord, Estella is that girl! Your Majesty (late king), I don't know if I would be handle Egon this time!!" he was standing aside witnessing everything. Since it was matter between the two people, he was no one to interfere. May be Estella would spare Egon after listening to his Truth. He just hoped that.

The other side, Valor was also stuck by lightening, when he came to know about this. He wasn't aware of Estella's past, but listening to Egon, it was clear that those two were connected. Realization hit him hard, and he immediately caged Estella in his broad arms, hiding her from everyone, yelling at Egon,

"Just stay away from her. You are a murderer. Your one wish killed her parents. Do you think that your apology will reset everything!! Just go from here, stay away from her."

This little burst out from Valor was totally unexpected. The way he was caging Estella, was enough to let everyone guess his feelings for her. But Estella quickly freed herself from his strong hold, replying,

"No! I understand that it was your wish, but you didn't kill my family, Egon. I know it's a burden. I know everything from the beginning. But you are my friend. You helped me to reconcile with my past. Regarding the king, I don't think I can forgive him for the time being, but I surely don't blame you. You never wanted to kill me. So, don't be guilty about it."

Everybody's ears went stunned after hearing her. How could she forgive him this easily? Is it for real? Estella guessed everyone's thoughts, and responded back,

"Yes, I forgive you. But as you have the urn back to Lady Evanora, I would wish to have it back. It belongs to my family. Besides, I need it to strengthen my powers, only then can I take over the throne." Her last sentence came out as a mere whisper, which was only heard by herself. Helping Egon to stand up, she patted his arms and assured his gesturing to not linger over the past.

Akhim assisted Egon in going in, and have some rest. While Valor confronted her,

"How can you forgive him?"

"Valor, My mother always said that no matter what, we should never be hateful. What's done can't be undone. Also, it was not Egon, it was his father, who also died.

And I feel that you already know who I am now!!" He was taken off guard, and just nodded replying her,

"But that is never going to change anything. Whoever you are, it doesn't matter to me. All that matters is you are here with me, and you are my friend." Both of them smiled softly and Estella averted the topic proposing to have some more snacks.

"I mean I got most of it, but some points are still missing. Do you think I need to know that too, regarding your past?" Valor asked Estella continuing the conversation again, while both were sitting in their respective chairs looking at the chirping birds outside. "I don't think I can go through all that again, Valor. I .. I hope you understand. Besides, it's such a good time of the day. See, the surroundings is so beautiful, and these birds, don't you think that these birds are different from the ones we used to see in our respective towns?" Estella replied back changing the topic.

"Indeed, and they are called birds of heaven. The ones which are red in color. And those, the blue ones, they are always in a pair, and they are called birds of soul." Valor said explaining Estella about those birds, and continued with a question, "Haven't you ever seen them, Estella? Or Don't tell me, you just see the animals which you hunt!!" He raised his eyebrows and earned a hard glare from her side. She punched his forearm softly warning,

"I have seen you and analyzed you very clearly. It means that I am going to hunt you and eat you. Now, get yourself tightened Valor." Saying that she hauled up from her chair and started to rain punches, while Valor started running here and there to save himself with only thought in his mind that how much he missed these beautiful moments with her! How much he craved for her all these years! And how would she react when he would tell her the truth, that she was none other than his little rat !! -YOUNGBLOOD RESIDENCE-

Evanora had been mysterious since Egon left her house. She was feeling bad for him, but all that was needed. She hoped that Estella could forgive him and let go off all her worries and miseries. Only then, she could have a proper access over her powers. All that she had been doing, was just to prepare Estella for slaughtering just like a butcher prepared a lamb.

"I am sorry king Egon Heraoult, but it was necessary. You know there are no free rides. You have to pay for what you desire. I really meant no harm to you." Evanora clenched the urn tightly in her hands moving towards her magic room, waiting for Estella and Valor to arrive sooner.
